Place is clean and very good location being close to everything. Just don't like all of the carpet everywhere in the condo, including the bathroom, and needs updating.
Super grateful to find a condo that allowed us to bring our dogs! Everything was clean and well maintained. Only drawback, the pullout couch being less than comfortable, but I've NEVER slept on a comfortable pullout couch, so there's that. :D
The space is small and cute, there were 3 of us but could sleep up to 6. Comfy, cozy, clean. Only complaint is the hot tub was not working and no communication on why.
We also really enjoyed walking into town, a short 5-10 minutes and we had an amazing brewery, excellent pizza, delicious noodles, a movie theater, and a bowling alley.
The location is wonderfully in the middle of it ALL! Fishing, hiking, skiing, biking & breathtaking scenery. Too many lakes to list! We enjoyed fishing at Convict, June, & Crawley lakes. We also visited Hot Creek, totally worth the time. Condo is very affordable & perfect for 4 people. I personally need a little more comfort in a mattress but thats the only problem i had. Overall i do recommend, for an affordable stay in the midst of beauty. Oh & our pet enjoyed it just as much! Thanks so much!
Hard to find property that slept 3 or 4 that was reasonable yet adequate. Thank God men don't care. The wives would have put our bags out in the snow.âčïž
Could never figure out what smelled so bad, but seemed to be coming from kitchen, was like that every time we came back to the condo right from the first time. The back slider screen was off the tracks, we just opened the door and didn't go out, so didn't notice it until we couldn't figure out where all the mosquitoes and all the other bugs were getting in. Could have been better, could have been worse. Great location for what we needed it for.
The condo was located in a great spot with a bus stop across the street to Eagle Lodge. The condo was as described and we had a good stay. My only concern is that we found pistachio shells in the pullout couch when I was making the bed for my teenage son. I also found a hair on the queen master bed. I would have complained during our stay but instead I just changed all the sheets in the condo.
Otherwise, the condo is functional, comfortable and as described. We had a good overall trip.
This place is great if you are trying to plan a Mammoth trip on a budget. The condo is very similar to the listing and looks exactly like the photos. I would recommend this place since it is a good price, the location is great, and it is pet friendly. However, this place has a couple of quirks that I wish I knew about before booking. The cleanliness of the condo is questionable. The floors had some debris on it, so I would recommend bringing socks or house slippers to wear while you are there. There was also trash left outside of the front door and we found someone's old earring on the ground in the bedroom. The bed is also questionable. The mattress is hard and springy and the pillows are flat, so I would recommend bringing your own pillows for extra comfort if you can. I would also recommend bringing an eye mask if you are a sensitive sleeper because the tv in the bedroom has a light on the bottom of it that shines directly into your eyes.
Rental managers are very responsive! Ran out of toilet paper, left for the mountain and were fully restocked when we returned.
Only two downsides we found is that there were food crumbs in the pull out bed and the windows were boarded up due to snow. The boards made you forget what time it was without any natural light coming in, but not the properties fault in anyway.
Overall, the location was fantastic and we were pretty low maintenance so the stay was smooth, the mountain was perfect, and we enjoyed ourselves 100% of the time.
Thank you so much!
The apartment was spotlessly clean. The shuttle bus stopped across the house, which was very convenient. The kitchen was well equipped with all the necessities and there was plenty of hot water for the showers.
Two reasons for only four stars (a) the car had to be parked away from the apartment in the village parking lot and the snow was not shoveled on sidewalk leading to the parking lot, so we had to walk on the road to access the car (b) the entertainment system did not work. The booking information falsely stated there was a DVD player, so we brought along some DVDs but we could not watch them because there was no DVD player. There were two CD players, neither of which worked... When we tried streaming movies using the apartment's internet connection the router shut off the computer. We ended up using our own internet hotspot, but the TV was not connected to any speakers so the sound was very weak.
