We really enjoyed our stay here. There was 8 of us which was a very comfortable number (could have had more people). House was well stocked and the management contact was prompt and easy to talk to. Would stay here again!
Our visit was very nice. The house is comfortable, though laid out in a way that is unconventional...keeping in mind that it is an old house and the bathrooms were added where space was available.
Really enjoyed our night here! Def had that Charleston feel. Minutes walk to great coffee and breakfast (Holey City Bagels) and minutes drive to great dinner (Rodney Scott BBQ). Beds incredible. Would book again.
Cute home conveniently located just off King Street. Short hop to the Battery or I 26 to go to N Charleston. Would definately stay again. The only thing I didn't care for were the narrow Charleston streets with on street parking which the property owner has no control over.
We had 10 girls comfortably in this home for a bachelorette party. The location is unbeatable, perfect walking distance to King Street. The communication with the team was easy and quick always. I would recommend it!
The whole home leans a little (you just have to experience it for yourself) but it was a great house for us. It was very easy to walk right out the door and take our dogs for a walk. There were bars and restaurants within walking distance and most are pet friendly.
Very cute older home in a great location. We had a few problems with the home but David could not have been better at solving them. He was so accessible and really cared that we were happy!
Convenient to why I was there for work. Needed quick access to The Riverdogs stadium and Stoney Field. Comfortable beds after a long day of work. A large SUV in the driveway can be challenging. Felt safe in the neighborhood.
This property was in an ideal location and was walkable to everywhere. There were 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms so plenty of room for 8 ladies.
I read the reviews about the kitchen seating and they added a counter height table and stools, which was perfect for gathering when we cooked dinner. Great Job David!!
My family of 5 stay at this historic house with everything that you need as your own home, comfortable beds, great kitchen , 2 bathrooms (1 upstairs, 1 downstairs) 2 porches up and downstairs, parking for 3 cars washer and dryer and there was space enough to fit at least another 4 people, David was a great host and promptly responded to all our needs, also this house is close to so many places in Charleston that you can wallk to I had a great time at your house thank you so much. Danny
Location is great to get to everything, BUT be aware that you can hear every single occurrence that walks by. The driveway is REALLY tight, so driving an SUV, pick a side to get out on, because both sides are not an option. Needs some love in the house overall, but Charleston charm wins.

1890s Stay
Neat historic home. Would have been nice to have extra towels and sheets. One room needed to be changed upon arrival.
Bathrooms are tiny and hot water abs pressure wasn't great upstairs. Again know it's a historical home.
Beds were very comfortable and fans in every room!
This wasn't our first choice, but because of unforeseen circumstances with our first choice this house fell in our lap. It was beautiful inside and able to accommodate all 6 of us comfortably. The kitchen was fully stocked and having a bbq grill opened our cooking options. The location was great too! Two doors down was a pizzeria, a block and a half walk one way was a bakery and the other way a produce stand. I would definitely stay in this house again if I was in the Charleston area.
Cute house within easy walking distance of lots of restaurants, and reasonable walking distance to the tourist areas of the peninsula. It is 130 year old house, and in some ways it does show it but it was charming and we were comfortable there. The property manager was amazingly responsive before, during and afer our stay. I would recommend it
This charming Charleston house was perfect for our girls weekend. The 10 of us slept comfortably and the beds were awesome.
The home was built in 1890 so itâs creaky and original. Itâs great for a group who wants to explore Charleston as itâs a 5 minute walk to King Street which was AWESOME! The house had everything we needed, check in was a breeze, the house was comfortable and cooled down quickly for an old home. The house owners provide stand fans for all of the rooms which made the sleeping arrangements that much more comfortable. The driveway easily fit a pick up truck and 2 mid-sized cars and the neighborhood is safe.
You canât beat the location or charm of this older Charleston home. We had a blast and would stay again!
This is an old historic home. Charming but quirky. Upstairs porch is really slanted away from the home. We could walk to a ton of places to eat but the down side of this was - so could everyone else and since the house is right on the street, they could be very loud. The house is also down the street from a fire house and the trucks go by at all hours. It was very comfortable for 6 of us (adults) but no place to sit to eat except the porch or the living room (no tables). All the beds were super comfy.
When we arrived we did notice the outside was outdated which wasnât that big of a deal. Once we entered the home my first impression was a party house. There was so many patched holes, open holes, the entire house leaned one way. House did not feel safe at all. I cannot even believe this place passes inspections. Very tight driveway. Thereâs several loose floorboards throughout the house and the porch.
We rented this house for a girls weekend with 7 people. The house was a good size for our group and we spent most of the weekend exploring Charleston, which the house was in the perfect location for. What the house lacked in it being older, it made up for in location and itâs very comfortable beds. We did have an issue when we arrived that the host and management company took care of immediately, which was much appreciated. In addition, we were woken by animal(s) in the ceiling above the 2nd floor each morning. We did not inform the host about this issue, but it should be looked at as it was quite noisy. Overall, the house was suitable for our plans, the host was very communicative before and while renting, and the issues we had didnât take away from a good stay.

House didnât compare to pictures
The house didnât compare to the pictures, understand that the house is old, but upkeep is important. The house was extremely hard to cool, the tile in the kitchen was busted up, and the washer did not work, said the part was ordered would have been nice to know beforehand.
