Casita Artista-

Détendez-vous dans une délicieuse casita de Santa Fe; mettez vos pieds, faites comme chez vous. Récemment remodelée dans le plus pur style Santa Fe, la chambre à coucher et l'unité de bain ont le sens du style et de la couleur de l'artiste. Des illustrations originales sont présentes dans toute la casita (l'artiste de Denver Patricia Zilinski est en vedette).
Profitez de votre première tasse de café pour la journée sur votre terrasse privée tout en admirant les mystiques montagnes Sangre de Christo. Les oiseaux locaux seront votre sérénade.
Explorez Santa Fe… la Plaza est à quelques pâtés de maisons et Canyon Road est si accessible à pied. Le Casita est situé juste à côté d'Artist Road, ce qui rend le domaine skiable de Santa Fe et 10 000 vagues si proches. L'opéra de Santa Fe est facile d'accès… terminez votre journée avec des divertissements de classe mondiale en été. Ou offrez-vous votre cocktail préféré sur la terrasse Casita, avant un fabuleux dîner en ville.
Trop froid pour s'asseoir dehors? Un feu grillé dans la cheminée de style Pueblo avec une tasse de thé ou un verre de vin vous réchauffera!
Un parking hors rue à côté du jardin clôturé coyote facilite l'arrivée. L'entrée se fait dans une grande cuisine entièrement équipée et un coin petit-déjeuner. Le sol en brique rouge et un foyer au bois fonctionnel ajoutent à l'ambiance; un haut plafond et une lucarne illuminent le coin cuisine.
Le salon a des sols carrelés, une cheminée kiva et des vigas, qui ajoutent tous à l'atmosphère de Santa Fe. Le canapé est également un canapé-lit queen size disponible pour les invités supplémentaires. Une chaise en cuir avec repose-pieds est un endroit confortable pour profiter d'un feu alléchant dans la cheminée kiva.
Juste à côté du salon se trouve une grande salle de bain avec douche, lampes chauffantes et grand comptoir. Une laveuse / sécheuse dans situé dans la salle de bain. La chambre principale a des planchers de bois franc avec un lit queen size en fer forgé.
Pour le prix, vous ne trouverez pas un meilleur rapport qualité / prix pour ce super emplacement. Assurez-vous également que votre location à court terme est légale et dispose d'un permis de la ville de Santa Fe. Nous avons un permis.


Ne séjournez pas dans un hôtel étouffant, profitez de notre casita confortable !!!

Just finished a wonderful stay in Santa Fe! This was a perfect home base - easy walk or drive to the plaza and easy access to highways to head out for day trips. The courtyard is the perfect place to relax and recharge. Bob is a wonderful host and very attentive and responsive. I’m looking forward to my next stay!!

The Casita Artista is a lovely place to call home while in Santa Fe. It has everything, and then some, a guest might need or want! It gets top marks for cleanliness, comfort, decor including wonderful artworks, and convenience. I loved spending mornings on the porch sipping coffee and watching the sunrise over the mountains while planning my day. Parking was good. is in a very nice neighborhood and easy walking distance to the Plaza, museums, shops and restaurants. I appreciated the call from the owner to find out if I was enjoying my stay there. Santa Fe is my favorite city to visit and I look forward to staying at Casita Artista again.

We enjoyed our stay at the casita over Thanksgiving. Very cozy and a great location. Very quiet neighborhood. Both the queen bed and sofa bed worked well for our needs.

Just the right size and close to town

We enjoyed staying at this place. We were able to walk to the old town where there are many galleries, shops, and points of interest. The "casita" was very comfortable and had a well-supplied kitchen. Having the washing machine inside was a real plus. Thank you for a great stay.

Charming, well-located casita

We enjoyed our stay in this charming adobe casita. It is in a great location -- an easy walk to the central plaza square, restaurants, churches and museums, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas. We also enjoyed morning coffee and late afternoons on the outdoor porch and fenced in garden and patio.

A true find!

The casita was warm and welcoming, well-equipped, with a great fenced backyard. The location was very convenient to many of Santa Fe's treasures. A block away was Ft. Marcy park - a wonderful destination for a swim and to take our dog for a morning walk.Hope to return in the future.

Wonderful Place in Santa Fe!

This place was wonderful! It was very convenient to walk to the plaza and Canyon Road. We enjoyed the back yard for our dog. It was also convenient to the road that leads to the mountains. Everything was provided in the place. Fantastic communication! Thank you!!

Cozy, quiet, comfortable, and so clean

Great stay in a super town. Lots to do in and around Santa Fe and the Casita is a wonderful place to relax after a day of sight seeing. The Casita had everything we needed for our two week stay. And it was fun. We got to use a red toaster and a powerful red blender. The bed was super comfy. The washer/dryer was easy to use and very convenient. We highly recommend this property.

Perfect home base

I came to Santa Fe for a workshop, and used the casita as my home base. I wanted a place that gave me a Santa Fe vibe - not a generic hotel feel. It fit the bill perfectly and I enjoyed coming home each evening and spending a little time in the garden. The location was great and the casita had everything I needed. I felt comfortable that my host would be available if I needed any help. It began to feel like home after a week, and I hated to leave!

Good Location

The location of this property was ideal. I appreciated the well stocked kitchen, the comfortable bed and the scent free linens and towels. I found the interior of the property to be very dark and depressing. The one window air conditioning unit in the living room was not sufficient to cool the entire casita. Central air conditioning and updated decor would make this a 5 star plus location.

In summer, the Casita Artista is usually a cool oasis during the heat of the day, perfect for a traditional Siesta. In winter it is a warm, cozy retreat. Our guest experienced Santa Fe during an extreme heat event all over the southwest U.S. Normal high summer temps are mid 80's during the day and mid 50's at night. The High Desert (7,000 ft above sea level) climate is dry with low humidity; we have a window AC unit in the living room, ceiling fan in the bedroom, and several free standing movable fans if needed. Because of the dry climate and high altitude, AC is rarely needed

Wonderful Week at the Casita Artista

We came to NM for business, leisure, and seeing friends from 20yrs ago. Our stay at Casita Artista helped us accomplish all of these. We were able to walk to the Plaza for dinner, shopping, meeting friends, sightseeing - only about a 10 minute walk. As a home base for hiking and exploring the NP and historical sites, the Casita was perfect - Bandelier, Los Alamos, Puye Cliff Dwellings, Rio Grande Gorge Bridge, Tsankawi - we could do these in the mornings and still be back to enjoy downtown Sante Fe. Both the Host and the local contacts were prompt in replying to any concerns. Would stay at the Casita Artista again if visiting Sante Fe again.

Because of its history and diversity, Santa Fe has attracted people who love the beauty of the high desert along with the freedom and creativity of the West. We bought this unit in 1987 and had it as a long term rental for many years. However since we wanted to have a place to stay when we visit Santa Fe, we converted it to a short term rental several years ago.

As they say in real estate, Location, Location, Location!!! We are blocks from the Plaza and Canyon Road. To explore downtown, we park the car and walk.
