Great place to stay for our ski trip.

Great place to stay in Canmore. We were able to walk anywhere in the city we wanted to go and easily drive to access the 3 nearby ski resorts. Loved the condo, well equipped and clean. We’ve stayed in Banff and Canmore for skiing and I think we prefer staying in Canmore even though the drive is a little farther to the resorts. This is a great place for a couple or two to stay and access everything the area has to offer.

Love this place!

Excellent. The condo was exactly as marketed. The coffee machine was so good I barely ever bought coffee out. The windows and drapes could adjust so that I could be living above a physio and alcohol store and across from a grocery store and not see them only mountains. It was the best. Was quiet and convenient. Highly recommended

Je recommande!

Appartement très bien situé, on part à pied pour visiter le centre-ville! À quelques pas de l’épicerie, pharmacie, etc.Très propre et la cuisine comporte tout le nécessaire. J’ai apprécié la qualité de la batterie de cuisine. Les propriétaires ont la gentillesse de fournir le café et les produits Rocky Mountain pour se laver. Malgré les commentaires précédents, l’endroit est tranquille. Communication facile et rapide avec le propriétaire. Je le recommande fortement!

Canmore is lovely

The nest in the Rockies is exactly that! My husband and I and our great friends Kevin and Susan, came here to see Banff Park. We were up early, hiked most days and it was wonderful to come back to the nest, have a nice fire and dinner to doit again the next day! The kitchen was well stocked, laundry room we put to terrific use and the location fantastic! So convenient and beautiful. Will definately be back!

Great Location and place to use as a base

We enjoyed Magpie"s nest, as we could walk to everything in Canmore and it was close all the destinations we wanted to see. We would stay again if we came back. Perfect for 2 couples. enough to all the destinations we wanted to see.

Convenient to beautiful Banff

Canmore is a great place to stay - convenient to Banff NP but also vibrant by itself with nice restaurants and plenty of nearby trails and wildlife. Magpie’s Nest was nice; a basic 2 bedroom 2 bath space in a condo bldg close to restaurants and retail. Space was functional but a bit tight for our family. Place is well-stocked and owner was easy to communicate with.

Convenient location

This was a nicely appointed unit that had an amazing coffee machine and comfortable beds. Easy walk to grocery stores and restaurants. It is a bit of a noisier location, but after all the outdoor activities, it didn’t phase us.

First trip to Canadian Rockies

We loved staying at Magpie’s Nest. The property was the perfect size for our family of four, and was clean and comfortable. Canmore is a lovely town and the condo was close to town center, allowing us to walk while exploring. Canmore is also a nice centralized location when exploring Banff and Yoho. We will be back. Very satisfied

The property description is accurate, communication with the owner was excellent and always clear, and the actual location of the property for our vacation purposes could not have been better. We loved having grocery stores, other retail shops, and the downtown area within walking distance. Our days were spent out, as they should be in this area, and our evenings were in. This location has easy access to and from the highway leading into Banff National Park. We rented a car in Calgary and enjoyed our exclusive parking spot, just a few steps from the door. We enjoyed every minute of our time in Canmore and traveling around this region. The scenery is stunning and we recommend this property, which we will try to secure for a future visit.

Staying at the Nest

We stayed for 2 nights. We enjoyed the ease and accessibility of amenities of the town. Proximity of restaurants and shopping was fantastic. A well appointed two bedroom getaway. With a pet friendly location I would have more attention paid to the overall cleanliness of the main area floor and balcony area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. 👍

Magpie’s Nest - Best vacation choice!

We go on a weekend getaway with or friends every winter. We have usually just stay in a hotel. This year we chose this wonderful place. Everything about our stay was perfect! The host was wonderful to deal with as well as quick to answer any questions. The condo was a game changer for us all. It was great to be able to have morning coffee, cook some great meals, play games and enjoy a beautiful view with close friends. We just can say enough about Magpie’s Nest it had pretty much everything you would need it felt like we were in our own homes. Beautifully decorated and well taken care of. It will be first on our list for next year’s trip. Dugas/Dickie

Perfect location to explore Canmore.

Best location to walk town center in Canmore. Condo is clean and comfortable. I’d stay here again without hesitation. Great place to spend 2 or more nights when exploring the Banff region.

My name is Rob, and my wife is Martine. I came to the Rockies for a summer camp in 2000 and 2001. I immediately fell in love with the area. I took my wife on a road trip in 2004 and she had the same reaction. It took us 10 years to finally leave the province of Quebec and cross the country with our 3 young children to start a new life in Canmore. Since 2014, we call it home. We love to explore those mountains by foot. We’ve scrambled a few of them and are always looking for new peaks to explore. We now have a furry friend that follow us everywhere, Bernie. You can see him on some pictures. We’ve been sharing our passion for the mountain with our guest since 2015. It’s been an incredible journey that brought us to meet some amazing people.

We wanted to have a property downtown, near all the action. This property offers great view of the mountain, is located in a quiet building and is in a perfect location. Walking distance to groceries, restaurants, pubs, local shops and sports centre. We’ve put a lot of time to make sure this unit meets all your needs.

We offer a local experience with Rocky Mountain Soap Company shower product. We provide locally roasted coffee from Mountain Blend Coffee Roasters. We brew it with our Saeco Moltio automatic coffee machine. Espresso or standard, pick your strength and enjoy!
