Free Wi-Fi. Sorry, no pets allowed in this unit and no smoking, please. Sleeps four.
Overall this is a nice place to stay. The deck was wonderful to have coffee in the morning. I was a little shocked there was a bird house above the chairs, my father recieved an unpleasent dropping while he was sitting on the deck. The cabin is cozy but the bathroom and bedrooms were tighter than expected. We had to leave our luggage outside of the rooms because there was very little space, would recommended having two full beds and take out the queen. I enjoyed the view of the mountains so much from the deck, this was my favorite part. I also liked it was the cabin farthest from the road, made the mornings and evening peaceful. The AC struggled with the July temps. We left the windows open in the evening. Overall would recommend for 2 adults and 2 young children. Would be too small for 4 adults. Place was was clean and conviently located to both downtown Estes and the Park.
Spent a few days exploring Rocky Mountain National Park and this was in the perfect spot for easy access to the Park. It's close enough to town but has everything we needed very close. We also got several visits from a Mule Deer and her baby. Each morning and evening they would come close and one night came right up next to the window . They cabin had everything we needed. It was a little tight for the 4 of us but perfect for just a few nights.
Quaint little cottage up on top of a hill. Parking is somewhat limited but not an issue for just one vehicle. On calling to check out, we had some difficulty getting a hold of the front desk but this could have also signal or tech issues. Very close to RMNP. Highly recommend!
Nice cabin. This cabin had the best (most private) location of all of the cottages. Nice view, large deck. Had everything we might need with the exception of extra bedding (which would have been nice for one of our guests who wanted to sleep on the couch.) minutes from park entrance and minutes from town (although I would not consider it walkable to in-town).
My cousin and I rented this cabin for a couple days and it was just perfect. It is a tight space but you donât need much when you spend most of your time enjoying the town and the park. Itâs in a perfect spot just out of town and mere minutes from one of the park entrances and a few minutes more the other direction to downtown. Itâs quiet at night and the view watching the sun rise over the mountains across the road canât be beat so make sure to make time for that! We had plenty of critters stop by during our stay including a whole herd of elk who after bugling to let the others know whoâs in charge, bedded down not 20 yards away. It was INCREDIBLE. The host was able to give us recommendations for groceries and restaurants so do not be afraid to ask questions like that, they were wonderful. Easy check in and check out process. Again, itâs a small space, please keep that in mind for the bathroom and bedrooms, and the small set of stairs leading up to the door (as advertised) but otherwise, would 100% stay here again!
3 of us stayed 4 nights for a family vacation. Perfect size cabin for 3 people. The dirty/clean linen exchange service was much appreciated and was perfect for our needs! My husband enjoyed relaxing on the deck while our adult daughter and I explored the park.
One point of constructive criticism regarding the shower : the addition of a small swivel ball adaptor or similar curved piece of pipe that would allow users to point the stream of water straight downward would greatly benefit short people with this small and inexpensive upgrade (Currently, the water hits short people in the face).
The hot water was available almost instantly. Beds were comfy and kitchen had most everything we needed. Wifi worked well for our needs. Highly recommend this location for couples or small families. We enjoyed our stay.
Just outside the hustle of the dowtown, this 2BR just above the immediate surroundings with a private deck serves up a slice of solitude.
Completely furnished, Clean, no detail overlooked or forgotten.
Immediately across the street is a market with Everything.
Thanks!
We stayed at the cabin while visiting RMNP. The location is fabulous - very close to the park entrance. Although it is located on a busy road, the cabin was quiet and serene with great views from the deck. We also walked out one evening to three deer eating the grass and leaves right outside the cabin! The cabin is on the smaller side but was perfect for me and my husband and had everything we needed.
Unfortunately, we had an issue with the gas heater not working properly and causing a strong odor of gas in the cabin a couple of days into our stay. Both maintenance and the emergency line employee were super responsive and we were immediately moved to another cabin. The situation was very well handled. Despite that hiccup, we had an amazing stay and would return to the Lazy R Cottages.
the deck. The cabinenough room fir m
Place is definitely small but was okay for the 3 of us. My son is 6'3 so shower and bathroom in general was a tight fit. Great for a family of 4 with smaller children. I would have liked to have some type of outdoor light on the deck but the view was great and a perfect spot for morning coffee with the sparrows nesting in the box on the deck, the raven chatting in the pine tree and the hummingbirds at the feeder! Lots of fans available to move air thru the cabin. There is AC but in this heat we have had it had difficulty keeping up. The fans were a big help!
This property is not only close to the park (we made it to the bear lake entrance before 5 am leaving the cabin at 4:45) but itâs also within walking distance to a gas station with an amazing deli and delightful ice cream parlor! We didnât see any bear near the cabin but there was a deer next to the parking area when we arrived our last night. This was a perfect size cabin for my husband and I and our boys (15 and 12) and we had everything we needed for a trip to RMNP
Everything was good, but it is tiny. Internet is spotty. AC is not very good. But things did work. Nice small cottage. Would not recommend for a big family
