L’unité # 6-104 est une unité bien entretenue de 2BR / 2BA située au rez-de-chaussée d’un complexe fermé en front de mer de 15 acres au Keauhou Kona Surf & Racquet Club. C'est aussi une unité de coin avec un grand, enveloppant, SCREENED IN LANA - parfait pour déguster une tasse de café Kona ou un Mai Tai en soirée.

Le Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club est une communauté fermée de condominiums. Il y a trois courts de tennis de style professionnel avec éclairage de nuit; un professionnel du tennis est présent tous les jours pour des cours ou un coaching pour améliorer le jeu.
La grande piscine récemment rénovée (refaite en 2016) est idéale pour les tours et les activités nautiques pour les petits enfants. Les douches et les toilettes sont idéalement situées dans le grand pavillon près de la piscine et des courts de tennis.

Relaxing in Paradise

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this resort. The unit supplied us with lots of beach accessories, which really came in handy. We spent many hours relaxing on the lanai. The lanai as well as the unit adequately accommodated our family of eight. We would definitely book here again.

Be aware of extra charges

The condo was great. We enjoyed our stay very much. Was disappointed to find a 1500 dollar charge on our credit card with no explanation or receipt. When we questioned VRBO , they stated it was for AC. They stated we asked for this on the booking site. We have no recollection of this. I would rather know our total cost up front so would rather the AC be added into the cost per night at the beginning. Otherwise our trip was excellent.

Wonderful Stay

Being away from the crowds (but close -- really, walking distance -- to a beach and shopping center with restaurants) was important to us and this location was perfect. The unit is spacious and clean, and the resort is beautifully maintained. Great kitchen with all we needed for cooking meals. Would stay here again if we return to the Big Island.

Great condo!

Very nice... loved the fact that it has 2 ensuites with the 2 bedrooms! The screened in porch was great for mornings and evenings! As a note, the screened in porch screen door out to grass area doesn't lock properly. We really enjoyed the property!

Great home, great location.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, Nice property. Home was well maintained and clean. Had boogie boards, chairs, sand toys, and beach towels that made the beach days so much better. Kitchen was very impressive with cookware / utensils you may need and spices. Had a great island guide book to help plan your days.Only complaint would be that you pay extra for air conditioning (totally fine) but the screen in the window of the front bedroom doesn't seal or lock (there was some tape trying to hold it shut but it's still gapped). So you have to be okay with sleeping with your window screen gapped by your head or a very warm bedroom(if you don't pay for a/c). With the windows open the house cools off beautifully (no A/C needed)

Great place to stay!

Our stay was nothing short of amazing! Check-in and was smooth and contactless. Place was clean and had everything we needed to make meals and entertain our family. Enclosed lanai was great bonus! Pool and surrounding amenities were perfect for the younger and older kids. Would definitely book again!

Beware of Check Out Procedures!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay, however, the check out email was a very sad and unpleasant experience. Our family was careful with the white carpet in the living/dining room areas. We cleaned and followed check out protocol. We did not use the lanai area for entertaining, except for the diningroom table for the children (no white carpet and the tile was easy to wipe up any little spills). Upon checkout, we made sure the diningroom table was wiped off. There is a blue couch in the lanai. Since we did not use the seating in the lanai, nobody thought to check the couch. Apparently our two year old touched the cushions with his sticky pineapple popsicle hands and we didn't see the marks. The cleaning staff refused to spot clean the sticky spots and the entire couch along with throw pillows were professionally steam cleaned and we were charged $261.00. I received an email two days after checking out notifying me of the charges. I immediately asked why the cleaning staff did not spot clean and was told there was not time because of an incoming reservation. I called the steam cleaning company and they verified that the cleaning was done 2 days after our check out and that the unit was empty. When I reached back out to Knutson & Associates about the "LIE" they provided me, they changed the story and said that the cleaning was beyond their staff's capabilities. Since you are forced to pay an insurance fee of $49 for a premium to cover $1000 worth of insurance for damage or carpet/furniture cleaning, I asked if the insurance would cover the $261. They denied our request because they said we should have reported the sticky spots before our 11 am checkout. Knutson & Associates have refused to return my phone calls and I am stuck paying for the steam cleaning. BEWARE, when you check out to look at everything with a magnifying glass. We will not rent anything associated with Knutson & Associates again.

Amazing Unit

It was more than we imagined and was such a calm and relaxing facility to be at. The amenities were top notch. We had one minor problem that was immediately fixed. Absolutely no complaints!

Great visit!

The unit exceeded our expectations! It was clean and inviting. Easy check in and access with codes only. Every gadget and convenience we needed was there. We particularly enjoyed the screened porch! Quick walk to the beach. All we wanted!

Read fine print outside of VRBO. You sign a contract with property managment company.

Kona Racquet club is good. Nice grounds and good location south of Kona Town area. Knutson is difficult to deal with and unfriendly. After our contract was signed with them and rooms booked 7 months in advance they told us we would need to check out the last day of trip at 7:00am because the building needed to be exterminated for bugs. Our flight that day was at 7:00pm. During our flight to Kona they tried to charge our card because the additional Air Conditioning fee wasn't added. They told us the A/c units will be shut off before our arrival. This was all in a voicemail that we couldn't receive on the plane and do anything about until the following day after we landed. My son called to pay for additional A/C fee but their credit card machine wasn't working. He offered to drive to office to pay but they couldn't accept cash. He ultimately had to drive to their personal bank to make a deposit directly into their account. 🙃 Although the condo was equipped with everything imaginable . It could have been cleaner and updated. The cost of the condo and advertising pictures did not meet our expectations.
