Take a step back in time as you stay in this restored 1920s service station which was once a stopping point for the infamous Bonnie and Clyde. With exposed brick, reclaimed wood walls, original tin ceilings, and a penny floor, this place is one of a kind! Nestled in the heart of the âsweetest town in Texasâ spend your morning drinking coffee on the patio or eating breakfast at our repurposed Coca Cola cooler table and waking up to the sound of birds singing.
Loved the old-timey gas station theme & all of the artifacts around the property. Mini golf out back was a fun addition! Location was awesome -- right in the middle of town with easy access to everything. 10/10, would definitely do again!
The stay was amazing. Property was in perfect condition on arrival. Cooked some burgers on the grill, and steaks, worked great. Used this as our base for fossil hunting on the river. Even found a messasaur vertebrae!! We would definitely love to return.
Fun unique property with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if traveling through Honey Grove. No close restaurants so bring your dinner with you!!
Property was great and the manager was super helpful. Covered outside area was the reason we stayed to keep the boat out of the rain. Power for the boat and the putt putt course was fun
This is a very unique property and very well thought out. Every detail was fun to look at and read the history of the place. Will definitely stay here in the future.
We LOVED this rental, the attention to detail was impressive (and Iâm picky). The restored gas station was charming, well-appointed, and comfortable. And⊠we had so much fun on the little golf course.
The host was accommodating and responsive, and it was a great price. Two thumbs up, fantastic stay.
Everything was perfect! No issues and the place was super cool and clean. No issues with checking in, etc. Will definitely be staying here again in the future!
This place was "as advertised" and more!!It was previously decorated, yet not cluttered! There were many amenities I didn't even realize (beyond many STCs we've stayed in) which made it easier for us. Laundry pods, sugar, cooking basics, etc. At the same time, the place was updated, felt very clean and welcoming and was an absolute delight to stay in. Family of four with two tweens. We came to the area to fos
Overall a great place to stay. Miniature golf in the backyard was a plus. A minus was the placement of the master bed. The person sleeping on the wall side was forced to exit bed over the other person in bed. Only improvement that needs to be made.
The location was as described. The history of the building can be felt inside. The decor was great and being that I only stayed there for a nights sleep, it was neat walking around and checking out the creative touches. Would highly recommend and the communication was spot on.
Took the family here for Fatherâs Day. Played a ton of mini golf and games and relaxed. Very clean, very comfy, Absolutely stunning property - would go back 100 times.
Super cool spot to rest our heads as we hunted for fossils in nearby Ladonia and Lake Texoma. My kids LOVED all the unique decorating features that brought a little Texas history to life and the mini golf in our backyard was fun for all!
Thank you for an enjoyable stay, we hope to return!
This is such a great place to stay. It is a quaint and unique place. Itâs very clean. Has everything you need and the Hostess, Kayla is very accommodating.
Old gas station and a back yard of fun! Step back in time in this unique detailed place full of family history. Welcome to the brick streets of small town USA. Everything was clean. It exceeded our expectations as we passed through the area.
