This home was perfect for our group of 4 adults. Communication with owner was very good. Very clean and best stocked VRBO we have stayed in. Cherry pie left for us was a nice touch. Close to a few restaurants and shops. Nice private outdoor area with table and chairs out back. Comfortable beds and the AC worked great, as it got very hot! We would recommend and definitely stay here again.
The property is very cozy and comfortable. The host has thought of everything needed for guests to feel at home. In addition they gave us restaurant suggestions in the local area.It is in a great location and it is quiet and relaxing. Check in/out was very easy and we were greeted and shown various aspects of use of the home.We would defiantly stay again.
This home was very clean and you had everything you would ever need, The property manager was very sweet and helpful. Loved all the books and artwork very nice place! We will stay again!
Very nice home with cute features. The bed was extremely soft. Very easy walk to local restaurants, coffee shop and even a couple of wineries. We definitely would stay here again.
Everything was excellent. Appreciated the ease of staying in a home that felt like home. Hosts were very gracious and communicative and provided excellent information about the area and how to enjoy their home. We look forward to returning.
Homey place to stay, clean and never have seen such a Well stocked Vrbo. Great location. And an added plus was a delicious cherry pie and ice cream. Yum.
Sparkling clean and the most well-stocked house we have ever stayed in! There was a cherry pie waiting for us. Awesome location! We visited Old Mission Peninsula, TC, Northport, and Fish Town. The hosts were fantastic. We would love to return!
Great place, great setting, quiet area, close to Leland, close to North port, close to Suttons Bay, and Traverse City. Close to lakes. The only thing that could upgrade the experience from âgreatâ to âperfectâ, would have been a fenced in back yard for our Collies. But, we made it work without skipping a beat. The cherry pie for us as a checking in bonus, was delicious!
We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for our long weekend in Leelanau. The home was well equipped, cozy, and inviting. So many extras - apple pie and ice cream upon our arrival, a milkshake machine, beautiful private patio space, comfortable bed and furniture, a short walk to local restaurants, and centrally located to everything the peninsula has to offer. Highly recommend!!!!
This is a great place to stay. Great location, close to all that Leelenau has to offer, clean, easy to relax and enjoy your stay here. Jim was friendly, easy going and made us feel welcome. We made ourselves at home. Looking forward to coming back!
This was our second time staying at this convenient and well equipped property. Itâs in the heart of Leelanau County near villages and beaches. I highly recommend it, and the owners are easy to communicate with and very accommodating.
A very comfortable home, well supplied for visitors. It felt like being at home to be there. Owners and greeters were easy to communicate with and answered any questions we had. It was a pleasure to be staying in a space that has all the comforts of home and was good to return to after a day outdoors walking in the woods. We plan to return.
This was a great rental which looks bigger and better than the photos make it look. Every convenience has been considered and provided including 2 types of coffee, shampoo, conditioner, spices, etc. It also has a nice patio with dining table, chairs and a grill. Well.situated for easy drives to some of northern Michigans best spots! Highly recommend.
We stayed one week. Conveniently located to Lake Leelanau area attractions. House is well stocked with essential household, cleaning and cooking items. All furniture comfortable and cozy. Very clean. We enjoyed outoor gas grill and backyard sitting area including fire pit. Highly recommend.
This home is extremely well appointed. We have stayed in quite a few Vrbo properties and this was, by far, the most well stocked one we have ever stayed in. Not only do they have everything you could want they encourage you to use whatever you need to make your stay comfortable. In addition, it was very clean and provided all the information you needed to work everything in the home.
We loved staying in this place. The host and owner was very friendly and warm. Jim welcomed us in person and made us feel at home. He had brought as a welcome pie. The place was very clean, quiet and well equipped with what we needed. The kitchen was well equipped with good appliances. We liked it was in a small community but close to all the town you want to see around Lake Michigan. The host made sure he provided us with all the amenities needed like air conditioning smart TV, address to local and nearby restaurants and shops. We really liked it and felt at home. Our pets also enjoyed it and slept well through night since it was very quiet. We thank the host and like to come back in future.
Great communication from owners, Jenny was very thorough at check in and cherry pie was awesome!! Great place to stay, very clean and everything that you could possibly need was there! We enjoyed the backyard patio, the big screen tv in the evening and the comfortable king size bed at night. Centrally located to many area attractions. Highly recommend!! Thank you for sharing your home with us!!
Great property with many amenities- great TV and beds- kitchen was well equipped- location is great for wineries- owners were very personable and a fresh cherry pie when arrived
We, Carol and Jim Ashmore, are excited to be opening our home to you. Carol was born and raised in Traverse City while Jim came from Stockbridge. For over 30 years we lived and worked down state. Returning to Leelanau County and being able to live here have been a dream come true for us
ATW also has a year round rental, with a separate entrance and separate driveway on the lower level of the house.
Having lived six months a year for eight years in the main level of our home, lower level noise has never been a problem. When we renovated ATW we made special efforts to sound proof the house as much as possible.
Family roots and a deep appreciation for the beautiful natural landscape of the area have always been a magnet for us. Carol's family has been in Leelanau County since the mid-1800's. Her mother was born and raised in Northport. Many of her cousins still live in the area. We enjoy walking the many beaches, swimming and looking for Petoskey stones, riding our bikes and sometimes just going for a ride. There is no other place we want to call home!
We're sure you will enjoy the morning sun streaming in the living room window and the evening sun warming the back yard patio. Within walking distance you will find the friendly community of Lake Leelanau with three very different places to eat, a distillery, a winery, a coffee shop and a pastry shop. Nearby Suttons Bay offers a lovely cinema and unique shopping. Historic Fishtown on Lake Michigan is a five mile drive to Leland. Traverse City, with all it offers the vacationer, is only 20 miles away. Perhaps you would like a day trip to the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore in Glen Arbor or an evening outing in Peshawbestown at the Leelanau Sands Casino. Our central location gives you a multitude of options, all close to home. And when you return home from your day's adventures, you will feel the comfort and relaxation that only home can give you.
