A long weekend getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I found Elk Springs Resort Facebook page thru a search to find a cabin for a long weekend away. It was easy to navigate the page on there was a season discount for the cabin. Once we was there the cabin was easy to find, close to the strip,and had a beautiful view. The cabin was very clean. We enjoyed playing the video game system as well as a game of pool on the pool table. The hot tub was perfect in the evenings and the see thru fireplace from the living room to the bedroom was very nice. We will definitely consider this cabin again!

Reviewer Comments: The location was great high enough to enjoy the mountains but low enough to get to the city without anxiety.......Only one issue was the old model TV, not able to use apps like Netflix and the cable channels were very limited. No TV in the bedroom just the living room. And the pockets on the pool table were worn so the balls keep hitting the floor. Otherwise cabin is as described......yes I would book again

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was what we expected. Nicely positioned with a pretty view and a good location. The cabin was clean and much like we hoped. A few little things bothered us. We couldn't get the fireplace to start. We tried one day and asked a neighbor to help us that next day. They couldn't ignite it either. There was ONE roll of toilet paper in the entire house, and that wasn't even a full roll. We looked in every cabinet and nothing else existed. Also, a box of tissues or a couple of paper cups would be welcome. The bathtub is fine but grab bars would be nice to assist in getting in and out of the tub. Little things, but they make a difference.

The interior was clean, cozy, and well-stocked with essentials, including a full kitchen that made cooking our own steak dinner feel special. The view from the deck was stunning, especially at sunset, and the hot tub was a great way to unwind after a day of exploring Gatlinburg.We loved how close it was to town for wine tasting and other activities, but still far enough out to feel secluded and quiet. The hosts were responsive and provided clear check-in instructions. Overall, it was a perfect mix of comfort, privacy, and adventure—definitely a stay we’ll remember and recommend.

The cabin had all the amenities you would want. The cabin is also conveniently located from the Alamo steakhouse, which is only a 2 min drive down the mountain.

After hiking all day it was great to unwind in the outdoor hot tub. However, the parking was tight and a little difficult, and lack of spare roll of toilet paper. One roll for 2 with 4 1/2 days .
