Located in the acclaimed Kolea community, one of the most sought-after oceanfront developments on the island, Hale Mermaid penthouse is a spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath luxury penthouse with partial views of Anaehoâomalu Bay. It is an 'end-unit' which allows light and cooling breezes from 3 sides.
You can easily walk to Kolea's private Beach Club, then directly to the sugar-sandy beach at Anaehoʻomalu Beach. The Marriott [with Luau] located right next door. Easy stroll to the King's and the Queen's outdoor upscale shopping malls and plenty of fine restaurants. Lava Lava outdoor seaside restaurant is a short walk along A-Bay. Fun spot!
The resort has direct access to ANAEHO'OMALU Beach, also known as "A Bay" which is protected from high surf by an offshore reef. It is great for swimming, snorkeling, walks along the beach and a stroll to Lava Lava Beach Club restaurant. Boat excursions start at A-Bay and equipment rentals are available from vendors on the beach. A-Bay also has restrooms, outdoor showers, drinking water and a cat sanctuary located at the entrance to the beach making this beach a gem on the Kohala Coast. We provide beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, boogie boards, etc. and beach umbrellas may be checked out at the Kolea Beach Club. Also, there are MANY golf courses nearby, fish ponds and ancient walking trails. During season be sure and watch for whales as they migrate to the islands December through April.
We have been hosting at Waikoloa Beach Resort for11+ years; VRBO PREMIER Host status with consistent *5 Star* ratings.
Our Kolea gourmet kitchen is a chefâs dream with high end stainless appliances, granite counter tops and everything you need to cook, spices as well. Open plan with 3 bar stools at the counter.

This spacious [1,544 sf plus a covered lanai] Penthouse unit is on the 3rd floor.; with an elevator. LARGE lanai with outdoor kitchen and Viking grill. The 9' patio doors slide fully open for a combo lanai & living area space. Upgraded travertine tile and acacia wood floors through-out our condo. Dining table seats 6 + seating at the counter. Wonderful, open-plan set-up.
âą King bed in master with ensuite large master bath. Dual vanities, over-sized stone
shower and large soaking tub with a sky light. Bed is carved teak wood, acacia
hardwood flooring, TV and distant view to the ocean.
âą 2nd master suite features 2 carved teak queen beds with Tommy Bahama linens,
acacia hardwood flooring and a TV. Adjoining bath is very large with dual vanities,
shower & soaking tub.
âą Penthouse has 13' ceilings. Great feeling of spaciousness, light & views.
âą Dining table and lanai table each seat 6 +3 bar stools at kitchen counter.
