We have stayed at Kolea several times and it is always wonderful. 16E has all the beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, toys, snorkel gear you need.

Great location and property!

The location is quite nice, a short walk to the clubhouse/pool, the beach, and nearby shops and restaurants at King's and Queen's marketplaces. The unit was very clean and well-equipped with beach amenties (towels, chairs, snorkel equipment, etc). The community's pool was very nice, quiet, and clean.

This property is perfect for families. It was quiet (and this was amazing for how many kids we saw running around the complex & pool). It felt really safe at all hours and it was also nice being able to walk to the grocery store and a couple of coffee places, even with the kids. Will definitely be back.

Stayed here on a whim as I had some travel plans change lar minute. I was impressed with the cleanliness and condition of the condo. We used the beach and pool daily. Close to walk to shops with many options. We really enjoyed our stay!

Everything was great we had a wonderful time. One note the place needs newer and more bedding we had to purchase a set of sheets from Costco to get by.

Perfect stay at Kolea!

The Big Island has our hearts! This property was first class all the way! It was incredibly equipped with absolutely everything we needed! The pool was beautiful and so warm! Walking to A Bay was really beautiful and so convenient! The location was great as it is close by to restaurants and shopping. The views from the property are stunning! Cannot wait to return! Mahalo!

Big island honeymoon!

We absolutely loved our stay here at this condo! It had everything you need, beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards. The beach was a 5 min walk, plenty of places to walk and explore. Walking distance to all the shops near by. The condo was quiet and peaceful. The whole condo felt brand new, it was a perfect vacation and we will definitely be coming back to stay here.

Amazing condo in gorgeous location!

We had the most amazing week here in Hawaii, this condo was everything plus more! All the kitchen items you would need to cook an entire meal, prep, clean, appliances are high end, towels were provided, washer and dryer nice to have in unit. The location was perfect, short walk to beach and the famous Lava Lava Restaurant, access to private pool, small cardio gym. I wish we could have stayed longer and would not hesitate to book this again in the future.

The property is in a great location and well laid out, tastefully decorated with lots of room for guests to move around. The kitchen was fully stocked with prep supplies and appliances. Loved the outside living space, several late evenings were spent outside there star-gazing. Beach club and bay access was excellent and within short walking distance. Would definitely consider re-booking this condo for future visits to the Big Island. You won't be disappointed.

Kona Coast joy

This lovely condo embraces you as you enter. The kitchen is well stocked with all you would need to whip up a delicious meal, and the decor and furniture is comfortable and beautiful. We spent hours on our lovely balcony chatting and eating. It was a great spot in sun and rain, and we had rain on our stay. The beach is a short walk away, but we also just enjoyed walking around on the lava trails too. Thank you for a lovely stay-- and hope that the new owners will also offer it to visitors.

We enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and walkable beaches. The only suggestion is to have an adult area at the pool. Kids pool was beautiful (sandy beach and waterfall), but the families said water was too cold, so all the kiddos seem to be at the big pool. Quite loud at times. We loved the community and would return again!

Needs children’s pool

First of all, we loved our condo. It was very clean. Wanted nothing else. Bed was comfortable and showers were good. Nice to have a grill for our steaks one night. The parking was covered so it’s an added plus. Management was very accommodating. Having shops nearby very convenient. Island Gourmet Market in the Queens market place was great to buy a few essentials on way to condo. Our larger purchase was at a foodland near by This is a good place for families. The pool was always full of children being very loud. As big as this complex is, the pool was very small.Walk to the beach was OK. We cut through the back of the area to walk on the sidewalk instead of walking along the sand it took the same amount of time.

Relaxing Week

My wife and I enjoyed this condo during our stay on the Big Island. It was just as it is shown in the images. It is very nicely appointed and the kitchen is well stocked for making meals at home, and the grill on the lanai was a great addition. It also comes with all the beach goodies you need to take advantage of the nearby beach. The pool within the community is also very nice and was a great alternative when you get beached out. It is in the back end of the community and does not have a water view, which was unfortunate, but it appears that only the larger three bedroom units line the water side of this development. All in all, I would recommend this unit and would stay again.

Nice condo in the best community in Waikoloa

The building itself is at the very back of the community though still relatively close to the beach since the path to the beach is at the same side. Perhaps the biggest disappointment was no ocean view at all while somehow from the pictures we expected to have some partial view from the balcony (perhaps we just did not look close enough). Similarly, can clearly see from the picture there is no dining table on the balcony, but we somehow expected one - would be very nice to have and most of the other condos seem to have one. Otherwise a well-maintained condo (well, sheets on one of the beds had some stains hence 4 stars but we were planning to buy and use a new set from local Costco anyways). Enjoyed the grill a few times. Could not figure out how to turn on showers on the first night. :) This is the only occasion we needed to call the manager and they were immediately helpful (just pull the knobs from the wall harder :) ). Compared to some other condos we stayed before, parking is very convenient, very close and covered which makes your car not hot at all when you decide to go somewhere in the middle of the day. Also compared to some other condos, expected a bit more beach stuff like beach chairs, beach umbrella maybe, but none were in the condo.Overall, a very nice stay, we would be back though would prefer something beach front... Well, looks like most if not all beach front properties in Kolea are much bigger (4 bdrm?) so this is still a nice one.

The only recommendation I would give the owner is that it would be great to have a hard cooler in the storage area of the parking spot. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Spectacular Condo across the beach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very pleased with our vacation condo at Kolea circle. The unit was exactly as described and was well furnished with modern appliances which made our stay very welcomed. There are a few restaurants nearby and others can be visited by driving a short distance. Kolea offers a nearby beach within walking distance as well as a nearby golf course with 3 x 9 hole layout which you can mix and match. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to the Big Island.there are a few things that we would suggest however:1) The outdoor table on the Lanai could be larger so that our dinners can be enjoyed outside.2) the 2nd bedroom could be better served by adding a dresser. The existing closet organizers should be replaced.3) there were a few maintenance items that should be addressed. The shower light was burnt out and should have been replaced prior to our arrival. The TV has a line running thru the picture suggesting that it's old and need of replacement.we had an issue on our lanai that could have been dealt with immediately rather than awaiting our 3rd call.
