We appreciate the old school cottage vibe: pine paneling, geraniums in the window boxes, and comfortable outside seating options. The neighborhood is generally very quiet and itâs a pleasure to hear the birds and wind in the trees. Access to Glen Lake, via the park, is a huge bonus. Pro tip: We bring our own cotton sheets (the house has microfiber sheets), extra bath towels, kitchen towels and washcloths, and even a mattress topper to ensure good sleep (the beds have basic mattresses, no box springs, and creaky metal frames). Weâve figured out how to make this special place work well for us. Thank you! And we intend to return for our 3rd time, soon.Thank you, Heidi!
Amazing location! So close to everything. We enjoyed watching sunsets from the park across from the cabin the most! Just of note the shower is small. Would 100% book here again.
My family, which includes myself, my husband, 3 energetic boys (10, 6, and 10 months) loved this cozy little cabin! We walked to the park and water directly across the street from us to explore and play. At the cabin the boys loved that they had outdoor games, like football and crochet, and inside we played some family rounds of candyland. From a mom's perspective, I loved that this cabin also had an infant packNplay to make bedtime easy for the baby. Checkin was super easy and communication was awesome. Would highly recommend this place to anyone!!
We enjoyed a nice, quiet stay on a beautiful Fall weekend. Our only issue was that the dvd player did not work--power came on but the tray would not open. I'm sure the owners have corrected that issue by now. The owners were very reponsive, especially when we locked a cell phone in the cottage when we were ready to depart--solved in a few minutes via text. We would stay here again.
