Beautiful and convenient location

This is our second time staying in the loft located at Banks Hill. Absolutely love the location and convenience of this beautiful loft. It has everything we wanted and needed during our stay. I would highly recommend this property as a great couple get a way.

Perfect Location

This is a perfect location for experiencing everything San Diego has to offer. Walkable to a bunch of great neighborhoods, and in my opinion, located in one of the best places to come home to. The room itself is really nice, with an amazing view of planes coming in to land.

Lovely, walkable neighborhood with views

We had a wonderful time! The home is historic and beautiful and the attic was the perfect size for my husband and me. We walked to several attractions including Balboa Park and dinner. Check in was a breeze. We would absolutely book again!

Wonderful property smack in the middle of San Diego

The property was great and exactly as advertised. The host was always timely in responding and also had several solid suggestions and thing to do in the area. As for the location, it is within a comfortable walking distance of Little Italy and Balboa Park (2 great spots to check out)!

Zen Penthouse

Stayed over 4th of the July long weekend (4) nights. Absolutely one of the best VRBO’s we’ve ever stayed in. The Penthouse was amazing, clean, and easy to get to. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay in this area of San Diego. We’ll definitely return!

Location!

Rick's place was great for our little family. It's not baby proofed, but we kept a close eye on the kids, and they had fun. We especially enjoyed the view from the living room and watching the planes land/take off. The place is clean, well equipped, and with comfortable beds. We didn't have an issue finding parking. Would recommend!

San Diego weekend adventure

This property was beyond adorable. Perfect and quaint. Very clean, comfy bed, pillows and sheets. Good location, minutes from downtown and the zoo. Great recommendations provided by owner for restaurants. We loved the view of bay and airport. Planes flying over all day but the insulation and penthouse construction blocked 90% of the sound. So all you get is cool views of planes landing and taking off, without noise disturbance. Gave the location additional character.

Fabulous!

The Zen Penthouse is truly is a fabulous little "Gem." During my seven-night stay, I found everything I needed for a delightful experience. The well-appointed kitchen allowed me to cook many of my own meals, and the spa-like bathroom was truly wonderful - I particularly loved the large rainforest shower, complete with high-quality towels and robe. The king bed was incredibly comfortable, earning a perfect 10 out of 10 for comfort and bedding. Ricardo and his team ensured that everything was in perfect order. Looking forward to my next visit! Great location

The Apartment was suited to our needs and in a great location. The only downside side was lots of stairs for our small dogs to navigate but it worked out fine.

Historic place in a great location

My wife, son and I stayed there for a week for a wedding and to do a little golfing around the area. Our other place we had lined up for the week canceled on us 5 days prior, so we search the site and found this little gem. Honestly I think it was a better place than our first selection. The penthouse floor is a little quirky with the angled ceilings but the couch was super comfy and plenty of room in both bedrooms. Kitchen and dining areas were modern and great. Loved having the washer and dryer. I could have brought fewer clothes and just washed and reused. We brought our own washing/drying supplies but the place already had that to use. You can hear and see planes land at the airport nearby, but that was part of the charm. If the tv was on in the main room or we had the supplied fan on in the bedroom for white noise you can’t hear the airplanes. Maybe the only knock I might have on the place was the dim lighting in the bathroom. It affected my wife more than me. The location is close to a lot of attractions around the San Diego area. Overall a very pleasing place to stay!

Medical conference at convention centre

Rented the property to attend conference with young adult son and his girlfriend. Perfect space for us. Good location for us. Nice neighbourhood. Enjoyed being near Little Italy. Nice (30 minute) walk to conference centre. Easy access out of the city. Very good, clear communication from host.

Absolutely wonderful time

Easy check in, great parking and very clean. We had such a wonderful time. It's a lovely and safe neighborhood. The hot tub was a major bonus too. The house has everything you need. Also, the beds and linens are so comfortable too. Would highly recommend. Thank you again for everything!

Great Stay!

This property was lovely and also well equipped with everything we needed. The main room is more spacious than it appears in the pictures, but otherwise the pictures are accurate. It’s in a quiet residential neighborhood within easy walking distance of Balboa Park and Little Italy, and while there is some noise from the airplanes, we didn’t find it bothersome.

This place is well located, street parking not too much of a hassle, reasonably quiet given the fact that you are extremely near the airport. Nice kitchen, great view, comfortable bed, good shower.
