Great family get away
Nice condo, great amenities, gorgeous beach, perfect location. Rode bikes for miles on the beach and around the town. Had takeout dinners on the porch. Used the beach chairs provided to sun on the beach. Used the gym & indoor pool on the rainy day. Great trip!!
We loved this Condo and the view was Beautiful. Perfect location for us. Janice was sooo good to work with especially with the Hurricane and evacuation. Would definitely stay here again and appreciate the price she rents her place for.... that’s a plus for an average working family. Thanks for everything Janice!!
Villamare is a really nice complex, close to everything you need. The unit was the perfect size for us, however, it was dirty! We found the following upon our arrival: used soap and shampoo bottles in the shower (tells me it was never cleaned)., a used pillowcase thrown on the bed, used q-tips on the floor in the second bathroom and a dirty kitchen floor. I will not stay at this unit again.
I just felt sick when I heard this review. We have had issues with the cleaning staff in the past and yes this is our 3 cleaning company in 5 years. It is very disheartening to say the least. I again alerted our management company about the problem as this is is what affecting our reviews not the quality of the furniture, appliances, fixtures etc. We take a lot of pride in our unit and keep it updated with the best of things and hearing this is just not us or what we represent. The staff is also responsible for alerting us about wearing items and this staff did not do this either. We have addresses the problem and we are on to another company. I really feel awful hearing this as any owner would who puts a lot of time and effort into a unit and then has no control over the basic cleaning aspect. I believe we have it under control.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villemare 3321. We had a few concerns.
The location was ideal and the condo was well appointed and spacious. The kitchen faucet and master bathroom fixtures were very loose. One of the sinks in the master bath leaked. We reported it to Island rental as directed and they were aware of the problem but had not fixed it. The blinds in the spare room did not close properly and a slat was missing, therefore, letting in a lot of light. The condo was clean and well supplied.
I was sorry to hear about the maintenance issues that were apparent for our guest. I have addressed these issues and talked with our rental agency about why the problem of the leak wasn't remedied immediately. It was a matter of time I was told as another renter was coming in but still I think a leak should be fixed right away, so I was disappointed in my people. The loose faucets and the leak should have been fixed by now and I have spoken with my agency that I expect better care for my condo and my guests. I appoint my condo with very nice furniture and items so I do expect the same for my maintenance people as I really do care about how my condo represents me.
