Niché dans un paysage agricole pittoresque, cet appartement moderne et meublé est une escapade idéale à 30 minutes des attractions locales. Profitez des couleurs d'automne en septembre, des promenades en charrette en octobre et des lumières et spectacles de Noël à partir de novembre. Les activités à proximité toute l'année incluent le parc Ringing Rocks, les sentiers de randonnée, l'escalade, le vélo, le patinage sur glace et les sports nautiques sur les lacs Nockamixon et Delaware. Ou vous pouvez décider de vous asseoir au bord de l’étang à koi. De toute façon, vous apprécierez votre séjour.

Great place and best hosts!

I was looking for a dog friendly place to stay and ended up with so much more! I had a family emergency which delayed my start date and Carla was superb about helping me work it out. The property is even better than the photos and I felt very safe there. I am looking for more reasons to come stay foronger soon!

Great place to stay.

This one bedroom cottage is very comfortable. We very much enjoyed our stay there for six days. The owners were fantastic and kind. You should have no worry about staying at this location. Just fantastic!

Amazing getaway!!!

We will most definitely return to Carla and Patrick's cottage! My daughter, myself and our dog had a fantastic time! The location was perfect with both ringing rocks and lake nockamixon a short drive away. The place was clean, comfortable and so relaxing!! Already planning our next trip!!

Great place to enjoy and relax

Great place that felt like home. Owner included so many special touches throughout the entire stay. All was truly appreciated by us. Loved the setting with beautiful trees, flowers and koi pond. Fenced in front was a true blessing for our dog. If ever in the area again, would definitely stay.

Memorial Day Weekend family wedding

Loved this property! My husband, myself, our two adult daughters and two corgis stayed here for a family wedding and we couldn’t have been more pleased. Carla was a great host - she gave us a tour, explained everything, and made it known she was available at anytime. The property was immaculate, well supplied and so peaceful. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer!

Lovely spring getaway

Super clean home, everything you need is provided, and it's a very spacious layout for a 1 bedroom property. Comfy furniture, good water pressure in shower and kitchen area has a built in filter for drinking. Owners are the nicest folks, very kind and willing to chat but also gave us privacy. Very accommodating, and even left us a few nice treats and flowers for Easter. Location was perfect for where we wanted to be, and we enjoyed the view of the pond right outside the window while having our morning tea. We'd love to stay again. Close to ringing rocks park and the Delaware canal/towpath, about 30 min from Allentown, Easton, Bethlehem & Doylestown.

Peaceful Respite

My husband and I spent two nights at Carla and Patrick's soothing Shangri-La and could not be more pleased. The location and particularly the setting with the blooming pink weeping cherry and koi pond right outside our door and within view of the dining table were a soothing and much needed antidote to our COVID isolation of this past year. Carla provides many more amenities than expected from a Keurig machine stocked with a large variety of coffee and tea pods to soap, shampoo, hairdryer and other essential toiletries. Carla and Patrick were available at all times for questions and friendly banter. It was easy to be in touch via email/Vrbo. We were in the area this time for a specific purpose but we do intend to return after we research other attractions. It was just too good not to return for more memories. Thank you Carla and Patrick! Exactly What We Wanted

Carla and Patrick were very accommodating with our dogs. Check in and out was easy. The place was cozy, and comfortable. The location was ideal for the two things we planned. Visit family, and explore Philadelphia and New York. Would book again.

Charming and peaceful

Carla’s place is charming, immaculate, and very comfortable. She provided written instructions, but also took the time to show us everything. We had an active trip planned, and Carla’s place was the perfect place to come back to at the end of a busy day. If we had less planned, it would have been nice just to enjoy the tranquility and lovely setting they have there.

Wonderful PA getaway

This beautiful little cottage is the perfect PA getaway. Carla and Patrick were very welcoming and helpful from the time we arrived. The cottage was immaculate and is situated in a great location, not to far from a state park for walking and from New Hope for exploring. Will definitely be back!

Clean, comfortable, well appointed.

Totally enjoyed my stay. Hosts were very accommodating, available when needed, but not at all intrusive. Ideal location for fishing Lake Nockamixon, only 12 minutes away.

Amazing Get-a-way!

Myself, my daughter, and our dog enjoyed a 2 night stay! We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back again! It was a return trip already for us, and definitely not our last. Carla and Pat are wonderful hosts and the accommodations are everything we need and more! We went to an awesome playground in Hellertown, visited the nearby Caverns, went to Ringing Rocks Park, and went for walks by Lake Nockamixon! Heading home we stopped in Lambertville. It was fun and relaxing! Thank you Carla and Pat!

Wonderful Getaway

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! It was the perfect mid-February getaway. We absolutely loved the bird feeders right outside the window. Thanks again for a wonderful time.

Great Place for a Weekday/Weekend Getaway!

Our stay at the apartment had no negatives and no demerits. It was everything described plus more. Both the apartment and the hosts are excellent! Prior to our arrival, the apartment was cleaned and disinfected, which is very appreciated given the current climate. It was clear that everything was organized, accessible, and placed to really cater to the guests. The reservation, check-in, and check-out processes were all as smooth as can be. Everything was fully functional. The living room is spacious and relaxing. The bedroom was quaint and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with coffee (which is a necessity), tea, bagels, cream cheese, etc. along with a variety of pots, pans, and utensils. Note - The nearest grocery store is about 10-15 minutes away, although it may take longer if you want to take your time and really soak in what nature has to offer. The weather was not great during our stay so we were not able to take advantage of too many activities but plan on doing so when we book again. The apartment is quiet, cozy, relaxing, and serves as a great getaway with no distractions. I would highly recommend staying here for a few days if you want/need to unplug and reset.

Qui vous reçoit ?

Vous êtes reçu par Carla Sessions

We originally moved to the area once our sons struck out on their own so we could be closer to our jobs, mine with Johnson&Johnson and my husband at a smaller company in Easton PA. Now we are both self-employed and really enjoy introducing our guests to the simple charms of our peaceful surroundings, which is mostly preserved farmland with lakes, rivers, campgrounds, state and county parks close by. We've traveled all around the world and seen some incredible places, but when we come home, we have to admit that where we live is one of the most beautiful of all.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We were drawn to the area because of its natural charm, quiet roads, close proximity to lakes and rivers. We wanted a larger plot of land to do a little gardening, have plenty of room for our dogs and a little slower pace of life. We love it here.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We chose this place because of it being ideally situated between several preserved farmland parcels. Our acreage offers considerable privacy with no neighbor in line of sight. The air is fresh and roads quiet at night. Neighbors will wave and stop to say hello on their evening walks, but are never prying or unpleasant. We have two koi ponds on the property and mature shrubs and trees, oak, weeping willows, evergreens and maples. It is a peaceful, pleasant place to walk, hike and cycle, where nature, wildlife and people mutually exist in harmony.
