This was exactly as listed. Owner was very nice and replied quickly to my questions pretrip. Check in and check out easy, directions were easy to follow. Conveniently located to all the area attractions.
We spent a week at this cabin. It was everything we asked for. Our fur baby had plenty of room to roam around on her tie out. Also close to all the attractions in the area. I will definitely recommend this cabin to friends and will see if it's available for our next trip to this area.
A Tennessee mountain experience. It was comfortable. Loved the deck overlooking the deck. Even saw a bear! Not alot of kitchen supplies, but we made it work. It was a rustic cabin with reasonable cost.
Thought it was great overall I would most definitely return to this cabin. Had an awesome time thought cabin great. Also got to see three bears somewhere besides the zoo.
I thought the cabin was great. I had no problems finding it; beautiful view I have no complaints. Also would like to say the only time I've ever seen a bear was at the zoo and we seen 3 bears while we was there! Only thing is it could use an umbrella on the deck when it's sunny out.
PROPERTY MANAGER IS A SCAMMER!! We arrived at the property and couldn't get in. I had to call the property manager in order to even get in. Upon arrival we noticed bird poop and feathers, an unusual amount of dust, and general uncleanliness throughout the unit. Everything felt a little damp and The smell of mold was unreal. There were TVs in each of the bedrooms and in the living room, but no working remotes to be found. We had to download apps on our phone to get the TVs to work.
Upon leaving, the property manager tried to place my family at fault for damage to the property that we 100% were not responsible for. They said because we had a dog it had to be us but the dog that we had was a puppy that was not even 2 lb and was un-capable of doing the kind of damage they were accusing us of. Rather than listening to reason, and the photos provided even proved that that damage was older than us being there because there was paint inside the damage like somebody had tried to paint over it prior to us arriving, The property manager after we left without my consent.
I filed a dispute with my bank for the charges because he didn't even bother providing a receipt of what was bought or what was done or what was charged for. He charged us retroactively for the dog which I completely understood and was willing to accept, until he started charging us additionally for damage that my family did not do.
He then rated us as terrible guests even though I provided proof.
I picked this property due to its proximity to Dollywood. It was very easy to get to and from the park. Unfortunately that is where the good ends. This cabin was neglected and dirty. The first impression walking in was trash in the floor around the washer and dryer and cob webs covering the water heater. Every towel we pulled out was dingy and stained. There were dirty hand marks on the walls. Dust was caked into the bathroom vents. All of the baseboards were dirty and there were cobwebs on the walls and ceilings. There was food debris that had dripped or splattered on the wall beside the kitchen trash can. I donât know where a cleaning fee is used, but it is certainly not being used to clean the property.
Driveway a little difficult depending on your vehicle. Would advise having the outside flood lights left on for late night guests. The driveway is narrow and has no indication of drop off. Top side has markings. The house needs some serious maintenance. The floors are not level and sinking in areas. Master shower feels like you are sinking into the floor from back to front of the shower. Everything is dated and needs TLC. The bath linens need to be at lease Walmart quality. A coffee pot that uses k-cups. Bath soap and Kleenex in the bath rooms, Was not worth what we paid. My friends and I travel frequently and use private lodging. We all live in Tennessee and are use to hillside lodging. Iâm sorry that I need to be critical of this property as the host provided us with great details of directions, entrance instructions and follow up. Never again!
Surface was clean but cobwebs on windows and very dirty under furniture. Furniture old and outdated. Beds uncomfortable. Lots of dead bugs. Door had gap in it. 2 days before stay was told place was not available and ended up in smaller place. Received $100 credit. When looked place up on VRBO it was cheaper than the $100 credit I received. I feel I should have gotten at least a $200 credit. Was not worth what I paid for it.
nice, clean. Beds however need to be more comfortable. The owner was extremely helpful and always responded quickly if needed. nice place just older style not fancy but comfortable. The only complaint i really have it was difficult to get up to the drive way and beds need to be upgraded
The only issue we had was locating the property after dark. The signs need to be brighter and one was totally broken and you couldn't read it but we called the number at 11:30 p.m. and he was very helpful.
This cabin was convenient to all that Pigeon Forge has to offer, but was nestled into the mountain away from all the business! Our family had plenty of room!
The property was as advertised. A quaint, cute, rustic beautiful cabin situated in a beautiful area. My family thoroughly enjoyed their stay here. The cabin does need a little updating, a little TLC, but it was well worth the price we paid to stay. We will definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay! The cabin was easy to find with the clear directions we were given. A little tricky to navigate the drive up to the cabin, but that is the way it is in that area. Checkin was simple. The cabin is a little dated but it was clean and cozy and had all the conveniences we needed. The view is wonderful from the top of the mountain. We enjoyed the mornings with a cup of coffee sitting out on the deck over looking the hillside. The cabin is just a short drive from all the shops and restaurants, but secluded enough to make you feel so far away from everything.
The cabin was a great size, for myself, husband, our 2 adult boys, & our dogs. Walt was really good, with any questions. The only complaint was the beds are very hard.
