My daughter and I were up for a family reunion nearby. This cabin is well located, and the park across the street has playground equipment and a dock. We even saw the northern lights one night!
Definitely would recommend this cabin. Nice property too
Stayed with our family in the cabin. Great spot next to a park and across the road from the lake. 10 minute drive to Glen Arbor with all kinds of shops. Highly recommend this cabin.
Came up north to do some shopping, dining and sight seeing. Your cabin provided the perfect location for our day trips. The add was spot on and there were no surprises. The cabin was very clean and cozy. Ended each day with a bonfire and a glass of wine. I would recommend to friends.
Enjoyed our stay very much. The park across the street was great for the kids, planning on coming back next summer to take advantage of all the outdoor attractions near by. Appreciated the recommendations for attractions and restaurants.
We enjoyed a nice, quiet stay on a beautiful Fall weekend. Our only issue was that the dvd player did not work--power came on but the tray would not open. I'm sure the owners have corrected that issue by now. The owners were very reponsive, especially when we locked a cell phone in the cottage when we were ready to depart--solved in a few minutes via text. We would stay here again.
My family, which includes myself, my husband, 3 energetic boys (10, 6, and 10 months) loved this cozy little cabin! We walked to the park and water directly across the street from us to explore and play. At the cabin the boys loved that they had outdoor games, like football and crochet, and inside we played some family rounds of candyland. From a mom's perspective, I loved that this cabin also had an infant packNplay to make bedtime easy for the baby. Checkin was super easy and communication was awesome. Would highly recommend this place to anyone!!
We enjoyed our stay in Glen Arbor. Cabin was perfect place as a home base while exploring the area. Heidi was quick to respond and offered great suggestions. Look forward to a return trip
We loved the clean, cozy cabin. The location was great to access several different bodies of water and sites. It was nice to eat in but there were great eat out options perfect for different tastes and price ranges. We will definitely be back - it is perfect Up North Living!
Along with being a cozy, spotlessly clean cabin, we found the location to be perfect for easy access to an amazing number of Sleeping Bear hiking trails and gorgeous Lake Michigan beaches. In addition, Glen Arbor, Empire, Leland, and Suttons Bay are all nearby and we never tired of the lovely drives around the peninsula. The cabin and furnishings are so comfortable and cooking meals a breeze in the well stocked kitchen. We also made good use of the outdoor fire pit, while enjoying the nighttime solitude and star-filled sky. In short, we loved everything about this property and communication with Heidi was excellent!
Had a beautiful weekend in one of the most spectacular parts of our country. Cabin was a perfect location to take it all in! I have already recommended this cabin to friends and family!!
I have been coming up to Glen Lake for 40+ years. We had a great stay at this cottage. It was clean and exactly what we expected. It is a great location right across from a park With access to the water. We will definitely stay here again.
We loved the location. In addition to being right across from public access to Big Glen, which offers great shallow swimming, the yard at the cabin provided a perfect place for my kids and I to socially distance and visit outdoors with our family who live in the area. Itâs a nice private setting but close to everything. The kitchen was stocked with pots and pans, real wine glasses and even things like olive oil and spices. A very cute, clean 1950s cabin.
We had the best time this weekend! The cottage is so cute and cozy and we felt right at home. The pictures posted donât do it justice! The house is amazing and we wouldnât have picked anywhere else to stay! Heidi was so easy to communicate with and we hope to be back some day!! Thank you!!
We stayed here last summer, and once again, we had a great week at this cottage. It's cozy, old-fashioned, and a bit rustic-- a real cottage with knotty pine everywhere. But surprisingly comfy beds, a more than adequate kitchen, great patio. Right across from Old Settlers Park, so the water is right there. Glen Arbor is 6 miles away.
We booked this trip for a wine weekend and to tour the Leelanau Penninsula. Great location to Glen Arbor, Leland, and Suttonâs Bay. Cozy little cabin, beds were comfy, and was the perfect amount of space for 4 people. My only suggestion would be to have more bathroom linens but other than that, everything was great! Heidi is so easy to work with and she was so quick to respond and kept in touch with us throughout the week. Great VRBO owner!!
Very clean and cozy. Nice beds. Perfect cottage for our son, d-I-law, and 3 yr old grandson. Would have held more people too.
Heidi was great to work with. During a power outage her husband came over w a portable generator. Awesome! Our grandson can not go to sleep without a fan going!
Heidi is an Elementary School teacher and Joakim is a group fitness trainer. We are both interested in the outdoors and love running and fitness. We have enjoyed summers in this area of years and are happy to welcome people to come see what Leelanau County has to offer.
Our cabin is in a great location for shopping, The Dunes, skiing, hiking and local wineries. Located across from access to Big Glen Lake makes it convenient to the water but being set back in a one acre forest provides the privacy that makes for a perfect getaway.
