La maison superbement meublée avec grande cour arrière, piscine, jacuzzi, hammam et salle de gym. Les maisons 4110 et 4114 Sun Meadow Drive avaient été connectées ensemble pour former un seul endroit sophistiqué avec près de 6 000 pieds carrés d'espace de vie. Deux pianos à queue et deux cheminées. Jusqu'à 4 voitures à l'extérieur du parking et 2 voitures à l'intérieur du garage. Laveuse, sécheuse et lave-vaisselle Bosch. Système adoucisseur d'eau. Tous les appareils électriques haut de gamme. Barre humide avec le refroidisseur à vin. Aménagement paysager méticuleusement et éclairage nocturne. Arbre vivant à l'intérieur de la maison. Belle piscine éclairée dans la grande cour arrière. La piscine est partagée avec une seule propriété de plus qui m'appartient également. Super grill. Vraiment luxueux.
Vous êtes à seulement quelques minutes en voiture de Great Museum District avec Rothko Chapel à proximité, de Theater District avec Great Alley Theatre et de Houston Symphony and Ballet Companies, la NASA est un peu plus loin, mais vaut certainement le détour. Et bien sûr, les enfants adoreraient Kemah et Galveston avec Schlitterbahn et beaucoup de plaisir à la mer.

Great pool area

The home is well appointed. The pool and grill area are excellent. You can't catch Netflix anything like that and the cable service is a bummer. The host communicates extremely well. I loved my stay.

Horrible first time experience!

What started off to be a great stay turned really bad. Communication was great until I failed to leave a review. The house was a nice house. You can tell it belonged to someone older because the house smelled really bad that we had to go get smell goods and disinfectant spray. The owner controlled the AC from the conforts of his own home. Furniture was very old and uncomfortable in the living room and the room chairs. After the owner asked for a review two days in a row (Monday 6/17 & Tuesday 6/18) and refused he comes trying to charge me $810 because he said the pool was dirty and a bunch of other things that weren’t even true. We left the house exceptionally clean, inside and out! I highly recommend NOT renting this home because he will try to get over on you.

Great host - ok property

The host was friendly and responsive. Check-in process was very easy. The house is as it appears online. It was clean, but we did encounter a few roaches in the kitchen (might just be a normal Houston occurrence, and we arrived after the city had major flooding storms). The neighborhood was not great, and we would have felt a little safer with additional locks or deadbolts. The beds and pillows were rather hard and the sheets were paper thin. The towels were very stiff and scratchy.

Mixed Experience - Clean but Lacking Transparency

We recently stayed at this property for a graduation party and our experience was mixed. Firstly, the security arrangements were inadequate. Both the front door and gate were left unlocked, with just a single key left on the dining table. This left us feeling uneasy about the safety of the property. On the communication front, while the host was responsive to our questions, there was a lack of transparency regarding additional fees. We were only informed of a per person fee for guests after completing the payment for the house, just two days before our event. This lack of upfront clarity felt deceptive, as it should have been communicated during the booking process. Furthermore, the owner's approach to confirming the number of guests for the event was less than satisfactory. Instead of clearly outlining the additional fee at the time of booking, the owner waited until the last minute, engaging in vague questioning rather than straightforward communication. Additionally, the upkeep of the property was lacking, as evidenced by the uncut grass upon our arrival. The interior, while clean, was outdated, and the locked thermostat necessitated reaching out to the host for adjustments. Overall, while the property was clean and the host responsive, the lack of transparency regarding fees and security issues left us with a less than favorable impression. Clearer communication and improved security measures would greatly enhance the guest experience.

A spacious home away from home

Home away from home, a warm and spacious house, high ceilings, with a large kitchen counter for gathering and cooking, large windows, a cozy garden with a pool. Very charming and clean house. The host is very responsive to any needs you may have during your stay that are not available. His concern stemming from the past with an overpopulation of occupants and the way they have left the house is charging an extra deposit as you complete the booking. This is to protect his interest for future renters in providing a clean and repaired home. Being mature adults, we felt the deposit unnecessary and inconvenient. The extra deposit was refunded.

Alexander is a stellar host!!

Alexander was extremely professional, personable and very accommodating as the host of this property. He was there to greet me at the home when I arrived after a five hour flight. There was a small issue with the original property that I secured that was beyond his control. He notified me immediately, presented me with another option. An upgrade to the existing booking, same fee. He handled the small misfortune with professionalism and rectified the issue immediatley. Alex engages one a cleaning service run by one of the nicest hardest workers I have ever met. She will drop everything to tend to a firedrill request from Alex, as she did to tend to a last minute request to prep up the house I enjoyed for 3 nights while in Houston. I was hesitant given the area, and the close proximity to down town Houston. Alex assured me the neighbors were stellar, he was spot on. The house provided a perfect home away from home, kitchen amenity was key! If I am ever in Houston again, I will look to Alex to secure one of his properties to stay in again!

Great family getaway!

I would like to say this was a fabulous house and we had the best time in Houston. The house was perfect and the owner could not have been more courteous and kind. We had plenty of room with all the beds and the pool was heated so we were able to enjoy it even at night when the evenings were chilly. We will definitely stay here again and look into his other beautiful homes in Houston.

A Perfect Holiday Getaway

This place was a perfect fit for us! We needed a place in Southwest Houston to spend the Christmas holiday, preferably with a pool & an open floor plan to have our family Christmas together. We found that, & more, at this property with Alex. Alex is a wonderful & sincere host, & he's a big reason we will be returning next time we are in Houston. The house has three bedrooms on either side of the high-ceilinged great room. This large area includes a beautiful kitchen with an enormous central isl&, a family room with several couches, & a side area next to the kitchen with another couch & coffee table--tons of room. Houston has a large number of great & diverse restaurants, but this trip, we did our own cooking. The kitchen was well stocked, there is a Kroger about 8 minutes away, & we filled the large modern fridge to its bursting point for the 9 days we were there. The beds were comfortable & the hot water never-ending. We arrived during an unexpected cold snap, but the central air/heating did its job. But the jewel of this place was its in-ground pool, complete with a fountain & 3 small decorative waterfalls. We worked with Alex in advance & he had the pool heated for us when we arrived. (You'll need to notify him if you want the pool heated. See the details of this property for info). We spent almost every day in or around the pool. We live in Michigan & it was fantastic to soak in a heated pool, & on the warmer days, to lounge about in the sun. There are two grills on the patio, & we used them a few times for winter cookouts. Just being able to spend most of our time outdoors was a luxury we normally don't have at Christmas! :-) The place is in a quiet neighborhood, but it never took us more than 15 minutes to get anywhere we wanted to go. This included an evening trip to the Houston Zoo to see the Christmas Zoo lights, as well as a few shopping excursions, including one to the Galleria. Since we did most of our cooking & eating here, we did find a need for a few more pieces of silverware in the kitchen. Within an hour of talking to Alex, we had another full set of silverware in our h&s, delivered by his wonderful helper Beatriz. Alex checked on us a few times via text over the nine days to ensure we were doing ok. It was a nice touch & we felt well taken care of. Besides the quiet location, beautiful patio an pool, and the open floor plan, it was Alex that made this a perfect 5-star stay for us. Take my word: this is the place to stay!

I live in Houston since 1974. NASA was my employer at that time. After that I had been working for various oil and gas equipment companies. This year my wife and I decided to start hosting business. We both like to be busy and work with people.

Spacious three bedroom house with high ceilings living room, kitchen island with top appliances such as gas and electric stove, convection and microwave ovens by Sub-Zero Woolf. Modern wet bar and a wine rack.

Each bedroom has Queen size bed with its own WiFi connection.

Outside gas and charcoal grills. Wonderfully landscaped backyard with lighted swimming pool. The property is totally private. Great grill. Truly luxurious.
You are only a short drive from great Museum District with Rothko Chapel near by, Theater District with great Alley Theater and Houston Symphony and Ballet Companies, NASA is a bit further but certainly is worth the trip. And of course kids would love Kemah and Galveston with Schlitterbahn and great fun at the sea.
