Location was perfect, property was clean, updated, comfortable and private. It was exactly what I expected based on photos and reviews and better than expected re:location.
The property was wonderful. The place was very clean and had everything you would need. The easy access to the bus stop and the ability to walk to town was an added bonus. I would definitely stay here again.
Great location. As advertised in website. It would have been nice to have local and more channels available on TV. College Football Playoffs were on. We had to watch on a small iPhone.
This is a great location. We walked to restaurants and bars every evening. The stairs to the bedroom are steep, but the place is very updated and clean.
Being as we went in October, easy access to Crested Butte Elk avenue was essential. Perfect location at the end of Elk. We could cruise the entire area!
The bungalow is very nicely appointed and very clean. My wife and I were there for our anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is in a great location - close to shops and restaurants - and within easy driving distance from all the hiking trails, which was exactly what we were looking for. Would highly recommend it.
We enjoyed the proximity of this rental to the activities and restaurants downtown. I didnt expect the steep stairs to the bedroom, but we were stronger at the end of our 4 night stay. The kitchen was wonderfully equiped. The livingroom could use a new couch!
The location and property were ideal for a weekend getaway. The property management was easy to deal with and everything was incredibly new, nice and clean. I would absolutely go back!
The property is located 1/2 block off of elk ave. The location could not have been better. We loved being able to just walk to the restaurants and stores and enjoy the farmer's market and art fair.
Loved this place! It might be my favorite rental so far in CB and we are there most years for a week of skiing. Walking around the corner to Elk Street restaurants was great. It's close to the ski area shuttle. The place is well equipped and dedicated off-street parking is wonderful. If I were going to wish for anything on this property it would be for an outside locking gear cabinet for skis or whatever, since they are not allowed inside.
Beautiful, modern, clean home in great location to downtown Crested Butte. I highly recommend this property. There is a steep staircase so if mobility issues are a problem this may not be the place for you. Otherwise itâs exactly how itâs portrayed in itâs listing.
The property is well-designed and well-equipped, the only drawback being the steep stairs up to the comfortable bedroom. We loved being on the creek, going to sleep to the sound of rushing water. Being in the heart of town was terrific for walking to restaurants and the grocery store and easy access to Kebler Pass for hiking.
We really enjoyed our long weekend in crested butte, especially given the great location of the house. We could easily walk to any of the downtown restaurants and to the shuttle for heading up to the mountain. We will definitely use this place again!
One heads up to future renters the stairs headed to the second floor are pretty steep so I wouldnât recommend this place for anyone with mobility challenges. There is however a Murphy bed and a really comfortable couch downstairs that could accommodate those folks.
My wife and I stayed in this Coal Creek property for 6 nights in late March with our pets. The property is compact but very well designed. Everything is there, even laundry. The location is fantastic, just a half block off of Elk Ave. We are seniors but in good shape. The only thing that seniors or renters with children might not appreciate from the pictures is that the stairs up to the bedroom are very very steep. As I say, no problem for us, just be aware. Just a suggestion for the host: With a bakery as good as The Breadery (fantastic sourdough ... and we are from San Francisco) just down Elk, you need a real serrated bread knife. Don't want to maul the goods! Again, love the place. Love the unit. Love the location. Love the town. Hope to be back soon.
I/2 block from Elk Ave. Car parked during 30â snow storm over a couple days. Walked everywhere and took shuttle up mtn. Solid modern construction, with excellent heat, double pain windows. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Off street parking. Had everything you needed for a relaxing getaway. Management company, Alpine Getaways very responsive. Highly recommend this gem.
