For the price, the location is great. Close walk to lots of activities. Parking is tight and expensive. Wish weâd known there would be construction across the hall during our stay. The hotel offers no support during your stay so you are on your own for washing towels and sheets during your stay.
Small but practical unit in a great location. It was tight for the 4 of us, 2 adults and two young adults and not really anywhere to put your clothes, but for a short stay it was fine - close to beach and restaurants, and right on the bus live. Everyone was polite and helpful.
Location to WAIKIKI Beach is very close. 4 blocks away from $19/day car rental. 808 Smart Car Rentals. Oh...$20 night parking in their Parkade. Best Pizza for value and size located across the hall from Car Rental, at Maleko's Pastries. who also offer the best Muffins anywhere on the island especially the Coconut/Pineapple. Walk to Ala Moana Shopping Centre. We have stayed at Aqua Palm 4 times.
The desk staff were excellent. The room was very small, not real clean and difficult to relax in. Pretty expensive for such a room. Wouldnât stay there again
The only thing I did not like was the parking garage it was too steep and narrow going up and down. Several times we came close to scratching the car. Also, the price of parking was outrageous. Was told approximately $28 and ended up paying $73.30 for two days and had to check in every two days to see if I was able to get 2 more days at 73.30. But overall, the place was in a great location. We enjoyed it.
This condo was nice and is well located in Waikiki, near the western end. It was well stocked. Appreciated the beach chairs, boogie boards, and towels in the closet. Beds were okay. Loved the headboards and artwork on the walls. Very Hawaiian. The air conditioning is controlled by a sensor that turns the AC off when no one is present and also by a switch that turns the AC off if the lanai door is open. These switches were not working properly during our visit so we couldn't use the AC. Maintenance was promptly called and repairs attempted and it really didn't matter because we opened the lanai door and used a box fan to blow in the cool air at night, so we were comfortable. Fairly tight quarters for two adults and two grown kids. Enjoyed seeing Pearl Harbor and Dolphin Quest. Walking distance to Waikiki beach. Ate breakfast on the lanai and enjoyed birds singing in nearby park every morning. Had no problem getting a parking space every night.
Very clean. As pictured. Sufficient. #Yougetwhatyoupayfor
This is basically a privately owned room in the Aqua Palms Hotel, in other words, a hotel room without maid service. The room was very clean. Sheets and towels were typical hotel grade and also very clean. Beach towels also provided, which was nice. There was plenty of toilet paper, paper towels and coffee filters provided. There was VERY little room for storage. All of the drawers are stuffed full of sheets and towels. The two bedside tables are each a single kitchen cabinet with "marble" top and no shelves inside. They are empty but essentially just tall narrow boxes without shelves. You can't really store much in there. The closet has some hanging space but a lot of it is full of cleaning supplies, a small ironing board and vacuum cleaner. There are no true drawers or shelves in the bathroom (though the counter space is quite large.) Under the counter there is a laundry hamper that canât be opened without pulling the whole hamper out. There is a plastic thing with drawers on wheels that is empty except for the 1995 hairdryer that is provided. Then there is a bag of cleaning supplies under the counter as well. It would be really helpful if there were substantial drawers/cabinets under the bathroom counter. There is also a whole wall under the TV where there could be a chest of drawers, or even two. Unless you are someone who doesnât mind living directly out of your suitcase the whole time, the lack of storage space is a problem. The only outlet in the bathroom did not work when we arrived but they replaced it with a new one the next day. The AC quit working one evening, but the room was not unbearable once we opened the sliding glass door and they fixed it the next morning. There are three elevators and one was not working the whole time we were there. There was often a line for the elevator, a five minute wait was not uncommon, but people were generally good sports about it. The âguest hostâ was very polite and responsive. The pool was small but absolutely lovely. Pretty blue tiles. Nice chairs. Quite.
Basically, for the price paid, this was a good deal. We just wanted a clean, comfortable place to lay our heads, and this met the bill! Beds were comfy, shower was hot, fridge and AC were cool. There were a couple issues but they were addressed quickly and pleasantly. If you are trying to save money, this is a good place to stay. The only continued issue is the lack of drawer space which could be easily remedied. .
We arrived and checked in no problem. Contacting Mark, the owner was great, he responded right away.
The room was nice, lovely beds, clean bedding and towels. It was further from the beach than we had thought but walkable. There were two portable chairs in the room that were nice on the beach.
The only problem was a leak in the bathroom dripping water from the unit upstairs, that again was attended too right away. We assume this will be taken care of before the next tenant. It would have been nice to have a sink outside of the bathroom, this made it a little awkward to wash the dishes. The floor could have been cleaned a little more. Other than that it was a great place and nice balcony where we had breakfast.
AC went out second night, property manager moved us into another unit (real pain to move!)
Fixed AC and AC went out again (my wife found a previous review indicating same problem) he said he'd refund the balance of our reservation, we had trouble finding another room in the same building. Now move #4... Great Hawaii vacation, *not"!
Very nice and clean room with a great view of the city and a glimpse of the ocean. Check-in was simple and the owner communicated and responded quickly. Only has a microwave so no way to cook if you wanted to eat in. Beach is within walking distance. Definitely recommend the Aqua Palms
This location worked out well. Super convenient being next to Hilton Village. Everything was as stated except it wasn't really a kitchenette. There was just a microwave, refrigerator, and heating element. There was a great view of downtown Honolulu. There was some sketchy people in the area in the evenings. Locations worked out great within 5 minutes of multiple bus stops.

Located at the Fort DeRusey end of Waikiki we are close to the Fridyt night Fireworks display (a must see!), The marina and Walking distance to the conference center & Ala Moana shopping complex. You'll enjoy the beautiful beaches and parks all around us.
We have plenty of great restaurants of all types (and budgets) within an easy walk of our beautiful and relaxing suite.
Our pool is gorgeous and the sundeck around it makes for the perfect location to relax with a book or your favorite cocktail while soaking in the afternoon sunshine.
Location of this property is ideal for both travelers looking to relax and business travellers working in either Waikiki or downtown Honolulu.
We're on all the major bus routes and of course we now have both UBER & Lyft on the Island - A car is really not required at this 'walk to everything' location. :)
