Very clean location was good bed was comfortable even though I couldnât sleep. I would have given it 5 stars if knowing we had a dog the yard would have been mowed. Also we received a message to keep the pet off the bed and furniture which I feel makes it not pet friendly. I spent my night stressing to keep them down. Itâs a 11 pound dog that has never once slept anywhere but my bed. I would not stay again due to this request
Small efficiency apartment nestled on the rear of a two story dwelling in a quiet neighborhood just outside the downtown of Yellow Springs, OH. Unit is well pictured on VRBO listing. Parking is sufficient for one vehicle on right side of driveway. Dwelling is shared with residents who occupy remaining portion. Comfortably furnished with couches and queen sized bed. Snacks and coffee provided with Keurig coffee maker. Roku tv with apps permit access to streaming services. A small refrigerator and toaster oven are also available. Cups, plates, utensils and wine glasses were sufficient for a couple to use. Owners were very receptive to any concerns (WiFi was initially not accessible but owner answered questions immediately and resolved issues). Suitable for a couple who is not looking for anything extra but a place to relax for downtime while visiting YS.
The outside of the home is deceiving. It is a little unkempt. A few spider webs, walkway could use some attention. The deck furniture was not inviting to sit on. And the backyard was neglected. I felt uncomfortable and did not allow my dog back there. The inside was clean and comfy but did not have some of the amenities listed.
A great place to stay while bringing our daughter back to college. Clean and comfortable. Limited cooking facilities as described. Very suitable if you are going to mostly eat out.
It's a cute little place and I would say it was worth the money. I was disappointed there was no microwave even though it was listed in the amenities. I was also disappointed that the entry way was very dark - not well lit at all and for somebody with artificial hips and a fear falling it's not a good fit.
We had a wonderful stay in yellow springs. The place had a great little porch to sit and enjoy our coffee and relax. Inside was very clean and comfortable. The hosts put together a great guide for the area and we found it to be very helpful. We had a very small issue with accessing our room, and the host was quick to respond and walk us through. We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again on our next trip to yellow springs.
This is cute spot and nestled in the neighborhood. It is well taken care of and a great price. However, it is clear though that the person who lived in the unit was a smoker and the furniture, carpets, etc. hold that smell. It was unpleasant for us but would be a major issue for someone who had even the mildest allergy to smoke. This needs to be disclosed.
Comfy, clean, close to town and quiet. The place is even nicer in person than it looks in photos. There is no formal kitchen, but it has coffee maker, microwave and mini-fridge. It's kinda like staying at a stylish two-room Hampton Inn with a washer and dryer in your suite. And adorable bunny rabbits about the yard. Highly recommend!
I was in town for a wedding and a couple of days to relax and unplug. When I arrived I met the host (Jon) briefly outside. He was very welcoming, and pleasant. We had a great conversation, and he was available by text if I needed anything. The space is like an in-law suite connected to their home. So you share a wall. There was no issue with noise or privacy. The home was clean and had everything I needed. Plenty of privacy and close to downtown, within walking distance. I did some shopping, checked out a local brewery and went on a long hike. While at the house I was able to sit outside on the wooden deck and relax. Sitting outside saw bunnies, baby squirrels and even a deer walking through the neighborhood. Check in and out was easy. I would definitely stay here again. :)
Tucked away in quite neighboorhood is this hidden gem! Suite is just as described and as photos show except the bedroom is larger than it looks! Comfortable bed , soft sheets and blankets. Hope to get to stay again!
Thank you for a lovely long weekend. We enjoyed the very comfortable bed, responsive communication from our hosts, and walkable location to the town center. Would stay again easily!
The space was perfect for me. I came alone, and didn't need to cook. It was so comfortable and clean. The host provided everything I needed. The location was quiet, and close to everything I wanted to do while in Yellow Springs. Highly recommend for 1-2 people who are coming to enjoy Yellow Springs!
The bed was large and comfortable. The only sink in the place was the bathroom so for someone who drinks a lot of water and stayed for a few days, it was less than ideal. My fault for not noticing that when I booked. The location is nice and close to town so walked there a couple times. I didn't check out the icecream shop but it looked yummy!
Perfect for one or two who like eating out. Walking distance to the coolest part of Yellow Springs and a short drive to nature preserves and the state park. Dayton's Aullwood and
