A long weekend getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I found Elk Springs Resort Facebook page thru a search to find a cabin for a long weekend away. It was easy to navigate the page on there was a season discount for the cabin. Once we was there the cabin was easy to find, close to the strip,and had a beautiful view. The cabin was very clean. We enjoyed playing the video game system as well as a game of pool on the pool table. The hot tub was perfect in the evenings and the see thru fireplace from the living room to the bedroom was very nice. We will definitely consider this cabin again!

We didnt get a chance to use the hot tub but i would definitely recommend this place to anyone. I would recommend a fire stick or roku for the living room tv because there is no way to watch any streaming services

The cabin itself was nice, and the game room was fun. The kitchen was adequately stocked. However, the walls and overall cabin could have been cleaner. There were spiderwebs in the corners of the ceilings.There was stains on the comforter. When we called for a new one, they were very accommodating, but sent a mantienance man over to leave new bed clothes at the door, without changing or taking the old ones. When we removed the old sheets, the mattress protector was covered in stains and hair. It was unnerving knowing the only thing between us, and that, for an entire week, would be a sheet. There was only one roll of tissue in the bathroom, so we had to buy our own. Also, the steep hill to the property wasn't ideal and should have been more accurately depicted in the listing. Overall, this cabin has the potential to be great, if better maintained.

Reviewer Comments: The location was great high enough to enjoy the mountains but low enough to get to the city without anxiety.......Only one issue was the old model TV, not able to use apps like Netflix and the cable channels were very limited. No TV in the bedroom just the living room. And the pockets on the pool table were worn so the balls keep hitting the floor. Otherwise cabin is as described......yes I would book again

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was what we expected. Nicely positioned with a pretty view and a good location. The cabin was clean and much like we hoped. A few little things bothered us. We couldn't get the fireplace to start. We tried one day and asked a neighbor to help us that next day. They couldn't ignite it either. There was ONE roll of toilet paper in the entire house, and that wasn't even a full roll. We looked in every cabinet and nothing else existed. Also, a box of tissues or a couple of paper cups would be welcome. The bathtub is fine but grab bars would be nice to assist in getting in and out of the tub. Little things, but they make a difference.

The cabin had all the amenities you would want. The cabin is also conveniently located from the Alamo steakhouse, which is only a 2 min drive down the mountain.

Really beautiful view

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Staying at the cabin was everything we hoped for and more. The location was peaceful and private—perfect for a romantic getaway. The interior was clean, cozy, and well-stocked with essentials, including a full kitchen that made cooking our own steak dinner feel special. The view from the deck was stunning, especially at sunset, and the hot tub was a great way to unwind after a day of exploring Gatlinburg.We loved how close it was to town for wine tasting and other activities, but still far enough out to feel secluded and quiet. The hosts were responsive and provided clear check-in instructions. Overall, it was a perfect mix of comfort, privacy, and adventure—definitely a stay we’ll remember and recommend.

Reviewer Comments: Overall, it was a good experience. The house just didn’t feel that clean, bed linens and living room furniture good have been cleaner and in better shape. We found bugs throughout the unit during our stay.
