Very clean, nice quiet condo, with a beautiful view.
Very easy check in, condo was accurately described, in a beautiful location. Parking was easy, neighbors were quiet and well respected. Plan on returning here soon.
Condo is a mix of old and new interiors but is clean and has a nice view. Listing says itâs pet friendly so keep that in mind because despite cleanliness youâll still find some dog hair in case thatâs a problem.
I had great weather. Fishing was great. The condo is roomy and comfortable. I disliked the TV , I am not tech savvy. I only got CBS . Overall a great condo.
My daughters and I stayed at this condo for a long weekend. The condo was very spacious and well equipped for everything we needed. There was an ample supply of extra pillows/blankets and the roll away bed was great for the kids. The kitchen was well stocked with all the supplies we needed for meals as well. And the condo was very quiet despite it being a long weekend. We will definitely be back :)
Our stay was in a 'shoulder' season. Skiing was still open on the mountain (lift prices are mind-boggling and non-refundable if they have to shut down) but other winter activities were done (skating, sledding, snowmobiling), summer activities were not yet an option and we are not skiers. Sadly for us, it was cloudy, drizzly and about 40F for the few days we were there. Mammoth Lakes is at a fairly high altitude (8000') and we could definitely feel it. In the summer Devil's Postpile Nat. Mon. and Rainbow Falls are spectacular (road scheduled to open July 3, 2025) as are all the lakes around Mammoth. The property was exactly as described and photographed. It is not 'brand new' but everything we tried was functional (TV, internet, lights, plumbing, heat, kitchen appliances), well supplied (lots of towels, blankets, pots and pans, paper towels, soap, etc.) and very clean. It is a ground floor unit with only three steps up from the parking area to the unit and it has lots of windows. The sofa sleeper was very comfortable. The things I especially appreciated were that it has bare wood floors throughout (no off-white carpet to worry about) and a beautiful view from the deck to an open area/park and the side of Mammoth mountain across the low traffic street. Since we were traveling with a large dog, that area was wonderful for walking. There are lots of dogs about. Bird watching from the deck was excellent. The free bus service all around Mammoth is a big plus for the town.
Very nice, pleasantly surprised
it was very clean and not overly decorated with Knick/knacks etc. The walkway from the door to parking had been cleared as well as the roads from the overnight heavy snow accumulation
I would have booked a longer stay but I was apprehensive booking a condo that allowed pets, but I was so wrong!
No odors and spotless ..
We very much enjoyed out stay. The location was easy and convenient to skiing and stores. The property management team was very responsive when i needed help getting the cable to the TV reconnected. Good amount of dishware and pans for cooking/eating. The only drawback was that it was extremely muddy/dirty snow outside our area that was nearly impossible not to track into the house- a larger entry rug or area to take off shoes would have been helpful.
The unit was perfect for our stay and we would definitely stay again.
Although incredibly hard to find in a snow storm and we had to trek through 2 ft of snow to get to the unit with all our stuff because the walkways hadnât been cleared, the place itself was as advertised. The bed could use an update. It creaks every time you move, the headboard bangs against the wall when you sit down and the linens are old. Other than that, great spot.
I wanted to like it because everything was great except for the bed. The top sheet had dog hair. The pillows had human hair, and the comforter had holes in them. Everything else was excellent.
Great location, well equipped condo, but not a very comfortable stay
The condo is well-located, well-equipped and was very clean...aside from the bed linens.
Shortly after arriving at the rental at 6pm, we noticed that the bed was covered in small hairs (seemed like pet hair). They were all over the sheets and comforter. I checked the extra sheets in the closet for the spare bed, and there were also hairs all over them. The property manager is unavailable after 6pm, aside from emergencies, but without any other options, I called the emergency number, and they provided a fresh set of sheets. They said they'd pick up all the bedding and return clean the next day. We were instructed to use the blankets in the closet, which were all stained/torn, but at that point I was too tired to care. The clean flat sheet provided was too small for a queen bed (didn't reach both sides), and I informed them of this the next day, but they did not provide a proper fitting flat sheet or pick up the furry bedding to wash.
In addition, the mattress was not supportive enough for two adults. My husband and I kept sinking into the center. Between the uncomfortable mattress and sheet situation, we didn't get a restful night of sleep here.
We loved the location! We appreciated the well-equipped kitchen. We enjoyed the beautiful view from the patio and the complex hot tub. We saw a coyote right outside the window! However, we will be looking for other accommodations on our next visit to Mammoth.
