Fun style for vacation home. Keep in mind the pool isnât heated depending on time of year (which we knew), but the hot tub was a nice touch. Cool views and good privacy. Not a fancy place but everything we needed was there and it was a good vacation.
The property was well stocked as well as a perfect layout for a family. We enjoyed the pool and quiet Neigjborhois. We would stay again. Shanna is an excellent host.
Shanna was very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. The home is comfortable, very well appointed and Shanna is a very thoughtful host. It is private, secure and in a beautiful location.
Great sitting/conversation spots inside and outside. Older home with lots of character that is nicely remodeled and has tons of unique features. High quality linens, pots, pans, spices, cooking tools, BBQ grill etc. If you like to cook you will love staying here. Overall, a great experience and would stay again for sure.
We had a great stay at this VRBO property. The house was perfect for our group of two couples and a dog. The outdoor area is amazing -- multiple different areas to hang out in, a pool, hot tub, swing, misters on the patio -- everything was so functional. We mostly hung out outside, but the inside was also very comfortable. The kitchen was well outfitted and organized and a very inviting place to cook. Overall, loved this place!
This property has it all! Itâs spacious, family friendly and located close to major highways. The accommodations were perfect for our group of 7. Each adult required their own bed and Shanna made it happen. Sheâs such a wonderful host! She had an assortment of snacks and drinks for us upon arrival.
We loved the many common spaces and, enjoyed watching the wild life around the property. We were there doing humanitarian aid around southern Tucson and the house was located just a few minutes from Humane Borders headquarters and major highways.
If we needed anything Shanna was readily available. The pool was great, the spa was always the perfect temperature!
She had cards, board games, art supplies and tons of great books to read. You canât go wrong! We would stay here again!
Wonderful house, great location and beautiful views
This house was perfect for our travels with 3 kids and 2 dogs! Shanna was an amazing host. The house was full of character and Shanna made sure it was stocked with everything you could possibly need.
Our kids were in distance learning and my husband and I worked during our stay. There was plenty of space and internet capacity for us all, not to mentioned a well stocked art supply bin that came in handy for some school projects! We also felt completely safe here during COVID. The few times the owners stopped by to check on the spa and do maintenance, everyone masked up and respected social distancing. We made most of our meals at the house and the kitchen was well stocked, not only with cooking utensils, but also some fun spices and other staples. Our kids were motivated to make some fresh squeezed lemonade using the juicer and I think the coffee was some of the best I've had - I may need to purchase a Coffee Ninja soon!
We enjoyed the spa, gardens and all of the outdoor space, not to mention the amazing views of the mountains. We also were treated to some javelinas strolling through the wildlife path that crosses the property. The fenced in yard was great for the dogs and the neighborhood was very "dog walking" friendly.
There are several great hikes nearby. We took in the sunset at Gates Pass several evenings and hiked Saguaro National Park and Sabino Canyon as well as many smaller trails.
Overall, a wonderful place to stay and we hope to return!
We love this location and neigborhood for its quiet atmosphere, natural undisturbed desert areas, It has close 10 minute proximity to mountains and hiking and downtown restaurants and nightlife.
The house is a classic tucson burnt adobe house and has not been done in the black/brown/white monotone style popular now, but has a classic southwestern feel. The renovations have kept that style. it feels like you are nestled away
