beautifully appointed condo

This condo was perfect for our beach getaway! On the second floor (one flight of stairs) with a beautiful front porch overlooking the saltwater marsh, and right across from the neighborhood tennis/ pickleball court, the condo was spacious for our family of 4. It was a quick walk to the public beach access or to the Starbourd beachfront pool and beach access. The kitchen had everything you would need for cooking a meal, and the beds were comfortable. Sheila was a wonderful host - very responsive to questions and made us feel like we were staying at a friends' place. We look forward to coming back for our next getaway and highly recommend this condo!

Family vacation

We go to Ocean Isle every summer and always stay in this complex. This condo is one of the nicest we have stayed in. It's renovated and the kitchen is much more spacious than other units. We also love being directly on the sound and the view! Would stay here again without question!

Great view and great property

We loved our stay at this property. The amenities were nice; we swam and played pickleball daily. We loved sitting on the porch watching the sunset over Jinks Creek.

Great retreat

We loved staying at Mamma Mia! There is literally nothing I could have asked for better - we did have some issues with WiFi being slow or not working, and Sheila and Alex dropped off a WiFi extender for the apartment! In the meantime, it was wonderful to be able to be unplugged and not have a reason to use a screen. Alex and Sheila were so kind, very responsive, and fast. We also requested a late checkout the day of, and they had no problem allowing us time to leisurely go out. My husband and I went with two other couples and it was exactly the perfect size for us. My favorite part was the fully stocked kitchen. Not with food but with plates, pans, knives, spices… anyone who has stayed at other rental properties might have run into an instance of using one of three knives provided for food prep, and it is more dull and useless than a plastic butter knife. This kitchen was STOCKED. I love cooking, so that was genuinely a highlight for me 😂 The location is perfect. It is very easily walkable to the beach. Maybe a 4 minute walk…. With a view of the waterway (dolphins seen in the morning!) Without the ocean front prices! 10/10 recommend this place.

Great place!

Really great stay at Mamma Mia! So cute and super cozy. Nice clean pools and short walk to the beach. Everything we needed was there and there are stores and restaurants very close by. Thank you Shelia and Alex! We will be back!!

Great views

A great place for our family in a perfect location. We ate every meal out on the deck watching the wildlife at the creek and the sunsets were amazing. Loved the pools and the convenience of having the beach a small walk away. Owners had great communication with us during our stay.

Family Vacation

We had a fantastic time in Ocean Isle. The condo was very clean and well furnished. The view of Jinks Creek was wonderful and the walk to the beach was short and easy. The kids enjoyed the tennis courts, pool, and fishing from the docks behind the condo. Thank you for letting us rent your place! We hope to be back again!

School Spring Break vacation and a Wedding

Loved this vacation! Property was fantastic, perfect for our group of 4 - 2 teens and 2 moms. Location was wonderful, quiet and peaceful. Loved the sunsets on the front porch overlooking the marsh. Close and quick walk to beach, 2 pools, one oceanfront. Property owner was great to work with.

Spring Break Family Trip

This was our families first trip to the area, and was positively outstanding. Thank you for sharing your amazing home. Such a beautiful, peaceful spot. We had lots of laughs, new adventures, adored the beach and abundance of nature. The condo was perfect for our family. The decor, cleanliness, comfort, and convenience made it one of our favorites now! We definitely will be back to visit again and would recommend this hidden treasure. Perfect combo

Perfect for 2 families of 4! Loved that we could fish and use the pool on days when we needed a beach break. Alex, the owner greeted us when we arrived and we very helpful. Thanks for a great stay!

Family Vacation

The property was beautiful with even better views. Very easy access to the pool and beach. We needed a special accommodation and they were more than willing to meet our needs. We can’t say enough about the place from cleanliness to location. Also the beach storage closet was a nice feature. Would HIGHLY recommend staying there.

OIB in love with Starboard by the Sea

This was our 2nd year in a row at Starboard by the Sea! This unit was perfection! It was beautifully decorated inside, very clean and welcoming. We had everything we needed from bed linens and towels to a fully stocked kitchen and all the beach gear from chairs and an umbrella to the beach cart to haul it all on the short walk to the beach. Alexa was a nice touch, providing our island soundtrack for the week! We rented a 2 person kayak and took it out right off the “backyard” dock, every chance we could. The sunsets do not disappoint! Sheila and Alex were lovely! We hope to be back next year!!

This has been in our family for 20 plus years. This is where our kids learned to swim and crab and surf. My mother passed away, last year so in honor of her memory we named the Condo Mamma Mia. We live in Conway, so we enjoy coming here as often as possible. We take pride and want our guests to feel special too. To have a relaxing and comfortable experience. We have incredible sunsets on the docks.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We love having the best of both worlds. Being on the intercoastal waterway, watching the birds and other wildlife. With several docks to fish and crab
Or take a kayak or jet ski from. We just learned to play pickle ball. So, the tennis courts are right in front of the condo. And we have a pool very close by. And another one that is oceanfront. We have locker with beach toys and chairs.
