This rental is a solid 3 stars and barely that. Despite the host asking for 5 stars, he just did not provide a 5 star experience…not even close. I would give fewer stars but the 3 stars are for space, location, and cleanliness and a comfortable bed.1. The host asks for no shoes in the house but there is a film on the carpet that feels like too much carpet freshener was used.2. The house was virtually empty of any extra linens or comfort items. No extra pillows, blankets, and only ONE towel provided per guest. The beds had cheap college dorm style comforters, not what was pictured. 3. The AC was minimally functional for most of our stay. The host insisted that the temp was 65-68 in the house, but the house was muggy and HOT. No ceiling fans or other fans were provided. Luckily we were only there to sleep but we literally slept on top of the sheets for the first few nights and bought our own fans for the other nights. 4. The home had NOTHING besides a few dish pods, a few DECAF coffee pods, and a few rolls of toilet paper. NO paper towels, no soap, shampoo, conditioner, no laundry soap despite being provided the bare minimum of towels. The fridge didn’t even have filtered water. No fans. 5. Backyard is nothing like pictured and just patchy grass. The glass door that opens to the back yard has no extra security bar besides a flimsy sliding door lock. This was overall the most impersonal stay I have had in over a decade of using various rental sites.
