I would say this is only a decent property in a decent neighborhood. It’s a studio and besides a SUPER comfortable bed, everything else is a bit awkward. The kitchenette is very small and there is a note that says you have to wash the dishes outside. The outside area is nice but the traffic is very loud. The checkin process was weird because the documents would not come through as a hyperlink. Eventually the owner did text them to me. However when I got to the property there was no information about how to get into the outside gate. They did finally text that to me as well. No real problems.. just a bit inconvenient.

Island Nest

My husband and I booked this trip for our honeymoon. We loved the central, safe, and quiet location. The unit was very clean and the check in process was seamless. We wished there was a little more counter (or table) space in the kitchenette, but the outdoor kitchen provided ample extra space. Overall, this listing is great and we would stay here again!

Perfect stay!

This stay was beyond expectations! The photos do not fully encapsulate the experience. David was a very accommodating and prompt professional host . All booking and stay information was effectively communicated , efficient and easily accessible. David was accommodating to the times of our stay especially at short notice. The room itself was spotless, perfectly adorned and spacious. Perfect Air conditioning to escape the heat . The outdoor deck and patio were perfect. Approximately 10mins give or take from Folly Beach and close to stores , restaurants etc. I booked this suite as a gift and they absolutely loved it! Thank you.

Comfortable,Clean, and Convenient

The Island Nest property was exactly as described.It was spotlessly clean and comfortable.There was a lot of parking, and the visitors in the other two units were quiet and never disturbed us in any way. However, the road in front was often very busy making it difficult to hear the tv on the deck- not really a deal breaker!The location is close to Folly Beach and getting to downtown Charleston is not a problem.The property owners were very attentive and helpful and were available to answer questions.

Good location between Folly and Downtown Charleston

This rental is as described. We were looking for a quiet low key rental between Folly and Downtown Charleston. The best part of the rental was the bed/pillows and jacuzzi tub. The road it’s on is pretty busy, so we didn’t really spend but an hour on the deck as it was a little noisy. However, the patio is very nice and we would have enjoyed it otherwise. There is good communication so there is zero chance that you’d have to reach out with any questions. Lastly, I would advise you to leave the rental 15mins before checkout, as the cleaning crew will be ready to enter early. To summarize, we had a comfortable stay and we were in a good location in relation to the places we wanted to visit.

"This is a great place if you are visiting Charleston but need a little parking and space. The deck is fantastic! Comfy furniture, a full outdoor kitchen -- even a big screen TV. In a suburban neighborhood about 15 minutes from the heart of the city. We arrived with a pickup and trailer -- no problem. Plenty of off-street parking, secured behind a gate. That gave us a real sense of security; it's like having a compound. The bed was great and all amenities in place. Really a fantastic stay!" -Kyle

Centrally located between Folly Beach and Historic Downtown Charleston, this spacious master suite is perfect for a couples getaway! The spacious studio unit has a king-size bed, bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and shower, walk-in closet, sitting area, 55” smart TV, and en-suite kitchenette that offers a fridge, microwave, toaster and coffee pot. The real star is the private deck overlooking the oak tree compound, featuring a full outdoor kitchen, an entertainment area with hammock chairs, a 43” smart tv and outdoor shower located at the bottom of the stairs. This unit is accessible through a private entrance with a remote controlled gate and a fully fenced backyard.
