Cour récemment refaite! Nouveau spa, gazebo et maintenant accessible aux handicapés! Le nouveau point de vue est également accessible en fauteuil roulant.
Conrad Cottage est une grande maison face Ă  l'ocĂ©an avec d'excellentes vues sur l'ocĂ©an Pacifique. À l'intĂ©rieur, vous trouverez toutes les commoditĂ©s de la maison, y compris DSL Ă  large bande (Wi-Fi ou LAN) pour un accĂšs Internet haut dĂ©bit, une vaste cuisine bien Ă©quipĂ©e avec Crock Pot, gaufrier et mĂ©langeur. Cette maison est parfaite pour ce week-end de travail ou pour simplement s'asseoir, se dĂ©tendre et profiter de la vue. Un accĂšs facile Ă  la plage se trouve Ă  quelques minutes Ă  pied pour accĂ©der Ă  plus de 6 miles de plage de sable accessible Ă  pied. Belle cour avec barbecue et mobilier extĂ©rieur. Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was perfect. The view was perfect. The beach access was perfect. The house was comfortable. It was has been nicely remodeled. The only complaint we had was that there was a lot of dog hair on the floor when we swept. And no we didn’t have a dog with us. It just seemed like it didn’t get vacuumed very well.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is clean,the view is great. There are some cosmetic issues that need to be addressed. The Laundry room ceiling needs to be repaired and the hole in the Master bedroom wall needs patching. We could not use the King bed because it is way too high, really high. The Bar stools for the dining room table are horrible. They are too tall and small and the metal bases are rusted. Sitting at that dining room table was not comfortable. There is wooden outdoor furniture that has seen better days and most does not seem safe to sit on. There is an unusable hot tub that really should be removed. The stay was fine for two people and a dog. The property claims to be wheelchair accessible, but only in the Living room, bathroom, kitchen and dining room. Although I don't know where you will sit in the dining room, the table is one of the Tall tables. Also the hallway is too tight for a wheelchair and so are the bedrooms. That did not effect us, but if you are looking for a wheelchair accessible place this is not it. Getting to the beach was ok, there are stairs, but then there are alot of rocks to get down to the beach. Not easy for older people or small children.

There was enough room, you didn't feel cramped. There was an issue with moisture in the fridge but it worked.The location was good,just a few minutes out of town. There was beach access just a few streets away. Short drive for the daily dog walk. Overall a good experience.

Pros:‱ We could see the ocean.‱ There were some decent people watching moments as folks strolled by on the beach. ‱ Lots of lighthouse themed artwork throughout the house. ‱ Easy to find.‱ Plenty of small kitchen appliances.‱ Somebody obviously cares about this place.Cons: ‱ There was no tsunami evacuation map posted, just some handwritten notes on a scrap of paper in a binder. ‱ The beds were too big for the rooms (we relocated the dressers and TVs to be able to access both sides of the beds)‱ Some interior maintenance issues (missing plates for electrical outlets, exposed wires on the refrigerator doors, etc) ‱ Listed as accessible/ADA friendly, but only accessible to a point- the bedrooms would be inaccessible to a standard manual wheelchair, and transferring onto the toilet would require gymnastics training.‱ Property listing indicated beach access nearby, but there were no directions. All we found was a washed out cliff where stairs may have been. ‱ The listing photos avoided showing this, but there was a 6 ft - 8 ft tall wobbly construction of 2x4 boards and electrical conduits in the middle of the patio. Management assured us at checkout that it was “for the hot tub” and fully shut off. ‱ The back yard is NOT fully fenced- it is open on either side of the house, and dogs should be kept on leash to avoid wandering into the parking or garbage can areas.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our fourth year in a row in the Conrad Cottage and it continues to check all of the boxes. Its location cannot be beat, but its popularity shows--some indoor and outdoor furniture is breaking down a bit and the home is getting a little rougher around the edges each year. But it meets our family's needs without fail and we'll be back again next year.

Disgusting, innacurate listing!!!

Staying here for a week expecting to have beach access, as described in the listing, to find out it was a huge cliff drop off. The house was completely gross on arrival. Took many photos of the mold, dead flies, ricketing questionable furniture, firepit was non existant as it was completely rusted through, hot tob was listed usable when it was locked with no code supplied while also having half the water in the tub causing it to be unusable. The sheets were still im the dryer, beds had human and dog fur caked up being the bedboards, ant infestation, and many other things. After calling ocean oddysey about the issues, they were pushy about giving me only one night reimbursement when i really should have asked for a full refund at this point. We will NEVER reccomend this listing to anyone based off of the horrible listing and experience we had. Im honestly very displeased with the service and the quality of the listing and want my whole refund. It was miserable sleeping there! The beds had a giant hump in the center causing use to slowly fall of the bed over night, windows had no screens to help airout the place without being attacked by bugs, there was also holes in many places of the home. This place is FALSELY ADVERTISED!!! RENTER BEWARE!! Huge waste of money! Get yourself a hotel instead!!
This is unacceptable. This would take you 20 min to fix!
This was caked with dust!
Dead flies in EVERY WINDOW
This is a hazard for your dogs to get cut open! This is a safety issue!!

Expansive views

The Conrad Cottage was perfect for our family weekend getaway. We loved spending time in the yard, which has incredible oceanfront views and easy access to the beach just a short walk away. The house is nicely tucked away from PCH, making it feel peaceful, yet it’s only a quick 5-minute drive to downtown Yachats. The kitchen could use a refresh of pots and pans with lids, but overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily come back

What a view!

Great property with an awesome view!Nice backyard for the dogs, home was clean and comfortable. Furniture well used, and some were broken, but don’t let that deter you.It’s kind of sketchy getting to the beach as you have to traverse some rocks after the staircase, but well worth it!Will definitely book this home again!

Great views; Dirty, Stinky, and poorly maintained Home

Although the location and view were wonderful, the overall experience was not uplifting due to the poor upkeep, dirtiness, and offensive smells in the home. A real disappointment to pay money and travel far to find myself in this rental home that made me long to be back in my actual home. Will not stay with Ocean Odyssey again.Positives: *Nice layout of house - great ocean views from living/dining areas. *Host was easy to contact by phone and answered my questions upon arrival.*Kitchen well stocked and newer cabinets and flooringNegatives:Home smelled awful - like old, urine-soaked subflooring- worst in bathroom but detectible in kitchen, dining area, and living area. *Dirty - Visible layers of dirt, hair, mysterious chunks, sand, dust under sofas, chairs, and beds. I dropped something on the floor while in bed, and when I reached down to pick it up, I had to wash my hands afterward because the floor under the edge of the bed was so dirty. Yuck. Animal hair and dust visible on glass TV table upon arrival. Lid of kitchen trash can streaked with grease upon arrival. Sliding door and window runners dirty and moldy.*Poorly maintained interior - walls with chipped paint, headboard of master bed in bad shape, picture frame in smaller bedroom coming apart, trim in bathroom incomplete, toilet seat wiggles when you sit on it, *Information in the home did not include tsunami evacuation route. Host did verbally provide this information when called to ask.

Great spot

Great little spot right on the ocean. Beach access about a 2 min walk away to the north. Can be a bit tricky getting down with small ones but we managed. We were there during a storm and home stayed warm although water did pool in the slider track, so something to be aware of during heavy rain. All in all it was a great property and we enjoyed our stay.

Amazing Ocean View!

The pictures do not do this property justice. We wanted a nice and stormy weekend to watch the ocean and get away from reality and our stay did not disappoint! The house was clean and orderly, it was private and stunning! Perfect off season get away! Will be staying here again!

Not Quite Right

Fantastic location. Gorgeous ocean views. Generally clean house. Disappointed in the yard as we rented this house specifically because it was pet friendly and said it had a fenced yard. It does, just 3/4 fenced so we could not let our dog out on his own. Also, the couch is broken and uncomfortable. The king sized bed is nice but very, very soft. Overall, we enjoyed our time, especially sitting outside watching the ocean.

Nice little cottage

This is a nice little cottage. The fenced yard was nice for our dog and it is right on the ocean. However, getting to the beach is not very easy. There are stairs but the final "climb" is down some huge boulders and it can be very slippery when wet. If you have anyone with mobility issues you'll have to drive about 5 minutes north to the next easy beach access. The host was awesome, very responsive when we had an issue. Overall it was a nice stay for a reasonable price.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view from this cottage and easy beach access made up for some shortcomings of the property. We know it's tough to maintain seashore residences, but the place does need a bit of attention from the owner, and could have used a little more cleaning before our visit. That said, the kitchen remodel provides plenty of room for cooking, the shower worked well, and it was pleasant to get up in the morning to sea views. It was a quick drive to restaurants and sights in and around Yachats and Waldport.
