Perfect location in the heart of the historic district. Place was small but had everything we needed for a short one night stay. We spent most of our time wandering the beautiful streets outside. Be aware there is a rather steep narrow set of stairs to get to the unit if you have any accessibility issues or large heavy luggage.

Filthy place. Beds unmade & towels on the floor. 25 min walk to Riverstreet. Ended up getting a hotel room close to Riverstreet.

Thank you for your feedback, Curtiss. I apologize for the condition of the home upon your arrival. This was the result of an unexpected breakdown with our cleaning team on a last-minute booking, which is not reflective of our normal standards. We issued a full refund immediately, as we agreed this fell short of expectations. Our prior guest reviews have consistently reflected a clean, well-prepared home, and we have addressed this internally to ensure it does not happen again. For clarity, the property is located in the heart of Savannah’s Historic District, within close proximity to River Street and other downtown landmarks. That said, we understand the experience did not meet your needs, and we regret that.

Great breakfast cafe up the street. Utensils and amenities as described. Good supply of towels and paper supplies. Good access to parks and walking around town and to the river. The stairs can be a bit steep for carrying luggage up and down. There should be instructions for heater/AC unit - worked well once we understood.

It was cozy and convenient. We walked to everything. What a beautiful city! And it happened to be Wag-O-Ween so our dog was extra lucky.

When we arrived, we couldn't enter the unit. We couldn't find the street parking listed in the description. So I called the host. Come to find out the cleaner was in unit cleaning (no big deal) and the host was extremely rude on the phone!! He communicates great on VRBO but very rude on the phone. Taylor Street is a block away and packed full. Best description of parking is there is a 24/7 pay to park at the end of the lane. It's 33 a day to park. Host should understand travelers are not from the area and doesn't know street names right off the bat! TV and lamp by bed didn't work due to the outlets didn't work. There's a soft spot in floor by balcony door. Paint is peeling on walls. There's a wall behind microwave pulling apart from the rest of the wall. Never saw how to get to grill and lanai listed. I did see it when I walked out of balcony for a second.If you want a cheaper place to stay, where you can walk to everything, this is a good place. Just know you get what you pay for. I chose this place because it was the cheaper of the ones I liked. I ended up spending the difference in parking, had a rude conversation with host when asking questions when I first arrived, and then had issues with electrical outlets not working. So I got what I paid for. Will definitely stay in Savannah again but NOT with this host or place

Answering questions is part of hosting, and even when a conversation is challenging, it should remain respectful. Your comments about parking and access to the advertised amenities highlight where clearer directions would help. I also take your reports about the outlets, flooring, and walls seriously; those concerns deserve attention regardless of the nightly rate. While you appreciated the walkable location, I regret that the overall experience fell short of your expectations.

Great location with everything in walking distance. Enjoyed siting out on the patio. Very affordable & comfortable for a couple. Communication was excellent with the host. Highly recommend & would stay again.

Savannah getaway.

The property is perfectly located between the touristy historic district and the more local driven Victorian district. Once we parked our vehicle we were able to walk everywhere. This property will be our first choice for all of our future Savannah visits.
