Wonderful Property

The entire package if you are looking for a clean, updated and nice family or friends getaway. Plenty of room, amenities were fabulous. We will be booking this property again in the future.

Exactly what we needed

We had four days in Orlando for volleyball nationals. There were hotels closer to the convention center, but having the space to spread out and get away from it all was great. Clean, updated, good room set up.

A Perfect Stay

We enjoyed our visit here. Everything was just like the pictures. I do feel with all the money you spend, you shouldn't have to pay to get the pool heated.I understand the grill charge because you have to clean it, even though we could have done it ourselves. Other than that it was perfect. The boy's enjoyed themselves a lot.

Nice place and location to Seaworld

I really did like the townhouse. Everything was accommodating and nice. The 1 problem with communication was the tvs upstairs in 2 of the bedrooms didn’t work and I didn’t get a response when I emailed about it.

Good stay

Condo was clean and sanitized just as listed. Everything worked and had nonproblems for all three days. Close to everything and a gated community. Very quite. We enjoyed our stay.

Orlando weekend

The house was amazing and had everything we needed. The getting on property was a little chaotic due to me just sending information in on the 16th, but no one listed our names so we had to wait for a while to get in. The man that helped from the 1-800 number was not very helpful and I had to get upset for him to realize we had just driven 8 hours and did not want to wait any longer to get in.

Nice place. Very clean and spacious with plenty of room for a party of 8. Great location. Close to Disney, grocery stores and other shopping. There are extra charges to use the grill For the week ($35?) and to heat the pool daily (around $20 per day) so we didn’t use those. The club house also charges for most things other than pool (like mini golf) and food was more expensive than Magic Kingdom.

Listing was exactly as shown. Only gave 4 stars because checkin email was from a different place so I thought it was spam causing our checkin process aggravating. Otherwise location close to all parks and kids loved the pools at resort.

Our stay at this Vrbo property was overall very good, but there were a few issues worth mentioning. We arrived late on a Friday night and found that the arrival instructions provided were inaccurate. We were given incorrect information and should have been directed to the main location first to get gate access. On our first day, we noticed that the coffee pot was cracked. Despite being there for a total of eight days, the coffee pot was never replaced. Additionally, we were unable to use the microwave as it caused the breaker to flip every time. Although maintenance came out and said they fixed it, we still couldn't use it throughout our stay. On the positive side, the property had a van service that would pick you up and take you to the pool and back home free of charge, which was very safe and convenient. The condo was clean and had all the necessities for a family. However, if you are planning on cooking, be aware that the kitchen utensils and pots and pans were very limited. We had to eat out most of the time because there were not enough pots and pans to accommodate five people. Despite these issues, our visit was good overall, and we enjoyed our stay.

Great Location

I loved this location! It was very close for us to ESPN and Disney! 2 min from Publix and Starbucks! Property manager very helpful and made communication very easy…always getting back to me in a timely manner! Any questions and/or concerns I had he was very helpful and understanding! Clean for the most part! Noticed a few tiny minor things but nothing I would make a big deal about! I already saved this property and will be returning in the near future! Thank you so much! Highly recommend!

Property was perfect location for us. The unit was clean, had everything we needed. Not an abundance of kitchen supplies but we didn't need a lot. We would definitely stay here again.

Community facilities--pool, lazy river, slides, mini golf, kayaking--was great. Also good was this unit's location right across from playground which kids very much enjoyed. Townhome apt. itself was nice too (as advertised). Only issue was the bizarre TV/cable setup (as another reviewer mentioned) but you're not visiting Orlando to watch TV..

Good property, bad management

Had problems with the air conditioner that could not cool the house at the set thermostat temperature. After going round and round with the owner, they finally offered to refund the first uncomfortable night and sent A/C person to check it out the next day. That day, we returned from the parks with the house nice and cool. The rest of the 5 days the A/C never reached that cool temp again. We spoke to an A/C professional that works on our properties in a hot, humid climate as well and agreed with us based on the information the owner gave us that the air temp coming out of the vents was not cool enough to cool the whole house. The owner refused to admit it was a problem, so we decided to not let it ruin our vacation. The location and Story Lake Resort amenities were great! If you rent this property, bring big fans. There are no ceiling fans in 2 of the bedrooms. I had to nag the owner to provide proof of the 1 night refund. So after 2 days from check out, I finally got confirmation, however taxes were not refunded as well. The owner text me they do not collect these so he couldn’t refund. So I contacted VRBO who told me the owner DOES collect the total amounts including taxes and pays VRBO their service fee from it. The owner then refunded me the taxes, but after I had to spend a considerable amount of my time trying to get it back and got VRBO involved. VRBO was great handling this problem for us. Because the owner lied and denied the A/C problem, I will never rent from Jose Callado or DecoNova Vacation Homes ever again.

It could have been better

Nice property but the cable in the living room didn’t work so if you enjoy tv with your family, this place didn’t have it. Also bring your own EVERYTHING. We even had to replace the batteries in ALL of the remote controls

Poot property management !

Home was nice , but could not get a hold of property manager to advise of emergency until I had to call Vrbo . Pool was spirting water and emptying out . Was Corrected but lost 2 days of heated pool use paid for . Could not use grill that was locked , but paid for as well . Lost 3 days . Property manager did not respond to chat for Vrbo for hours and sometimes days . No contact or communication . Sent emails for damage pics on arrivals date for days and no response or acknowledgment!!! Poor customer serve . But nice home overall . I would rent again only not with Decanova mgmt company . Hopefully they will refund my days lost a they promised .

This home was perfect. Price, location & size. The community pool was definitely a plus, my kids enjoyed the slides & the lazy river. Home was very clean & beautifully decorated. I would definitely book this one again.
