New Beginnings est un lieu de villégiature ou tout simplement une escapade pour le plaisir et la détente. Il se trouve dans la ville de Prominence, également appelée "Le Hub". Le Hub est à distance de marche de la propriété. C'est un endroit idéal pour le divertissement, la nourriture, la location de vélos et le shopping. Le Hub a également un amphithéâtre en plein air.

Gulf Lakes: Access est un accès de Walton County Beach situé à environ 0,5 km à l’est de Prominence. Ceci est un petit accès et pourrait être manqué. Le stationnement n'est pas disponible, mais l'accès aux vélos est facile. Sea Breeze est un accès à la plage du comté de Walton qui fait partie de l'accès au Gulf Lakes. Parking et salles de bains ne sont pas disponibles.

Accès à la plage vers l'ouest: Deer Lake est l'accès le plus populaire et le plus proche de Prominence. Il se trouve à 0,5 km. Bien qu'il soit populaire, il y a quelques points à retenir (environ 3 $ pour le stationnement). La promenade du parking à la plage est un peu plus longue que la plupart des zones.

Great Experience!

We absolutely loved our experience at New Beginnings! We had never been to the 30A area before and found the Holomon’s location to be perfect to all amenities. They have installed a Bluetooth thermostat and we were very comfortable. It was a great first beach trip for our one year old daughter and we will be back!

six days of sunshine and fun!

We had a great time this week. The rental was very nice and the location was convenient to everything . We have told our family and friends about the house and looking forward to Returning next year. There are two things we would like to see next year basic cable and an ice maker. Looking forward to our next stay! Thank you Bill

Weeklong stay @ New Beginnings

The neighborhood/community is great. The home is cute. The interior is nice. Community pools are nice. The Hub is awesome. However, I feel like I paid a lot more than I should have. Here’s why… Pictures aren’t updated. The garage doesn’t have a sofa or chairs. You will either have to relax by sitting on the bed or at the table. There was a mattress propped in the garage. Additionally, the bed only had a fitted sheet on it and the comforter, with 3 pillows. Bed is hard. Pillows are stiff. When asked the owner about the sheets, she said based on the duration of our stay, it only warranted a fitted sheet and comforter. That was never disclosed when renting the place. Granted, she offered to get an additional sheet mid week but at that point, was more an inconvenience. Check in was smooth. Place was clean. Would love to have given it more stars but couldn’t. We compared this place to some in the Rosemary area which were comparable in price. We wished we had gone with the others since the amenities in the unit weren’t as pictured 100%. Also, there is a long term tenant upstairs with a small which you could hear late at night and early morning. The owner did make us aware of this a few days prior to our arrival, which at that point gave us no options to look elsewhere.

Week Stay - Working Vacation

My stay started off great, the host was very helpful and accommodating. I arrived at night while it was raining, and she made sure I was able to get into the property without any issues. Unfortunately, as the week went on, my experience with the property and the host diminished quickly. As a part of the listing online, they include pictures of the garage space, so one would assume this was a part of the property available, but this is INACCURATE. The host let me know that they would be in the garage multiple times during the week, and indicated that this was completely acceptable because 'technically the garage is not part of the property listed'. I was also interrupted for an entire day because they had a contractor coming into the property to work on soundproofing the unit. I had to rearrange my entire day to accommodate this, and they never showed up. The unit is EXTREMELY noisy, and you can hear everything happening in the unit above. The host became very rude in communications and would call and/or text multiple times a day, made no arrangements to mitigate the issues of space invasion as mentioned above. It became a very uncomfortable stay at the end, and I left a night early because of this. The wifi is terrible, went out completely at one time (this was fixed promptly, however). Bottomline: the host was very difficult to deal with, extremely noisy unit, and the listing is inaccurate and does not reflect the reality of what is offered. It is a nice unit but I would not recommend it.

Perfect for a get-away

This is a perfect property for a couple-cute and cozy. As been mentioned before be aware that the upstairs is rented as well. Our upstairs guests had two toddlers who loved to run constantly. Thankfully we are beach bums and spent most of our time out there.

Wonderful place to stay

We stayed for a 4 day holiday and it was great! It was very clean and a quiet so we slept well. The only thing I could say was the beach was not close but you could take a shuttle down to a public beach or go to the pool across the street. We found it pretty easily and it was just 10 minutes or less from Rosemary Beach and many restaurants and shopping. Also the Hub, which you can walk to has places to eat and shopping and bike rentals. Would definitely go back. Thanks to our host Elizabeth, The Johnsons

Not what we expected

We stayed here on our honeymoon. Upon arrival, we contacted the owners because we could not find the home (GPS took us to a completely different house). When we called, our call was ignored and we received a text that said “can’t talk right now”. We explained we could not find the house and someone called us back. The person we spoke to seemed a little aggravated that we could not find the home, like we were bothering them, and were somewhat rude, yet we’ve never been to this area before. We finally found the home and although it was very nice, there were some issues we had during our stay. There were only 4 towels and 2 wash clothes for 2 people staying 4 nights and I might add no washing machine to wash the towels/wash clothes. The temperature was uncomfortable in the room and there was no thermostat so we had to sleep with the windows open at night. It says there is several beach accesses very close by and we could not find a single one (not surprising since we’ve never been to this area before). We reached out to the owners asking how to get to the beach and received no reply. We eventually found our own way to a beach. Just a FYI to others planning on staying here, there is people living above you which is not mentioned in the post and would have been nice to know before booking. This may not be a deal breaker for some, but was for us so keep that in mind. We were supposed to have a parking spot in the driveway, but the last night we stayed we had to park in the street due to the people living above us parking in driveway. This is a very nice area to stay, but we were not pleased due to the issues listed above. We would’ve much rather spent the same amount of money, or less, renting a condo right on the beach.

Enjoyed the house

We had a great trip. Just a few things to note - there is no control of the thermostat, and while the owners did give us the door code to get into the main home to adjust the thermostat on the first floor, it’s a little weird walking into someone else’s living space. Further, you don’t know if those who lived upstairs were readjusting it each day. We had the two ceiling fans on high each night but for a new home (assume it was new...it’s in great shape with current fixtures and decor) the fans did rattle at those speeds. More hand towels and wash cloths would have been helpful. The porch was a great little spot to relax. The location at The Hub is a good go-between, between the Rosemary and Alys Beach communities (about 3.5mi to the east) and Seaside Beach (4.5mi to the west). We biked everywhere.

Fun time for Spring Break!

I rented for my daughter and her friend for a spring break adventure. I wanted some place safe and fun. They loved the atmosphere around the house. My daughter specifically talked about how clean the house was. She said she walked around barefooted and noticed nothing sticking to her feet. I know this is difficult to do at the beach. I would recommend this vrbo and area in general.

Very nice place to stay and affordable.

Very new place and well decorated and comfortable. Space was good for two people we had. Beach access is not far and area is quiet. Nice to have restaurants and food within walking distance at the hub. Centrally located to other sites Would stay there again Tom S.

Home away from home after Hurricane Michael!

What a beautiful home to come home to for a week while we helped our best friends who lost much after the hurricane. Thankfully we were able to work hard during the day in the devastated Panama City area without power, water, cell service etc but drive back to Elizabeth’s beautiful home. Attention to detail in every way! This rental is located in a lovely private area near Rosemary Beach. We greatly appreciated Elizabeth’s quick response time when asking questions. We’d love to come back sometime for a “real” vacation! P.S. MUST try the Barbecue Nachos at the Hub!!! Paul & Jenny I
