Cottage récemment rénové 2 chambres 1 et 1/2 salles de bain avec grande cuisine, plus salon, véranda fermée et terrasse. 5 couchages. Marchez ou faites du vélo jusqu'à Good Harbor Beach depuis un chalet calme et privé. Près de Leland, Cedar et Glen Arbour, à 30 minutes de Traverse City. Wifi et câble. Blanchisserie et linge de maison. Animaux avec dépôt et autorisation avec frais de nettoyage supplémentaires de 50 dollars. 100 frais de nettoyage. Cadre dans les bois. Aucun feu autorisé. Ne pas fumer. Temps calme après le coucher du soleil.

Great place!

This is a nice cottage where five adults in our group stayed. The location is perfect for exploring the entire area. Would definitely recommend!

Get away week in Cedar

The house was comfortable and spacious. The WiFi was unpredictable and slow at best. The open kitchen plan provided a gathering spot that was fun. We enjoyed eating on the deck.

Really nice!

We had a great stay. The cottage is more spacious and comfortable than the pictures suggest, with a large deck. Beautiful wooded setting, very quiet. Great location near Leland with a wonderful beach on Lake Michigan a 5 minute drive away. We would definitely go back again.

Treetop Cottage

We loved our stay at this charming treetop cottage!! The central location is close to everything and especially Good Harbor beach. We enjoyed sitting outside on the deck and eating our meals there while listening to the birds and wildlife. The cottage has super comfy bed linens and towels, and the kitchen is modern with great cooking area and supplies. The owner was quick and responsive when we had a question. We thoroughly enjoyed the cottage and especially the quiet and serene escape off the beaten path!!

Lovely cottage!

We had everything we needed at this lovely up North cottage. The kitchen is beautiful, with new appliances. Loved the screened in porch that makes you feel like you’re in a treehouse. Light and airy tv room with comfortable sofa and a square coffee table perfect for playing board games. Nice gas grill and deck. The beautiful wooded setting around the cottage gives you privacy. Nice yard for throwing a frisbee. Laundry room with washer and dryer is a nice bonus. It’s a great location - close to gorgeous Good Harbor beach (on the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore) Sleeping Bear sand dunes, Leland’s Fishtown, Glen Arbor, and the list goes on. I have vacationed in the Leelanau Peninsula since I was a young child, and I can say that this is one of the best places I have stayed. Peggy is a terrific host!

Peaceful setting, great location

The wooded setting is quiet and peaceful, and Peggy is a pleasant and thoughtful host. Generally, the cottage has very usable spaces. The recently updated kitchen is really very nice, and the large, enclosed porch is lovely – open the screened windows and enjoy the air. The living room a bright and comfortable and the bedrooms adequate. We appreciated the table, chairs, and new propane grill on the large deck but use footwear to avoid slivers from the old deck boards. The aging bathroom is functional, about what you’d expect in an older cottage. We appreciated the wifi since cell service is weak. We didn’t use the washer/dryer, but they’d be convenient for longer stays. Overall, this is a reasonably priced rental in a great location within beautiful Leelanau County.

Perfect dog-friendly cottage in the woods, near the beach

We loved our week at Peggy and Paul's updated traditional cottage. The location is *perfect* -- in the quiet of the woods, but only a mile from Good Harbor Bay Beach (a wonderful beach for swimming, walking, running, and watching the sunset and which allows dogs on part of it). And so convenient to everything in Leelanau and TC! The cottage is comfortable and much more spacious than the pictures show. The updated kitchen and grill are great to cook in/on, and the dining room table on the three-season porch made it easy to cook for ourselves and eat surrounded by the trees and the fresh air (and no bugs!). The sunny living room and the breezy porch were both great at different times and in different weather. Plenty of space to spread out. Our dog loved it when we opened all the windows and doors and she could smell the woods and watch for critters. The beds were comfortable (though I wish I had brought my own pillow -- I'm picky!) and the bathroom small but adequate, with a surprising amount of space to stow the stuff of three people. Having a laundry was great, too. The half bath is part of the laundry room, which might be awkward for some, but we didn't mind. I found the mirrored medicine cabinet in there great for getting ready while someone else was using the shower in the full bath. The yard, deck, and surrounding woods were all lovely, too. Peggy was easy to contact and she left detailed instructions on our arrival. All in all, a wonderful time. Would come again!

Loved it

My month at this cottage flew by. I loved it. It is part of a gorgeous property with owner's manor next door. Such a beautiful spot. This cottage is nestled in the woods next to their house. It is peaceful, well kept, near the beach. The owner's were not present, but were in contact with all needs. So glad I made this choice, and I have a fond memory of it. Even tho its just yesterday I left. :) A sanctuary in nature for sure. <3

Great Cottage & Location

We had a nice week at The Cottage. Peggy is very responsive and the cottage was clean and ready for us. The location is perfect; we love all of the Leelanau Peninsula and this spot near Good Harbor Beach is perfect. The cottage is large with lots of windows for views into the woods and nice breezes. You might want to bring your own lawn chairs for the porch; there are only two chairs there and they have thick cushions that were usually damp. All-in-all, we were happy with our stay.

Peace and quiet

The cottage is really larger than photos reveal. With two living areas there was plenty of room for five adults. The sunroom with the twin bed was like sleeping in a treehouse. The location couldn’t be better for beach access at Good Harbor, we walked most of the time. We cooked all meals in the cabin, it’s well equipped. No need to bring your own towels, Peggy has equipped the cottage with large, thick fluffy cotton towels. One thing to keep in mind, this a heavily forested rural location and there are some inconveniences city folks aren’t used to, but the cottage and it’s location outweigh them. We had a lovely time, it was just too short!

The Cozy Cottage steps away from Sleeping Bear recreational area

It was a perfect family getaway in the fall. A spacious bedrooms and totally modern kitchen amenities made this for a great little getaway after being in lockdown for so long pet friendly to! Thank you so much we hope to be back one day.

we had a terrific week during the fall. all 3 heaters kept us toasty warm. the kitchen is well stocked and newly updated. the front room is surrounded by trees so we nicknamed it the tree house. would definitely stay again

Terrific getaway

We had a terrific time at the cottage. The cottage was clean, spacious and in a lovely location. I especially appreciated the kitchen as we cooked most of our meals. It is roomy and very well outfitted with good pans and utensils. This is lackiNg in many properties , and was very much appreciated. The only concern about the cottage is that it is a three season space. If it is going to be cold the heating units don’t really warm the entire space. We had a few chilly mornings but as long as it was warm we loved the cottage.

We really enjoyed this cottage size and location. Only complaint is that you cannot lock the property when you are not there. A simple digital lock would fix this. Will book again in the future if this issue is corrected. We were impressed with the level of items for use in the kitchen and porch area. Stocked very well.Thanks

Wonderful location, spacious cottage

We had a great time at Peggy's place; the cottage is pretty spread out so each person can have a little private space. Beautiful new kitchen and well-furnished bedrooms. My son liked sleeping on the (enclosed) front porch area. Would definitely return. Warning: the dryer makes an awful racket (but it works!)

Nice place/Great location

Really liked the location and the accommodations offered at this property. Owner was very helpful and had everything ready to go to make it an enjoyable stay. One thing I would want to clarify about the listing is the half bathroom is technically a toilet in the laundry room. Not the end of the world but keep that in mind depending on what you are looking for. One other thing we weren't a fan of is the wifi router is located in the master bedroom which has a lot of lights that blink at night. Again not the end of the world since I just threw a piece of clothing over it but it would be nice if we didn't have to deal with it. All in all a nice place and a great location!

Lovely Property

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Cottage. We brought along our small dog and she enjoyed exploring the yard and taking walks up and down the long driveway. The location is quiet & peaceful with a large deck overlooking woods and lovely landscaping with wildflowers. The interior was very spacious with plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen was nicely updated and stocked with all necessary pots, pans and kitchen gadgets. It has a washer and dryer. There is an air conditioner in the living room. A nice flat screen TV with a good selection of channels. Nice bathroom setup and the shower worked well. It was a great location for the activities we enjoy (biking, hiking and going to the beach). The owners, Peggy & Paul were very friendly and helpful. Their cute dog, Cody, came down a few times to say hello also. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back!

Quiet and comfortable cottage!

This cottage is very spacious, nestled up in the woods just minutes from Good Harbor Beach. So quiet and comfortable, would definitely stay here again! Peggy was friendly and the experience was pleasant all around. I would recommend this property to others looking to stay in the area.

Cedar Michigan Cottage

We loved all of the windows and the breezes that came in them, as well as the deep quiet. It was wonderful that we were able to bring our dog with us. It was a good place for him to be. While it did not bother us, we would imagine that others may find it disconcerting that there are no keys to the cottage so you are unable to lock it when you are not there.

This property was a good location to Good Harbor Beach. It served the purpose that we needed it to serve. The only few down sides are that the air conditioning was only in the living space and not in the bed room, which was okay after the first few 2 nights. The other thing we found slightly inconvenient was we couldn’t lock the cottage

Great location for Sleeping Bear Dunes

Great cabin with attentive owners nearby. Easy to get to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Leland, and Traverse City. Only clarification is that the bedrooms are not air conditioned. Not a problem for most of the week as there were plenty of fans but it was a little warm one evening.

Great Sleeping Bear Location

The location of this cottage is perfect for those visiting Leelanau area. Situated just off M-22 with alot of privacy, it is near Leland, Cedar, Lake Leelanau, and a short mile from Good Harbor Beach. The cottage is very clean and has had updates to the kitchen which are great. There's a wonderful sunroom for relaxing. If you stay in late spring, you can enjoy the fragrance from the lilacs and Lily of the valley that are prolific! Owners, Peggy and Paul are great to work with and promptly handle any questions or issues you may have. Also, their friendly dog, Cody, is a fun visitor to have stop by!
