Beautiful 36 sqm 1 bedroom apartment with air conditioning, third floor without elevator in a nice building of the upper side of the Marais. The apartment is as follows :  







  • Living room with a sofa , two armchairs, HDTV, DVD, Ipod station, a wireless internet connection. Coffee table, carpet and elegant decoration. Rear Window.


  • Modern kitchen open to the living room with fridge, microwave, hob, dishwasher, washing machine combo dryer, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and everything necessary for cooking and eating.


  • with dining area with a round table and 4 chairs


  • Large room with a 160cm x 200cm bed, bedside table and large dressing. Rear Window.


  • Bathroom with walk in shower, sink and hair dryer. WC.






The apartment is rented with linen, iron and ironing board. Electric heating. Safe.





 





The check in are made without extra cost from Monday to Saturday between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m., there is an extra 35 € fee. Between 10 p.m. and midnight, there is an extra 50€ fee.

The hosts were wonderful; they communicated well and graciously accommodated our early arrival. The apartment was quiet but the neighborhood is lively, with many dining and shopping options just outside the door. Highly recommend.

Really nice place, Thomas was wonderful and helpful, now saying that it’s not in the greatest position, no where near any of the major sites. Close to a market and a few local shops, ideal place if you want the Parisian suburban feel.Place was spotless enough room for 3 people, only problem the power kept turning off which was an easy fix.

We will stay again

Property was fantastic. Excellent! Romain was available easy to work with on time. He did everything he said he would do. I was very appreciative for everything they did. Our son is attending University in Paris. I went to visit him and we used this as jumping off point to go to go to and from Germany. Location is amazing with markets and cafes close by. It seemed to be situated between 2 Metro lines making it easy to get around. Helped to make for an amazing trip.Thank You Romain and the Black Pearl.and back and all over Paris

Lovely apartment

Our overall stay was an excellent experience from checkin to checkout. Great neighborhood, easy access to grocery stores and metro. The building was nice and quiet with apartment facing the inter courtyard. Being on the third floor walk-up, it did give us a much need workout. Romain was very kind, walking us through the apartment with all the instructions and answering all of our questions. One suggestion is to have an instruction book with operation manual for the TV and such. We forgot how to use them once Romain left. Would definitely stay again.

Great location. Duy our local contact was fantastic. He made our stay wonderful!!! He was available for help at all hours for questions on how to operate the washer and the furnace. A first for this sourthern girl who has made it around the world the times… but evidently no where cold!!! 😊

We enjoyed our stay at black pearl...location is extraordinary

We stayed for 10 days at black pearl and made the max of our trip due the location. We had several places to buy food and wine and great resturants to treat ourselves. Apartment is very cozy and we loved the space available under the bed. Our only "consider" is the downstairs neighbor: zero tolerance and i pronise we didn't make any party or loud noise at all. Great place!

Updated apartment w/ broken amenities

The apartment was nice and updated. It was very clean. It's located a little farther north in the Marais than we would have liked. The biggest reason we rented a place instead of staying in a hotel is for space and the ability to do laundry half-way through our trip. Well, the washing machine didn't work. Our clothes didn't come out any cleaner than before and instead came out smellier - so don't rent this place with intentions to do laundry! It was also very clear the management company hadn't inspected it recently - a lot of light bulbs were burnt out and the shower head was clogged.

Perfect location in modern apartment

Location in Marais is perfect. We could reach many sights by foot. The Black Pearl was clean and nicely decorated. The meet and greet worked perfect. We would definately stay there again.

Awesome apartment and fantastic location!

My daughter and I spent a week at the Black Pearl apartment and absolutely loved it! The pictures and description were spot on accurate, the place clean as a whistle. Miguel promptly met us at the designated time and gave us the rundown on the apartment and the area. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again! Note: the apartment is on the third floor and there is not an elevator.

Wonderful apartment in Paris.

We had a wonderful experience at this apartment. It is in a great location and is very convenient to numerous Metro stops. The apartment is newly refurbished - everything is new! We stayed in the apartment with our daughter who attends university in London. The pull out couch was comfortable and convenient. I have a couple of suggestions for the owners. The apartment is very nicely decorated, but there are some practical suggestions I would make. In the kitchen, I would suggest a mat on the floor by the sink. The sink tends to splash and the floor then gets wet. Also, I would have under the sink some paper towels and liquid dish soap so if you are only using a few dishes you can wash them and not use the dishwasher. I would suggest some sponges and another dish towel. We spilled juice and had to use the dish towel to clean it up and then couldn't use it again. In the bathroom - the shower is fabulous. I would include a soap dish on the sink and a few rolls of toilet paper. I'd install a toilet paper holder. I'd also include a hairdryer. The bedroom is lovely. There is no dresser, but a closet with cubbies to put your stuff and hang. I'd move the stuff out of the closet - the drying rack and vacuum -- because it gives more room for hanging. Lastly, we were given the wrong street number on our notice for the apartment so we went to number 2 rue Charlot instead of 52. Thankfully, you provided the phone number and Miguel called us back and guided us to the right number. Paris was lovely and the apartment helped make our stay wonderful.
