This guest had it in for me the moment they arrived as she tried to cancel two days before a 9 day reservation and wanted a full refund due to wildfire smoke in the area. She was coming from an area whose AQI was worse than ours, we had no closures of any kind and it was business as usual all over town. I didn't feel a refund was justified at that point. She then tried to get a 50% refund and still utilize the reservation which I did not honor. It is not our fault she chose not to insure her reservation so she was at liberty to cancel for a refund. She agreed to the cancellation policy upon booking. She just did not like it when she decided she did not want to come. The things she listed in this review are a blatant attack and mostly lies. I did have to replace a modem to repair the internet which was done promptly and efficiently. It was down due to repower after a power outage out of our control. The lights she speaks of is also not true. The singular lamp that wasn't working was also replaced due to a faulty switch while she was there. She came to make our lives hell after she was not granted her refund wishes upon changing her mind about her vacation and this is clearly a blatant attack on us. Refer to other reviews for clarity. The dock has boat whips to moor boats away from the dock, it is not my fault if she chose not to use them...also the dock is concrete tiles and less than 5 years old and the deck is trex in great shape. I do not recommend renting to this person.
