'Busy Doin' Nothin 'est situé dans un quartier résidentiel unifamilial - aucune des plages surpeuplées, de la circulation, du bruit, etc. associés à certaines zones de la côte du golfe.

Restaurants et magasins de proximité situés à proximité. Au dernier décompte, 13 terrains de golf dans la région, Bon sécurisé Wildlife Refuge national, le Mobile Bay Ferry, site historique de Fort Morgan, Alabama Birding Trail sont tous à proximité. Pour ceux qui désirent 'shop' til you drop ', le Centre Rivera contient plus de 100 magasins d'usine et est situé dans les environs de Foley (environ 10 miles au nord de Gulf Shores).

La plus belle plage du monde est situé à environ 100 verges à partir de votre porte d'entrée. La maison dispose d'un wagon pour votre usage dans l'exécution des fournitures de plage nécessaires, chaises, etc.- dont la plupart sont disponibles à la maison pour votre usage. Parce que la maison est située sur la péninsule Fort Morgan, la baie de Mobile est directement au nord de la maison, moins d'un 1/4 mile de distance, et offre de pêche, pêche au crabe, la crevette, etc. La maison dispose de casiers à crabes disponibles pour votre usage, vous devrez apporter votre propre matériel de pêche. Un quai de pêche est situé sur le site historique de Fort Morgan et est disponible pour votre usage à un prix symbolique, et bien que la rampe de lancement public.

The house was very comfortable, spacious, and had everything we needed for a quiet vacation for my husband and I and our adult children. We will definitely look to stay here again.

Family vacation

We rented this house to meet family members. Tha house was wonderful it was roomy and close to the beach. The neighborhood is quiet and beach is very family friendly and clean. The hosts were friendly and quickly responded to all our inquiries prior to our stay. Would highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay here again.

A Standing Ovation!

We loved our month stay at Busy Doin’ Nothin’!!! It was perfect for us and our dogs. The house was well stocked, clean and nicely furnished. The back yard was great for our dogs. The location was awesome—just a couple hundred steps to the beach. We really enjoyed meeting and talking with our neighbors and several others who come every October. We had a little hiccup with our WiFi. The owner was immediately on top of it. We were sad to leave today, but we will definitely be back.

Great stay!!!

We had a wonderful week at Busy Doin Nothin! Property was perfect! Rustic and beachy! Tina was the most accommodating! We had one issue, terrible mosquitoes because of prior rains before we showed up, and she called the town and they came and sprayed twice! Service!!!!! Wow! Thanks for your help! We will definitely stay with you in the future!

Most Amazing Beach House!

Our family had an incredible vacation/ baseball tournament! This home was spacious, clean with amazing quiet beach access just about a football field from front door to sand! Comfy beds, nice size kitchen open to the dining area and living room. Lots of fun beach things, enjoyed some and added to the collection! Loved the covered parking, in the ground grill, outdoor shower and hose to keep the sand down in the house. The 3 full baths made it easy to clean up after the beach, tile floors throughout were easy to sweep up, laundry area was nice and bright and the berber carpet was a bonus touch in the bedrooms. Overall, very nice for a very away vacation! Thanks Tina and Joe!

Nice....

Communication with the Owner was easy. Location was easy to find, and it was a short nice walk to the beach. Lots of room in the Kitchen/ Dining Room and Living Room. The whole area is very dog friendly. It should be noted the fourth bedroom is not a Queen and 2 twins, it is just a Queen bed. The floor in the master bathroom was not clean, but it seemed like everything else was. The stairs were a little shaky, which can happen over time at the beach, anyone who is not sure footed may have a hard time on them. Mostly my only warning is that the master bath is aggressively orange, lol. Be warned when you turn on the lights. All that being said, I would rent it again. It would make a great week or more stay, for a group of no more than 8, it has plenty of room for everyone!

Indecisive owner

The property was fine, although there was sand in one of the beds and a towel full of someone's hair, but overall okay. However the owner (who consented to us bringing 5 dogs, which I paid an extra fee for) tried to cancel my trip less than 24 hours prior to our arrival for a Christmas vacation. I assured her that they were well behaved. Apparently she expected a SPOTLESS place when we left. I got none of my deposit back. If you're bringing pets just a warning - make sure they don't shed!!!!

First, the good- -the A/C is a workhorse. The A/C kept us cool the whole stay! -Location is perfect! Close to the beach. -comfortable beds -wagon, beach things, nets, and crab traps provided!!! -Tina is great and very responsive. Side note- the starter supplies were more than expected due to previous reviews and enough to get us started on our stay. Issue- -there was visible dog hair on the floors and sheets of one bed. Tina took steps to resolve the issue and I am satisfied with the solution. Overall the good outweighs the one issue and I would return again!

Wonderful Family Vacation

I stayed at Tina's house with my husband, parents, brother, sister-in-law, sister, and my brother's three-month-old baby. We had plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and having three bathrooms was amazing. We used a lot of water between all of the showers, dishwasher, and laundry, but we never ran out of hot water. The air conditioner always kept the house cool and comfortable (despite it being hot outside). The kitchen was well stocked with all of the cooking utensils, dishes, cutlery, etc that we needed. There was even some spices, cooking oil, dish soap, dishwasher and laundry detergent already waiting in the cabinets. There were plenty of towels for everyone, the beds and bedding were comfortable, and there was a variety of beach chairs, toys, boogie boards, etc in the storage room downstairs. The beach was less than a block away and since there are no condos in this area it was not crowded and was mostly families. There was an abundance of wildlife at the beach. We saw schools of several different types of fish swimming in the waves, a variety of sea birds (mostly pelicans and terns, but there was also a great blue heron fishing along the shore one day), and a pod of 12-15 dolphins jumping in the waves just off shore for several hours one day. It was a very peaceful neighborhood and only a couple of miles from the ferry to Dauphin Island (we took a day trip over there). We had an amazing time and would definitely visit again. Thanks Tina!

WARNING!!! Nightmare Experience All Together

House was furnishing are garage sale quality. Dirty dishes in cabinets. Kitchen stove hood super filthy. Stairs are very unstable without proper rails for handicapped. Refrigerator was not working properly and has a note on it to the fact. Both refrigerators went out during 1st day. There was no where to put cold items. Ice chest had to be purchased. The main refrigerator was semi-cool on arrival. The note on refrigerator explain not to overload or keep open. I placed my insulin in the door and shut it. When I returned 3 hours later the refrigerator was hot as was my insulin. I notified owner and she sent repair man and her husband next morning. The husband apologized and brought ice for refrigerator. He inspected the hot refrigerator. Repair man came and clean dirty coils and stated refrigerator should cool down after a few hours and not to use till then. The repairman gave me a businesscard in case the refrigerator did not cooldown. The owner apologized and stated she would cover the cost of medication ruined. Now that I am home, the owner states there was nothing wrong with both refrigerators and I am after her money. Sad way to treat people but money is obviously an issue for this owner. To blame renters for know issues. Don’t trust these people with your vacation, find another property. WARNING

Dream Trip

We were blessed to be able to visit Ft Morgan Beach for one month as a retirement ‘gift’ to ourselves and was my dream trip come true!! Was I ready to leave? NO!! We have been visiting Ft Morgan Beach doe about 10 years and we love it! Busy Doin Nothing was perfect for our trip as we had family & friends down to visit throughout the month! The owners, Tina & Joe, are so kind, quick to respond and genuinely just want visitors to relax and have a wonderful time! We would rent this home again in a heartbeat!

Buice Beach Bash

Joe and Tina are absolutely the best!!! We got there early and she said if it was clean, go on in and start enjoying! We had plenty of room for everyone and the kitchen was Fully Stocked with everything you needed! She called/texted several times to make sure we had everything we needed. Couldn’t have asked for a better host or vacation. We’ll see you next year!

Great place for family vacation.

It was very easy to rent the property and communicating with Tina was easy as well. She was very responsive to my questions. The property is very close to the beach and had everything we needed. The beach wasn’t crowded and Our daughter brought her dog and it was very pet friendly. Thanks for a wonderful vacation.

Family vacation

The house is just a very short walk to the beach. The beach was not too crowded. The house was perfect size and had plenty of dishes. The ice cream truck came by daily and was a hit with the kids! Never had any issues but did see owner while working on another property. Super nice guy.

We are native Alabamians. We live in Tallassee, Alabama.
Joe and I enjoy actively participating in our Church, traveling with our friends, boat rides on Mobile Bay, fishing and shrimping, riding the ferry to Dauphin Island, bike rides in the Fort Morgan and Dauphin Island area, and enjoying the prettiest beach in the world- here in Ft. Morgan!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The Fort Morgan area reminds us of how Gulf Shores was forty (40) years ago- prior to the proliferation of condos. Ft. Morgan is a quiet, peaceful place to relax and enjoy the pristine white sandy beach, salt air, and the ever-present Gulf breezes; a community of single-family homes, with great neighbors and friends.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Only a short walk (less than 100 yards- length of football field) from the house to the beach. Our street (Bernard Court East) actually dead ends onto the beach- there is no cutting through other property owner's yards, or walking down the beach front road east or west to access the 'public' areas. The Gulf and Bay views (when leaves are off the trees in the Fall and Winter) can be enjoyed from the front deck. Since the house is located about a 1/4 mile away from Fort Morgan Marina, and approximately a mile from the Ft. Morgan historic site with public boat launch and fishing pier (to be remodeled in the coming year), there are a lot of fishing and boating activities available- we enjoy shrimping and fishing in Mobile Bay. .
