This home was lovely and the view INCREDIBLE. We had trouble locating the place because we are not familiar with this area so get extra instructions ahead of time if you are driving. This was an awesome place to stay!
My wife, daughter and I stayed at the villa. It is beautiful Plenty of room with a kitchen living room and spacious patio. The view is stunning. The pictures do not do it justice. It is worth staying just for the view.Minutes walk from the cable car and minutes to all the shops.Taormina is incredible. If you drive here make sure you can drive a standard up steep hills with plenty of switch backs.
Isabella patiently helped us find our way to the entrance. She showed us everything, wonderful hospitality. Roomy unit beautiful sea view from comfortable balcony. Well appointed kitchen.
The apartment was nice, the view was spectacular. There were so many things to do, walk to the Taormina town center, hike to the beaches and a castle, fun night life, close enough to other towns, Castemola, Syracuse, Etna for a day trip.
The property manager, Isabella, was fantastic, very helpful and a great job introducing us to the property and surrounding area.
Loved our stay. Didn't want to leave.
Overall, everything was lovely. We were not aware that there were a number of steps to carry our luggage, but we missed it in the information. However, everything was absolutely breathtaking.
We visited Taormina for a week long stay and this apartment was the perfect location. Only a 5 minute walk to the center of Taormina and a 5 minute walk to the gondola which provided access to the beach. Also the view from the apartment was incredible. It was very nice to wake up each morning to the sunrise over the sea!
We absolutely loved our stay! This was the perfect location just a three minute walk to the entrance of the Main Street of Taormina with shopping, restaurants and cafes all around. The property has a beautiful pool with a stunning view. The unit is so close to town but so peaceful being just on the outskirts of the hustle and bustle. There is also parking and the unit is very spacious for a family of 4. We would not hesitate to book here again!
The location on this couldn't be better. The apartment was very comfortable for myself and my kids. I loved waking to the sunrise and the sound of the birds every morning. The rooms could be darkened fully, which my kids liked, but I liked having the light. The property manager, Isabella, was so helpful in helping for activity ideas, finding a babysitter, and everything else we needed. I would definitely recommend this property.
This place was what we expected a good location, close to everything with a great view. the exception was the kitchen was very poorly supplied for cooking and we wanted to cook as we stayed for 9 days. There was one cutting knife, one pot. Also the lighting inside was far too bright with no lampshades or dimmers. To make it five stars and it could easily become that I would suggest to the owners to stock the kitchen with pots pans knives, peeler for veggies, as if they were living there and cooking put some love into decor and lighting.
This is a lovely apartment with gorgeous sea views which is perfectly located for all that Taormina has to offer. We were met at the property by the local agent who showed us everything in the apartment and around the complex, including the pedestrian gateway that is a 2 minute walk from the town centre. The apartment itself has 2 good size bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin) plus 2 bathrooms (1 with shower cubicle, 1 with bath with shower hose). There is a well equipped kitchen and a large sitting room (with sofa bed if needed), but the star of the show is the balcony, where we sat every morning and evening to take in the views. We also had a dedicated parking space in the secure garage. The complex has a large pool, again with great views, surrounded by communal sunbeds/umbrellas - it wasn't always possible to get a sunbed on arriving at the pool, but they usually became free after a while, and we were there during the busiest holiday week of the year, so understandable. Taormina itself is a gorgeous town - absolutely full of history, architecture, shops, restaurants and bars - and an evening stroll is absolutely essential. We were only in Taormina for a week, which was nowhere near long enough to explore everything, but we enjoyed every day in this apartment.
Excellent location and with everything you would need
We were a party of five friends who decided that we wanted a long weekend away from our husbands, children and other day-to-day responsibilities. The apartment is a 10 minute walk from the bus terminal (do not follow Google's instructions which try and take you via the Via Guardiola Vecchia as it is steep clamber with cases and has no footway). Those arriving by bus, take a left out of the terminal and keep going. From the apartment into the main body of the town was a short, pulse increasing, walk of around 4-5 minutes.
We were met at the entrance to the apartments by Isabella, who showed us around the apartment and pointed us in the right direction of where to pick up the basics (milk, bread, croissants, fruit). We opted for this apartment owing to the access to a pool, which we didn't really take advantage of (it was a bit too chilly), but we did relax by it one morning. There were only eight loungers set out - not sure if there were more available at the complex, but something to consider if you don't want to fight for a spot. The apartment looks down to the sea (across the expressways) so early morning views are lovely, albeit it can get a bit noisier as traffic builds up on the roads.
We had a fabulous time: we took a cable car down to Isloa Bella (its likely that you will be pestered by folk asking if you want a massage - be prepared to tell them to go away on more than one occasion). We took a trip to Mount Etna, approximately 90-minutes by bus from Taormina (wrap up warm and wear sturdy shoes if you plan on visiting close to the summit - although you can hire walking books and a jacket); there was snow at the top and it was windy with a wind chill of around -5oC (no flip flops or shorts).
For those returning to the airport by bus, please note the return bus times and that you leave plenty of time!! The bus to the airport is not a dedicated airport service and is used by locals who will occupy seats on the hourly service - you may find yourself with no seat and a long wait. This happened to us so we decided to take a local bus down (10mins) to the train station and take the train to Catania Central (35mins express/55mins local) then take the ALIBUS dedicated airport service back to the airport (20mins). At Catania Central Station, take care if you are approached by 'taxi' drivers - some may be unlicensed, or do not have the sufficient number of seats for the number of passengers they 'claim' to be able to carry).
Beautiful terrace and spectacular view of the sea. Gorgeous sunrises. Very nice spacious and immaculate apartment. Perfect location. We were warmly greeted by the owner.
Overall...terrific.
My wife and I had a fantastic time on our honeymoon in Taormina. Valeria and her father were very helpful in coordinating the place and time to meet to stay at their family's apartment as well as welcoming us to Sicily with a bottle of wine. The apartment was very nice and the views were incredible. Sun rise each morning was beautiful to see over mainland Italy. The complex was nice as well and the walkway to the city of Taormina was 5 minutes away - we rarely saw anyone at the complex so it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves ( we stayed from 5/16 - 5/19) and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting!
Our family of four spent five nights in Valeria's apartment. Valeria and her parents gave us a warm welcome, complete with a bottle of Sicilian wine and limoncello. Everything was perfect as described -- but the pictures don't do it enough credit. The view is breath taking. Location was very convenient -- it's a short walk to Corso Umberto and great restaurants and shops. We look forward to going back.
It's a beautiful apartment with a view that is very convenient to walk to all the highlights in Taormina. We would book there again if we returned. It's clean and comfortable, beautiful view and in a perfect location. The only downside was having to check out by 9 am and although there is parking, it is a little challenging to coordinate. The owners were helpful. We would all recommend it.
Our party of two couples stayed at this apartment for four nights in early October. First off, the photos do not do this place justice--the view from the patio is absolutely stunning! The patio was surprisingly large which we appreciated. The apartment is as advertised in terms of amenities: two bedrooms, one with a queen and one with twin beds; two bathrooms, one with a bathtub/showerhead combo (but no shower curtain) and the other with a small shower; the kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, etc.; there was a washing machine and a large drying rack to hang our clothes out.
Parking was in the basement and was easy to navigate. The wifi worked well, and for those of us that did not have an international data plan, this was invaluable. There was a small market about a block away and another larger market farther away. It takes about five minutes to walk to the Corso Umberto.
We stayed at another hotel in Ortygia and an apartment in Sorrento on the same trip, but this was hands down our favorite place to stay.
Valeria was incredibly helpful in guiding us to restaurants and activities and was available via WhatsApp whenever we had any questions. We highly recommend this apartment and would stay here again.
Everything was amazing. Photos do not do this apartment justice, you will love the views, the pool, and the "back door" access to Taormina. Our hosts were informative, punctual, and sincerly thoughtful about our stay. Next time in Taormina we are sure to stay again. We stayed for 4 nights with our family of 5 and it was a perfect location. Thanks!
My wife and me stayed in this amanzing apartment in September. The location is perfect, all the pictures are absolutely real. In a quick walk it is possible to arrive to Corso Umberto and the access to the funivia (to the beach) is very easy. The view from the balcony is simply stunning. The apartment itself is perfect and four people can sleep there confortable. We found it very clean, with all the supplies you need. We had sweet breakfast and lunch in the balcony with a wonderful view. The complex itself looks like a resort. For this location, the price is appropriate. The incredible view and the ospitality of the owners makes our stay an incredible holiday. But there's more. The park is included and the owner Valeria is helpfull for all you need. At our arrive we found tipical sicilian's sweets. For us this was the second time in Taormina but we feel like we found the best place to stay in Taormina. Mark
