Cette maison confortable à un seul étage dispose de 2 chambres avec salle de bain complète et une chambre / salle de détente (The Art Room) avec 1/2 bain. Master: lit king avec vue sur l'océan; Deuxième chambre: 2 lits jumeaux, "Art Room" a un jumeau et 1/2 salle de bain. Vues fantastiques du salon, chambre à coucher, cuisine, salle à manger et salle d'art. Détendez-vous au feu de bois (bois mère nature à son meilleur quel que soit le temps. Plan d'étage ouvert. Maison merveilleusement aménagée et cuisine bien approvisionnée. Belle pelouse et des chaises de plage en bord de mer. Barbecue à gaz pour griller le dîner (peut-être du poisson frais?) Jouets de plage. Cement quitte la pelouse luxuriante jusqu’à notre plage de sable plate idéale pour les longues promenades, chiens, enfants, châteaux de sable, cerf-volant, pêche au surf, chasse au rock, ou tout simplement lire un livre ou observer les baleines, les phoques et les lions de mer, les pélicans et oiseaux de rivage de toutes sortes. . Il vous suffit d'apporter vos vêtements et ce que vous voulez manger. Nous nous occupons du reste. Laveuse / sécheuse et garage. Réfrigérateur supplémentaire dans le garage pour les longs séjours. Nouvelle télévision à écran plat. WiFi fourni.

A Very Pleasant Stay

The overall location of the cottage, in proximity to Yachats and Waldport, was very convenient. Mgmt at Ocean Odyssey was excellent. I loved the photos of Ed & Gloria. I also enjoyed the board games and the collection of books.I grew up in the 60s, so I liked the vibe of the cottage.The main drawback for me was the bed and the pillows. Their useful life ended a very long time ago.The bedding was old and smelled musty. There were a few pretzels, popcorn, and toy pieces under the couch and dining table. I cleaned those up from the carpet. Overall, the cottage was very nice, but it's time to update the bed and bedding.Also, it would be helpful to have a hose attached to the outdoor spigot.

Magical Yachats

The house is the perfect size for our family of 4 with all the amenities we needed. Proximity to town was a plus- we could walk there in 30 minutes or drive there in 5.

The house has everything you need for the ideal beach vacation. This is truly a 'pet friendly home. The kitchen is well equipped, though we did bring an extra large pot for the crabs we bought up in Newport!We are already planning our return!

Home away from home!

This is our 4th or 5th stay. We stay here because it is clean, cozy and our dogs know it as theirs. When we are on the beach and say, “go home” -they know where to go! (There’s a little bit of cobwebs happening this visit- not enough to quibble about.) There weren’t any residents in them! The ease of access to the beach allows my wife the ability to enjoy it. My mother in law loves it too! 2 Adirondack chairs on the lawn for the sunset show is the only thing this place is missing! We will be back again and again!

A great spring break beach holiday

Our grandchildren had never stayed at a house that was right on the beach and they loved it. Just a few steps out the door and their little feet were in the sand. We plan on returning to this house.

Great Getaway

Great cozy property right on the beach. One block from Highway 101, but you never hear it. Great location for day trips to Yachats, Florence and Newport. Loved this property!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the best place I have ever stayed in. What a beautiful, ocean view , easy access to the beach , lovely experience. This home has everything completely stocked, plus, all the spices, bandaids, junk drawer with string, birthday candles, tape, matches, night lights and hot water bottle which was used for my granddaughter’s tummy ache! Kites, toys, art supplies, all donated with love by the family that owns the home. The view is right on the ocean, with a great trail to the beach! The home is personal and very warm. This feels like home! We all loved it. The moon comes through the windows at night. Thank-you for sharing your home with us.

Wonderful Seaside Getaway

Being just steps away from the beach was perfect. Not to mention the views from inside with the huge windows looking out over the waves. It was comfortable and close enough to town amenities via yachats or waldport...but far enough away to feel like I got away from town. I would definitely stay again! again

Beautiful Location, Great Management

My daughter and I stayed at Ed and Gloria's for a much needed relaxing trip and to celebrate our birthdays. Communication with property management was exceptional. The house is very clean, and the beach is right outside the back door! Easy access down to beach. Perfect sand and area for walking! The home is truly a "home", and a touching family "time capsule" of another place and time. We will be back! Thank you.

Perfect location for relaxing beach getaway

This was the perfect house for our mom’s and adult daughter’s + baby trip. The beach was steps away and the access was limited to the very few neighbors. Quiet and secluded. Super fun 70’s decor! Not sure I’d bring toddlers or very young kids as there are vintage decor items. Beds were comfy, the kitchen was great - highly recommend!
