Le nom dit tout: "Paix dans les bois"! Cette cabane est isolĂ©e et situĂ©e Ă  l'extrĂ©mitĂ© de Red Fox Lane, en bordure de la forĂȘt nationale de Chattahoochee Oconee.

Cette charmante cabine est aménagée avec goût et est appréciée pour sa beauté, son confort et son intimité. Il y a de grands ponts à l'avant et à l'arriÚre, tous deux partiellement couverts, qui vous permettent de vous prélasser sous le soleil des montagnes de la Géorgie du Nord ou de vous détendre à l'ombre fraßche - lorsque vous ne vous détendez pas dans les eaux chaudes du bain à remous!

Les deux chambres sont situées sur les cÎtés opposés du salon et chacune a un lit king, télévision et salle de bain privée. Profitez du salon confortable devant la cheminée en pierre au bois tout en regardant votre film préféré. La cuisine entiÚrement équipée vous fera vous sentir comme chez vous lorsque vous préparez des collations et des repas. Vous et vos proches apprécierez également de faire des grillades sur le pont arriÚre et de vous asseoir autour du nouveau foyer extérieur.

Cozy, Secluded Cabin Retreat in the Woods

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very unhappy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was exactly what we were looking for. It was close to downtown Helen for easy access, but provided a peaceful getaway in the woods away from the busyness of town. It had all of the necessary amenities and was VERY clean. Kudos to the housekeepers. Our only BIG disappointment was the uncomfortable bed mattress and flat pillows. Next to cleanliness, comfortable sleeping quarters are most important. If one cannot get a good night’s rest, how can a vacation be enjoyable??! The only other feedback we have has to do with lighting. There was a problem with the overhead lighting in the bedrooms; sometimes all three bulbs were lit, and sometimes only one bulb was lit. Also, kitchen lighting could be improved. We think under-cabinet lighting would be a huge improvement. We felt like we were preparing food in a dungeon.

We loved this cabin! The yard was big enough for our dogs. It was very quiet as we were in the last cabin up the driveway. My dad saw a bear about 2:00 in the morning, so beware they are out there. The only thing I can say negative is the road getting to the cabin had a lot of ruts in it, the drive was pretty rough. Other than that, everything was perfect!!!

Very Peaceful and Secluded

The split floor plan for the bedrooms was great! The fenced in backyard was perfect for my pup! Needs a backyard motion sensor light. Very dark once the sun goes down for the pup. The outside needs some TLC but overall a great cabin and location. 10 min drive into Helen! Would definitely go back to this cabin!

Loved our time BUT...

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at “Peace in the Woods. This was our second time to stay there. We love the privacy and easy accessibility to the cabin and local attractions. Unfortunately,the cabin is long overdue for some attention to the outside. It has two lovely porches but we walked through several cobwebs trying to get in and out. It was hard to relax in the hot tub when there is a giant spider dangling over your head! Screens are coming loose and porch furniture needs a good cleaning. Additionally, it rained while we were there and although the sound on the roof was lovely, the gutters were so clogged with leaves and branches that the water didn’t drain and it was like a small waterfall. The inside was immaculate but could stand a few inexpensive “extras”(no toaster? Only a K-cup coffee maker?). We still had a wonderful time but probably won’t return to that cabin again unless some TLC is given!

Wonderful

Everything about this was excellent. The cabin was in a perfect place and there was a fenced yard for our dog. The screened in porch was great for drinking coffee in the mornings. Everything from the check in (which was actually an hour early) to the checkout was perfect. Will definitely be staying there again!!

Beautiful cabin stay!

This cabin was peaceful and quiet. It was well stocked and very clean. Good communication with property managers. (Especially when we accidentally locked ourselves out. Do NOT do that. lol) My only complaint is I didn’t get to meet any bears. Everything else was great!

The kids love having the zoomies in the fenced in back yard. And me and the wife enjoyed the piece of mind that the kids were safe and secured 😌 🙏. And we love the piece and quite of mountain life.The owners are the best also, my wife left a jewelry box behind and they located it and shipped it back to us. Such a nice thing, we know they didn't have to do. We thank you from our hearts. Will be back!!

Awesome Private Getaway!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin is definitely what it says! You are all the way in the back with tons of privacy! Everything was pretty clean and ready for use. The hottub water was crystal clear and up to temp, beds were clean. The owner if took the time to decorate a little bit for the Christmas season. Only thing i will say is that the dish washer had a little mold forming, probably just from it being wet and closed from the last renter. All in all would highly recommend and I’ll definitely rent it again for another weekend getaway!

There was no poop in yard upon my arrival nor did my dogs leave any. Even being in the mountains not a single bug inside. Floors almost seemed to shine they were so clean. Georgia Mountain Rentals is best agency to use. Superb friendly service. On call. Better rates than hotels. About 7-10 minute drive into town.

Relaxing weekend getaway

The cabin was perfect for a quiet, low key trip. We originally had daily activities planned however, all the rain canceled those plans. This gave us full opportunity to enjoy the screened in porch and just listen to the rain fall between the wooded and secluded scenery. We used the hot tub at least twice a day. The fenced in yard was perfect for our boxer to run and play.
