We stayed at Dog House for a short staycation. It's in a great location, we were able to walk many places. Our dog loved the relatively quiet walks and the dog bed downstairs. The house is beautiful and felt very comfortable for two people and a pup. We're looking forward to visiting again!

Great, great location in Alexandria. If you’re traveling with pets, the Dog House is an excellent choice. We had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay immensely!

We absolutely loved our stay! The property and the area are both fabulous, and we completely fell in love with Old Town. The home was the perfect size for the three of us and had everything we could possibly need.We only moved our car twice during our five-day stay because we were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go or easily use the bus and Metro into the city. Street parking was never an issue for us. There is some busy morning traffic in front of the house, but it didn’t bother us at all.This was by far the most well-stocked rental we have ever stayed in. All of the thoughtful little extras really made the house feel like home and made our stay even more enjoyable. The house was incredibly clean, beautifully decorated, and the shower was absolutely heavenly!The only bathroom is upstairs, which wasn’t an issue for us. I would recommend that light sleepers bring a white noise machine, especially if staying in the smaller front bedroom, as there is some traffic noise. We take one with us everywhere we travel, so it wasn’t a problem for us at all.We truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely return. We can’t wait to visit Old Town again!

Adorable house! We loved all the little touches. Very conveniently located. We enjoyed the coffee shop around the corner every morning. There are many restaurants and shops within a quick walk. Street parking was no problem at all. We got the same space on the side street every time. Couldn't ask for anything more!

The Dog House was a perfect solution for my wife and I on a recent house hunting trip. Free and readily available parking was great. We enjoyed walks around Old Town. The house was well appointed and comfortable for up to four. Balducci’s market nearby was excellent.

We truly enjoyed staying at the Dog House in Alexandria. The property was very comfortable with this open wooden staircase leading to a cool catwalk between the comfy bedrooms. The Kitchen was loaded with amenities, and there was a nice dining area and patio. We were easily able to walk around Old Town Alexandria without needing the car. And there was free parking too. Thank you to the host for making our visit to our son’s UMD graduation so special.

This is a great property - clean, well appointed kitchen, and very cozy and comfortable. It felt like home the moment we walked in. There is ample parking right in front of the home (free street parking). Do note that this not an accessible home - lots of steps between rooms and bedrooms/bath are on second floor. Also, the nearest metro station is about a 30 minute walk from the home. From there you can get downtown D.C. in 30 minutes.

We had a wonderful stay at the Dog House! The house is spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen and bathroom are well-stocked. The space was very clean. We loved sitting on the back patio in the afternoon. We were also just a 15 min walk from King Street, so we were able to get to restaurants and shops very easily. Joel was a very accommodating host and quick to respond. We would stay here again!

Awesome little spot.

The unit was as advertised, great location, parking is a little tricky but other that an absolute 5 star place to stay in Old Town.

Unique and comfortable Old Town House at great location! The house has been recently renovated and combines modern and original. It was perfect for me and my teens and our doodle was welcomed which was a big plus for us. The host is very responsive and house very well equipped with new appliances and washer/dryer. The little patio outside is sweet and would be lovely to enjoy in the warmer seasons (we were there in winter). Highly recommend and we plan to be back!

We really enjoyed our stay in Old Town Alexandria! The house was very clean and complete with all the amenities we needed. Parking was easy to find and it was a quick bus ride to the metro to head into DC. Everyone had a great time!
