Mostly wonderful
The location of this property is fantastic. Easily in walking distance to get to the slopes and Main St. Only complaints were some small inconveniences in the room — like no working bedside lights and other inoperable switches.

Great location at the base of peak 9. Walkable location to Main Street in Breckenridge. Would stay at location again. The boot and ski storage is fantastic.

Amazing location
This was the perfect size for the two of us. The front office staff was very friendly and the check in process was easy. It was great having a parking garage spot. The pool wasn’t open, but they gave us access to a pool and hot tubs at another location! It is so close to walk to Main Street! Only suggestion would be to get a new blanket and hair dryer. The blanket was stained and quite old. The hair dryer had wires showing. But I would definitely stay here again!

Great Location!
This was a great location! We were able to rent skis in the building and store them there overnight. Easy walk to the ski lift. Condo was clean and had everything we needed. Would stay here again.

This room was perfectly located within Breckenridge with a great view of the mountains and the lake. It was very clean and had all of the amenities needed. The manager was very accommodating with our situation since our flight was delayed multiple times. Will definitely stay again!

Location, Location, Location
This is the second time we have stayed in this studio condo at Peak 9 in Breck. It is the most affordable and perfectly located condo on the mountain. Ski in and out and use of all the amenities, this is a perfect get away for two. We took advantage of the fitness center this time - great facility. And you walk into town!! highly recommend.

Perfect location!
We absolutely loved our stay! The location couldn’t have been better. Everything was easily within walking distance, but we didn’t hear much noice from our room. Restaurants, shops, ski rental. Such a fun time enjoying all Breckenridge has to offer.

Property was amazing and very close to Peak 9 and right in the middle of downtown. The view from our balcony was amazing and we met a lot of nice people in the properties 4 hot tubs. We will definitely book this condo again.

Super comfortable and convenient!
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Oliver’s place for a long ski weekend. The condo was comfortable and had everything we needed. The amenities were a huge plus, and it was so incredibly easy to pop on and off the slopes. We loved not having the hassle of parking or hiking to the slopes with all of our gear. The walk to town is quick and convenient. We felt like we had everything we needed just steps away. Oliver was kind enough to accommodate an early check in so we could drop our stuff and get a full day on the slopes. We will definitely be recommending this place and plan to return next year!

Great location, would stay again!
We’ve stayed at this property before though the hotel, and love the convenience! Kept the rental car parked all week, easy walk to chair lift, kids ski school, and Main St for shopping, restaurants and entertainment.
Saw a review about limited toiletries and will say, this is a VRBO first with some hotel amenities like nightly happy hour (hot chocolate bar, pool, games, etc) but you don’t get daily cleanings or towel refresh. When we needed towels refreshed, I contacted the owner and he was very responsive. Top floor unit with vaulted ceiling makes room feel a bit bigger and view looks out at mountain.

Recent ski trip
When I was looking for a place to stay, I was looking for a hotel. This popped up as a listing through Expedia. I was surprised to see that this is not a hotel, but it is a Marriott owners resort. So things did not run like a normal hotel. By default, housekeeping did not come by. It is unclear how good the cleanup is as we found two worn out T-shirts inside of one of the drawers. They did serve a breakfast every morning, but it was a very limited offering. The best thing about this resort is the location. It’s hard to beat a short walk to the Quicksilver lift. There even is a ski rental at the bottom floor of the resort as well. The view from the window was amazing also.

Recently got back from our stay at Warriors Mark. Overall, the property manager was great, he was very responsive and quickly addressed any issues that arose. For example, when we checked in there was no remote control for the TV so he made sure to resolve the issue in a timely manner.
Fact of the matter is the property is extremely dated, and it is apparent this is used as a source of income for the owner…there was zero pride of ownership.
The towels are flimsy, carpet was absolutely filthy, kitchen wasn’t stocked at all, pillows must’ve been 10 years old, and things overall were just very cheap.
Location was great, you were a short distance to the lifts, and parking was a breeze.
Although the property manager was pleasant, we will not be returning.

Location is perfect. On the end of Main Street so you can walk to everything, including the free shuttle stops if you’d prefer to shuttle. View of the mountains and overlooking Maggie’s pond was phenomenal. Some minor upkeep needed (missing outlet cover, missing drawer pulls, dripping bath faucet unless on “shower” mode, etc.). Also, could have been cleaner. We found trash wrappers and old vitamins(?) on the carpet so it was a quick vacuum/pick up job where things were missed or overlooked. Missing cooking spray and other basic spices you typically find in a property of this nature with a full kitchen, but we were able to figure things out with what we brought from home or just went without. Bring your own pillow if you like a supportive cushion-pillows are the cheap hotel pillows that offer little to no support, but the bed itself was comfortable. It does get warm in the afternoons without AC, but the fans in the closet and the breeze at night made it comfortable. The amenities and location for the affordability of this property far outweigh any of the minor inconveniences.

I have stayed a few times at the Marriott Mountain Valley Lodge and returned because it is in general a great property and location. The owner seems like good person. I had missed payment deadline because I forget. I immediately paid. But owner was cool for not cancelling.
Albeit, the owner should consider paying the Marriott to service the unit rather than trying to save some $ and manage it himself. The unit was not as up to the standards that the Marriott managed units are based on my previous experience. Here are the reasons.
- I am working professional and have always used the room safe for my work devices when staying at MMVL. The owner has it locked or unusable.
- White comforters did not appear clean and were yellowish. Concerns about the rest of the sheets and covers.
- Two small bars of soap and one small shampoo. No backup stock. Marriott was nice enough to give some.
- One of the two closet doors didn't open.
- Missing electrical plate on wall socket.
- Humidifier had old water in it.
- Attempts to communicate through VBRO messaging with manager or owner never received responses.
Overall, unit has great bones, great high floor views and the MMVL is one of the best buildings in Breck near town and lifts IMO. So I would book this unit again over other options in town if you do not need more space. But if a unit managed by Marriott were available, I would book those first. Maybe owner should consider paying Marriott to manage/maintain the unit.

Nice location, not as expected
This is a nice hotel , they do keep it clean . But renting from owner is different. Oliver does not answer through app only if you call or text direct ! .
The pool as jacuzzi were great after skiing. Main Street is walking distance . Ski lifts are five min walk .
As for the unit .
The bed is good for one person . It is a small queen. The couch is a futon that is not very comfortable. The extra blankets and sheets were all dirty and had blood stains on them . I don’t believe they the blankets or pillows are washed . We had to go out and buy a blanket because the one on our bed was full of blood stains .
The kitchen it not equipped: I was told we would have tea and coffee and none of that was provided . If your planning to cook forget about it as it has no seasonings . The cock wear is terrible and you get only one fry pan that is old and using kitchen utensils.
The bathroom wasn’t cleaned good at all . We wipe everything down with Lysol . We were given one small cheap bar of soap and shampoo and conditioner. If you are listing for a unit for four people that is not enough.
Towels were dirty hotel was kind enough to provide us with some after they seen what was in our room.
Outside noise from intoxicated people throughout the night by the door . Not owners fault but was an issue when you try to get sleep .
Overall - if you want to ski it’s a nice spot but I would stay with more than two people in this room . Also bring your own towels and soaps etc.
