We booked the Forest Haven with Tanglewood Cabin for a week stay. It was a great week!!!
Location is the best!! It was a short drive to Helen and Anna Ruby Falls. The cabin is so rustic and comfy with plenty of room. Everything you could possibly need is there.
The only thing we missed was seeing a bear lol
The kids wanted to see one so bad.
Highly recommend this cabin to a big family.
We had a terrific time at the cabin. It was a close proximity to Helen, GA. The drive was very easy it made for a great Thanksgiving week vacation. The only complaint that I had was that the sheets could be updated to a better quality and guaranteed fresh and clean.
3 generations of girls stayed 2 two nights and it was perfect for cooking, lounging and playing games. We visited a winery in the area and downtown Helen for Octoberfest. We loved the view from the porch swing and the kitchen table was more than enough room for meals and games. Bring your own pillow and throw blanket if you want extra cozy. That is the only thing lacking is the cute little cabin.
Easy to find using gps, no problem getting access, well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels, beds super comfy. Fireplace inside is sweet! TVs in every room. Wi-Fi excellent. Big dining table for family games or dinners. Bar that has 3 bar stools. Ricking chairs looking into the woods with a swing. fire pit for Sâmores! We thoroughly enjoyed every minute.
This place feels like home. There were 7 adults 1 child in our group and our dog. Never stayed in a rental so well stocked . We cooked all our meals and it has everything you need and I mean everything down to measuring cups etc. Beds super comfortable. Place is very clean and plenty of towels . If with a big group bring extra trash bags is my only suggestion. We had a lot of trash from cooking. Highly recommend. Had a wonderful time.

Amazing location for quick access to Helen! There is a hot tub as well.
For three adults, two busy teenagers, and two average sized doggies, we found this cabin small. The king and twin rooms are upstairs, with a bathroom in the middle. The bathroom has a one-sink vanity and a narrow shower only. The stairs are very narrow and slippery. Downstairs has two queen rooms, with a bathroom in the middle. This bathroom also has a one-sink vanity and tub/shower combo. Bring your own soap and hand soap!
Bring paper products if you plan to have your meals in the cabin. There is no dishwasher, and you are charged an additional $50 if you don't leave all items washed. Pots and pans are ancient and minimal at best. You must also bring trash bags as only one is provided.
A lovely washer and dryer are available but bring your detergent as none is provided.
The driveway is a bit steep. All roads on the property are gravel. My jeep handled it fine, but the car struggled.
Please note that all items of concern have been shared with management. The property manager Sheila is wonderful. So, other than the layout, all our problems are fixable for future guests. If you are looking for a convenient location and no fluff cabins, this is the place!
The property was very clean. The Christmas tree lights only worked on the very bottom. Also, I would suggest more lighting in the living area. The only lights are on each side of the fireplace and they flicker a lot. There was only one stopper between both bathrooms and it was so small you needed a knife to remove it.
The cabin was beautiful, beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. We stayed thanksgiving and I had to prepare food for 7 of us, this kitchen had everything I needed to do that. We have a very memorable time.
Overall good stay! Had right amount of space for our group and great location! Property management was very responsive and got issues we had taken care of. Could have been a little cleaner but like I said pm took care of it. Would recommend if you are visiting for Helen but donât want downtown!
We had 1 39yo, 2 45yo, and 4 in the late 60's, early 70's. We were really there to sleep as we met with many other family members in Helen and Festhalle for Octoberfest. Great long weekend and wonderful visit.
Beautiful place to stay. Everything was fine except the carpet in the living room had what looked like cigarette burns and carpet in one bedroom upstairs had ripped carpet.
This property has excellent sleeping arrangementsâ4 bedrooms, 2 upstairs and 2 on the main level. The two on the main level both have a king bed, and upstairs, one bedroom has a king bed and one has two twins. One full bath upstairs, and one on the main level. Also there is a tv in the living room, and a tv in each bedroom (although the one in the bedroom with 2 twins we couldnât get to work.) The kitchen was pretty well-equipped, except there is NO DISHWASHER!! Wouldâve been nice to see that stated in bold before we booked!âlast thing I want to do on vacation is wash dishes by hand! Also the living room carpet is covered in what appear to be burn marks, which was very unappealing.
The house has two porches, one on each side. One has a porch swing, which my kids loved, and the other sideâs porch has a picnic table. Also you canât beat the location, a very short drive to both downtown Helen and to Anna Ruby Falls.
We had an issue getting on the WiFi (the information listed on the WiFi sign in the kitchen is NOT correct), but the management company did resolve the problem for us quickly. đ
Great company to work with. Very helpful and friendly. Great location to Helen and to surrounding area for white water rafting.
Great rooms with 3 king size Beds in 3 of the 4 rooms.
