Maison au bord de l'eau sur le lac Bonham, à une heure au nord de la métroplexe DFW. 3 chambres, 2 salles de bain - Chambre principale avec lit king size, la deuxième chambre a 4 lits superposés et la troisième chambre a un lit queen size. Grand salon, salle à manger et cuisine spacieuse avec beaucoup d'espace pour la préparation des repas. L'arrière-cour a un patio / terrasse couvert pouvant accueillir 10 personnes et un gril pour la cuisson en plein air. Grand quai a un espace couvert et découvert pour profiter du soleil et de la pêche et de la natation. Beaux couchers de soleil!

Great getaway

Our stay at this place was fantastic! Very quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed watching the sunsets, ducks and geese coming in and swiming and fishing. The house was perfect for our family and had everything we needed. We enjoyed every minute.

Great Bonham get away

We came for a baseball tournament. The house was perfect. The place was beautiful and clean. When we were not on ball field my grandson was able to fish. I would highly recommend this for a weekend getaway

Almost Perfect

It was almost great. I took away 1 star because there was no soap in the master and hardly any of the cheap shampoo. Also, coffee and paper towels is a standard in VRBO’s, and this place didn’t have any of either. Overall, a great place and would be a blast in the summer! To the owner: the price merits coffee, paper towels and good shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Thanks!

Perfect for every age even if it’s windy and cold. You and the kids can freely roam and explore. Our Bonham wedding weekend turned into a 5 star mini-vaca Wonderful place to reconnect and re-evaluate

Clean & cozy lake house

My family had a wonderful time- the living room is comfy, the porch is a great setting and the yard and dock are perfection for kiddos and fisherman. My family caught several catfish which always makes the time at the lake even better! The bunk beds were perfect for our boys, the kitchen & bathrooms are clean and overall a great stay. Would definitely recommend this home and would stay here again.

Just what we needed!

So we are actually from the area and found this to be the perfect little escape for our family. The house is well-maintained, well-equipped with necessities and very clean. The space is well-laid out inside but who wants to spend time in there when you have the backyard and back porch this property has! From the time the coffee was made until the last wine sipped, we pretty much lived on the back porch and on the lake. We brought our boat and the dock was perfect for parking it so we could come back to rest or eat. Property owners were super easy to chat with. All amenities and property features were as described. Neighborhood was quiet. You can get to town or the store easily. Overall, fantastic expererience and just what our family needed!

Great Lakeside Views

The property was nicely updated. The views and atmosphere were as advertised. The dock was a nice place to relax, although it can be a little scary with young children so keep that in mind if you plan to book. Big backyard for kids to play in too. Overall an excellent property.

Spring break visit

Took the family on a trip to the Dallas area and chose this location to stay. We were very pleased with the condition of the house as well as all communication from the owners. The kids really enjoyed the backyard and the patio was great to sit and enjoy the evening time. Would highly recommend.

Great stay - Hidden rules

I had a great stay at this property but when I received the check in information, it was accompanied with lots of additional rules and full of threats to lose the deposit. This is my first Vrbo experience (I typically use another service) so I'm not sure if this is normal. I think that all rules should be given upfront prior to paying and reaching a non-refundable state.

Thanks for the feedback. Before confirming your reservation the checkout instructions and rules (no pets, no smoking, quiet hours) are presented with the statement that violation would mean a loss of deposit. The only additional thing in the instructions is about the septic and a service call so we will add that up front. Most of the things on the list unfortunately we had to learn the hard way such as someone bringing a dog with fleas which cost us a lot of time and money to remedy and was quite unpleasant for the person who came next. Since we don’t own a dog we knew it was a guest. Hate that it’s that way but some people don’t care about others therefore more rules. Appreciate the feedback and we will be more clear up front.

Get away close to family

My family is from this general area (within 30 minutes). Growing up, I never really understood how gorgeous it is out in Fannin Co. This was the perfect to place to stay. I got up early every morning, just to sit out on that Dock! the way it sits still over the water means you can get a breeze even in August! it was lovely!

Wonderful Lake House

It was a perfect lake getaway. The house was exactly as described. The owners were very responsive. We took our boat and the boat dock was very convenient. Sitting on the patio at night listening to nature was exactly what we needed. Will definitely be going back.

Quiet, serene get-a-way on small north Texas lake !

Our time on the lake was just what we were looking for. Quiet, relaxing and time to do some fishing. The house is equipped with everything you need. Would definitely go back there and would recommend this property to those looking to spend time on Lake Bonham. Vickie & John

Good location near town and on the lake

The house is on a great spot close enough to Bonham with the benefits of being on the lake. Outdoor Patio and backyard area is a very nice spot to enjoy good Heather. The owners are very responsive and friendly.

We purchased this property to have a place to escape the city in an hours drive. Our family loves the water and this was the perfect lake for us - small and uncrowded. Our kids are in college now so we don't come out as often and thought we would share this hidden gem with other people who like to hang out at the lake as much as we do. Bring your boat, jet ski, kayaks, fishing poles and hammocks and get ready to relax and enjoy the outdoors!

This is a unique opportunity to get away from the Dallas/Ft Worth metroplex without driving 3 hours. Quiet setting for relaxing, fishing, boating, and swimming - spending time with friends and family. An hour south of Choctaw.
