Maison au bord du lac sur le bras sud avec des améliorations à gogo! 3 chambres king size, une chambre pleine grandeur, 2 salles de bain, 2 cuisines, salon et salle à manger plus buanderie. Savourez votre café du matin dans notre nouvelle section extérieure 2018 ou les soirées autour du foyer ou utilisez simplement la tour de propane pour l'ambiance. Entièrement équipé et prêt pour vos vacances en famille. Cet espace est également idéal pour les couples en raison des espaces séparés de niveau supérieur et inférieur. Profitez d'une promenade dans le centre-ville d'East Jordan ou à quelques minutes en voiture de Boyne Mountain, Boyne City et du centre-ville de Charlevoix. En hiver, profitez de la motoneige avec le début du sentier en haut de la route ou du ski de fond sur le lac.

Excellent home on a great lake

We had an amazing time at this wonderful property in East Jordan directly on the water. Elyse was a great and accommodating host for my family to come and have relaxing and enjoyable vacation. She gave us additional insight to the area and events occurring the week of our trip. I would recommend the place to anyone that wants to spend time in East Jordan

Elyse thought of everything. Took every precaution for COVID. House was completely updated.

My entire family had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The attention to detail of having all the things you need was amazing. It far exceeded what we were expecting. Having two levels of a house and two kitchens really made things work. The access to the lake was fantastic.

Awesome Vacation!

We had such an amazing time on Lake Charlevoix. The property was wonderful—clean, had all the amenities we’d need, and a great location. You can tell a lot of TLC has gone into making this property what it is. While the 2 other units condo’d with this property are in close proximity, the owners were so friendly and accommodating too. Elyse communicated with us throughout the stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this property!

Perfect for family!

This was our second time staying at this property because it was perfect for us the first time. The owner anticipated all our needs and also had a high chair for the baby. The house is very clean and contains everything you would need (except food, haha). The view is beautiful and peaceful; the fire pit perfect for those cool evenings; deck is large enough for all and safe for little ones. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful home and host

One of the reviewers mentioned the traffic noise but we live close to an expressway so the noise didn't bother us at all and is to be expected since this is on a busy highway. The beds were so comfortable, this is the first time no one has complained about their mattress! LOL This was centrally located and enabled us to hit all the areas we wanted like Petoskey, Traverse City, Mackinaw Island, Charlevoix, etc.. Excellent communication with Elyse. Thank you for letting us stay!

Perfection! Would highly recommend!!!

What a lovely charming and well-maintained summer home! My husband and I stayed for with our dog Junior and we would absolutely re-book. The home is incredibly well stocked with anything that you need for your stay, you just need groceries which can easily be picked up at the grocery store in East Jordan, or at the Meyer just 20 minutes away in Petoskey. Everything was impeccably well cleaned and organized. Location is centrally located for day trips to many surrounding areas. Host is incredibly responsive and quick to respond to any questions regarding check in or anything needed during our stay. Wonderful!!!

Location. Water. Space.

Had a great time on the South Arm of Lake Charlevoix. House has plenty of bedrooms to give space, while also having that larger gathering space whether in or out of the house (large back deck / multi tiered or 2 different floors with living rooms). Elyse was a great communicator keeping us updated on what to expect and when we were ready to check in. Clean. Fully stocked. And close to everything. Thanks so much.

Perfection!

I can’t say enough about this experience. It was the first time spending a Christmas “at home” since I moved away 10 years ago. This home was the absolute perfect place to be able to enjoy every moment! Having 2 kitchens, and 2 separate living rooms was beyond convenient, the 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are beautiful and the HUGE fluffy bath towels were icing on the cake! We have a small dog, and the dog run was so safe and secure. The lake views are amazing! Elyse was so responsive, and caring, and made everything perfect. We can’t wait to return in the summer!!

Wonderful week on Southern Arm

We had a wonderful week in the Charlevoix area. This was our first time staying in the area - and was a great cottage to start us off!!! Elyse, our host, had mentioned we would have front row seat to East Jordan’s fireworks show on our first night there down by the water! She was right we had great seats and saw a great fireworks show!!! What s way to kick off the week. The cottage was lovely - well stocked with things you could think of and wouldn’t think of needing. For instance we always forget our portable speakers - but we were covered with one that was there and available!! It was our go to entertainment to the afternoons and nights spent on the deck playing Golf the card game! Half way through we all commented on the sheets and towels - and a quick check in with Elyse had us promising to head to Costco upon our return to pick up some new towels and sheets! It was a lovely week - great location to head to so many spots and take in northern Michigan! We had everything we needed to cook and have fun! Thank you Elyse for making our first stay in the Charlevoix area so memorable!!!

Fall Getaway

We had a wonderful September visit to East Jordan! Our host was very responsive to all of our questions and made the check in and checkout process very easy! The house was fully stocked with any kitchen items you may need during your stay. The home has beautiful views from both levels of the lake! Some previous reviewers had said they didn’t realize there were two smaller homes within close proximity to this rental. However, they were off to the side and did not block the view of the lake. Also, they’re not primary residences so for most of the week there was no one nearby! In regards to docking a boat, be aware that you can only dock a pontoon. However, there is a public boat launch within 1/2 mile of the home and we were able to rent a boat slip at the marina for the week (1.5 miles). There is also a sandy beach by the boat launch as well! The interior/exterior of the house is very well maintained! The bottom floor has recently been renovated with a more modern feel, however, the top floor is also very nice! This is a great rental if you are traveling with 2 families as there is plenty of private space if needed as well as areas to all be together! The outdoor living space gives you lots of options as well for outdoor dining/lounging and a very nice fire pit!

House was great but there was a bit of a surprise

Overall, we enjoyed our visit. The house was great - we spent most of our time downstairs because it's newly renovated - and it is indeed right on the lake. The owner was kind enough to take her boat off the lift and we were able to rent a boat right down the street at Swan Valley Marina. However, when we entered the house and walked out to the back deck, we were met with quite a surprise. The house sits in the middle of two lots and right behind the house (toward the lake) are two smaller cottages that are only about 20 feet from the rental house. They are owned by two other individuals the owners have created a "condo association" to make decisions, etc. We only encountered one of the other owners and they were very nice but you are in very close proximity to these other cottages. You have a straight line view of the lake but the side view is blocked by these other homes AND you have neighbors that are literally right out your door. Again, we really enjoyed the home and the lake but just be aware. If the other two families had been there the entire time, in my opinion, it would have been too close for comfort and I don't think we would have enjoyed it.

Wow

I knew this was going to be awesome from the start with how responsive the owner was. She listed off tons of things that were provided and eased my worry with having to pack up my whole house to stay here. This house had EVERTHING provided. Toilet paper and paper towels for the whole week, paper plates, Ziploc bags, foil, laundry soap....you name it. We stayed in the downstairs part the whole time and it was the most comfortable and cozy VRBO I have ever rented. The fireplace and walk-in closet were a nice touch and the set up was perfect for me, my husband, and our two dogs. We got lucky with having no neighbors, which might have been awkward with the closeness of the two smaller cabins. The firepit (wood provided) and outdoor heater (propane provided) were great on chilly nights. The location of the house was perfect for taking day trips to nearby towns. The only con about this house is the closeness to the street. It is on a busy street with cars going 50 mph. It might just be this time of year, but if you’re looking for a quiet morning/evening to relax outside, you might not get a chance. That didn’t spoil our time, and we knew we weren’t going to be in the middle of the woods, so overall it wasn’t a game changer. The owner was awesome and I would definitely recommend this rental.

A slice of heaven

This is the most peaceful and convenient home. We were so excited to stay here again, we rented this home over Christmas break and it was a winter wonderland! Staying here in the summer was just as amazing!! The backyard is your own piece of quiet. My family spent so much time in the lake and hours outside making s’mores over the bonfire, and grilling out every night. The amenities are always beyond expectations! Can’t wait to book with Elyse again!!! She’s so friendly and always available to help if I had any questions or needed anything! Thank you again!!

Relaxing Oasis for Families

This property is clean and well maintained. Great outdoor living space to eat and relax outside. Dock provides a great launching area for paddle boards! Quiet area, close to places we wanted to see, yet out of the hustle and bustle when we wanted to relax. Neighbors were friendly, helpful, and unobtrusive…neighboring properties did not obscure our lake view or limit access.

Beautiful view and wonderful accommodations!

Very pleased that we choose this home for our vacation! The view of the water is beautiful. Lots of seating out back to enjoy the view and cooling breeze. Lovely front yard to greet you. The house was exceedingly clean & maintained top notch. Nice & comfortable furniture inside & out. Kitchen well stocked with quality pot/pans etc. for cooking. The owner obviously cares about their property and their quests. Thank you for the big soft bath towels....the little things make a difference!!

Great getaway!

The host was wonderful - personal bags of things for the house that were brand new to take extra precaution of Covid. Elyse was very responsive with any questions we had! Property was nicely updated and the deck was beyond amazing! Will definitely rent here again!
