Nouvelle maison 4 / 3ème au large de Tavernier Creek, côté océan, avec un quai abaissé et un quai abaissé pour l’embarquement des kayaks et des planches à pagaie. L'escalier intérieur est idéal pour la famille. Haut de gamme se termine avec un immense pont surplombant l'océan, le canal, l'aménagement paysager somptueux et le ruisseau Tavernier. Plus de 100 lumières de paysage la nuit illuminent toute la propriété. La maison d'à côté est également disponible avec une piscine au deuxième étage 4br et 3bth.

Property was perfect. Plenty of dockage for fishing. Pool was refreshing after day if fishing and house was great to just sit, relax and chat

Islamorada House

We needed a few days to relax without sharing a pool or amenities with others. Andy and Emily’s place was perfect. Rented a boat one day and was able to dock it there in between runs, quick access to the canal and ocean. Pool was great and private. Would revisit in the future. Thanks again

House was very clean and comfortable Glad we did not take 2 boats though, as there was a large boat there taking up more than half the dock. Assuming it’s the house owners but not sure. Other than that the descriptions were all accurate. Good location! Pool and yard very nice also!

Great location

Really great location. Nice communication with Andy and we even got to check in early which was wonderful. Loved the pool & outside area. Kitchen was fully equipped, nice to have both refrigerators & plenty of pool & bath towels. I wish there was a place to unpack though. Only one room has a dresser so the rest of us lived out of suitcases which was a pain. Also, the boat trailer parking is very tight, we had to detach it and move it by hand.

1st time in a VRBO

Upstairs was beautiful. Although the large frig didn’t work. The freezer did and the host has place a new smaller frig. The large industrial sized ice maker did not work outside. I phoned the host and he said it was working when he was there July 4th weekend. That was the weekend before my family stayed there. There are no ceiling fans in the house. Maybe the upstairs bedroom had one. We bought two fans for the other rooms. Which we left. There was also no coffee pot. So we bought a coffee maker and also left that there for the next guest. No fans outside. I phoned the host and he said eventually gave me the code for the combination to he shed put back so I could get a fan out for the patio. It has been extremely extra hot these days. So we really appreciated having that big fan. One major issue that we all had was that the doors to the house DO NOT LOCK. For the downstairs anyway. I would be very nervous to stay there by myself, and not have locks on the doors. Especially going back inside after a long, hot fun day. It made us nervous having our things inside of there and not being able to lock the doors. That was just wild to me. The host says that he never locks his doors. We didn’t lock our doors when we were kids either. However, times have changed. both the grills were in bad shape. The one downstairs is a flat top griddle type of thing. We couldn’t use that either because all of the griddle was chipping off. The one upstairs is a mess. All in all we did have a good sta

Great location and very nice home however the forth bedroom is more like a closet with bunk beds in it. We enjoyed the home and the water during our stay. Had a minor issue with the AC and the owners were great and got it fixed really quickly.

Loved every minute

We had such a great time. Emily, the owner, was amazing and so helpful. The neighbors were great and house was beautiful. The only issue we had was backing in our boat trailer because of the angle but with some maneuvering and a few strong men they were able to disconnect it and moved it by hand into the spot. It was a perfect family vacation for my children and grandchildren and we hated to leave. We made wonderful memories.

Perfect location

We rented this house for the doc and pool. The fact that the house was beautiful was an extra added benefit. Owners were brilliant to have included an ice machine. The house had so many cool extras but we didn’t even get a chance to enjoy them since we were out on the boat all day. Absolutely perfect location close to everything!! Stay here, you won’t be disappointed 😍

Truly a paradise

This home is gorgeous and had everything we could ever need. We came here for our honeymoon and barely left this beautiful place. The pool was perfect too. We would definitely stay in this perfect home again!

Superb house and great communication with owners!

The property, rooms and amenities were top notch by any measure. Kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, cups, etc! The owners were great and communication was as well. Definitely going to stay again!!

Labor Day Weekend 2020

The home is in a great location and having a pool on the canal was awesome. Lots of space for relaxing, dining and entertaining. Owners were quick to answer any questions. Our family looks forward to a return visit.

Beautiful Location

The location is simply amazing on Tavernier Creek with direct views of the Atlantic, but the nestled privacy of the canal. The neighbors on both sides were great. The pool was a real treat for the kids after a long day of lobstering! They have an ice maker on the property which every Keys home should have. The three downstairs bedrooms are small, but fine for a vacation when you don't spend much time indoors. They worked out great for the kids. Andy and Emily were simply great and kind people to rent from and they have a beautiful house. We did have a few minor issues -- we didn't get to check-in until after 6pm due to the delay of the previous renters check-out which left us hanging out for 3 hours. The outside had not been cleaned up (previous renters were smokers) so we did that ourselves. We also still didn't have cushions for the chairs, but we didn't spend much time using that furniture (which has been moved downstairs). Some tips for future renters - The kitchen is not really stocked with things you might need for cooking and vacation. More pots, pans, bowls, and a blender would be helpful. They do have a ton of Yeti and RTIC mugs to take to-go drinks. The speakers in the house (and outside) were off-limits for the renters but we brought an Alexa which we used and that worked out great. Overall we were super happy with the house and location and would recommend.

Beautiful vacation home in the keys - great location

The home is recently remodeled and really nicely done! We drove our boat down from Coconut Grove and had no trouble finding the home once we made it to Tavernier Creek. The location is perfect for pleasure boaters, fishing and even day trips to attractions throughout the FL Keys. It was a bummer that we couldn't use the boat lift but there's room for two 30' boats on either side. The master bedroom is large and has great views of the main channel and partial ocean views. The kitchen is open and has an extra large island with seating for 4 and plenty of room for prep or conversations. We never got to use the standup popcorn machine or wine coolers but maybe next time. At night, this home really lights up! They have beautiful landscape lighting and underwater lights in the canal and dock area. The owners were pretty responsive and the couple of minor issues were resolved quickly. Also, both neighbors were extremely friendly and kept checking in with us during our stay. The only knock on this home is one of the bedrooms downstairs doesn't have an A/C vent and gets warm at night in the summer. Other than that, we loved this home and would look to rent here again next year.

Location, Location, Location!!!

House was beautiful, the view outstanding, a couple of glitches, check in was an hour and a half late due to cleaners still there. Probably because she was by herself, there were no cushions on the outdoor furniture that were in the photo, had to improvise. All that aside, I would recommend this home and stay there again.

Key's Getaway

Celebrated my 50th birthday with family and friends. We have been coming to the Key's for years and this is the nicest property we have stayed at. Excellent location just off Tavernier Creek with views of the ocean. Emily was very responsive and check in was a breeze. We really enjoyed having a large on property ice machine. That saved us from our normal daily trip to the store to pick up ice for the coolers. Every house in the Key's should have one. Pool was refreshing after a day on the water. We will definitely be coming back!

Perfect Keys Paradise

The keys have been a vacation destination for us since we were kids. For the past several years we have explored many locations in the keys with our children. This house is by far the best that we have ever found. Right off Tavernier Creek with ample room for 2 or 3 boats, you can be ocean side in 5 minutes and bay side in 20 minutes. The house has been completely renovated to a beachy chic decor with every detail carefully considered (there's even a movie-style popcorn maker - YUM!). The view from the upstairs is spectacular. The brand-new salt water pool is the perfect place to relax after a long day of fishing - there's a sun shelf and bench seating down the whole length of the pool. The layout was perfect for our family with teenage children with the master, kitchen, living room, and half bath upstairs and 3 bedrooms (1 is a bunk room), bathroom, and TV room downstairs. The beds are all extremely comfortable with ultra-soft bedding. There were plenty of extra linens, bath & beach towels. The owners were incredibly kind and quick to respond to any questions we had. Thanks Emily & Andy for making this our best trip ever to the keys. We look forward to many more!

We are snow birds from Minnesota. Andy has been traveling to the Keys every winter since he was a young child. Andy and Emily have two amazing sons and are continuing the tradition of traveling to the Keys and enjoying all they have to offer. Emily is a Dentist employed at the University of Minnesota and has is passionate about serving the underserved. Andy owns a concrete construction company in Minnesota.
