C'est notre 4Úme maison sur VRBO. L'emplacement idéal et une vue d'un million de dollars.

Ceci est un million de dollars, propriété récemment remaniée avec l'une des meilleures vues dans toute la riviÚre Crystal. Situé sur une péninsule sur la riviÚre principale, il y a une vue à 180 degrés sur la riviÚre jusqu'à King's Bay!

Cette maison dispose de 3 chambres / salles de bain complÚtes et d'une chambre avec lits superposés parfaite pour les enfants et les familles. Une cuisine complÚte et une salle familiale au deuxiÚme étage et une salle de jeu au rez-de-chaussée en font la maison idéale pour plusieurs familles et enfants. Un quai peut contenir votre bateau avec les kayaks qui viennent avec la maison.

Very nice, comfortable home! Had a nice pool and lots of pool and river toys (we didn't really use any river stuff but kayaks and stand up boards were available). Interior has an extra refrigerator downstairs, which we took advantage of. Master bed was very soft (not my liking but my wife loved it). Downsides: Outside could use some landscape work like trimming and clean up. The dock was very tricky for my 22.5' boat. No lift (there is one but it is inoperable), so we had to carefully tie it off to account for the tide and lots of wake. The house is in an open throttle section so you get tons of wake. Nice long driveway so plenty of room to park 4 cars and our boat trailer. We used two ramps and preferred Pete's Pier over the one at the park (very shallow slope at the park peer; made it difficult to get the boat off the trailer). We went scalloping and a little fishing. Very fun!

Such an awesome place!

Incredible house on the water! Beautiful sunrises! Lovely palm trees on the opposite banks of the river! Dolphins playing in the morning. And the owner is very communicative. Love this place!

Overall, we had a nice time. It was very clean and a great location. There were some minor things that needed to addressed and they were. They do need new pots and pans but we made due The view was phenomenal and the pool was a lot of fun.

Perfect Getaway

We chose this property as an after-Christmas vacation for the entire family. The house could not have been better! It was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. There was plenty of room for us to spread out—adults upstairs, kids downstairs. The location was perfect! Right on the river, and close enough to town that anywhere you wanted to go was 10-15 minutes away. We will definitely go back!

Great for 3 generations

What's 10 people, ages 3 to 73 called? Extremely happy that they booked this lovely home for an early 50th anniversay family trip! The house was spacious and comfortable; great communication with the owners. The location couldn't be better for restaurants and sight-seeing. Manatees and dolphins right off the pier, bald eagles nesting nearby, cormorants, pelicans, herons, egrets.....nature all around. If you visit the area please book a manatee swim. It'll change your life. 💕 We will definitely visit again.

Great property

When we arrived the door to the lanai from the master bedroom was wide open and the house was quite warm as a result. The garage was messy and the yard was overgrown. The landscaper came while we were there enjoying the pool and outside area so that was a bit of a disturbance. The dishwasher was loaded when we arrived and there were towels in the dryer. Overall, we enjoyed the property especially the view and downstairs was perfect for the kids.

GREAT LOCATION ON THE RIVER

Our family stayed over 4th of July weekend, great locaton for watching fireworks. Easy access to Gulf for scalloping. Dock was adequate for our 24ft boat. A few things to consider: Pool was not usable since the water was too warm. A chiller would be great in this small pool. Not enough bath towels to go around and oven display is broken so no idea what temp we cooked at! Downstairs refrigerator was broken. Did see a bunch of cookies smashed between the couch cusions that apparently was missed by the cleaning crew. But overall the cleanliness was very good. Definitely recommend this property. Lots of room for large family to spread out.

“Not too far from home” summer vacation.

We brought our three generation, 14 member family to this home for our one week summer family vacation together. It was spacious, scenic, located in a wonderful neighborhood, and equipped with everything you might need including; two boat docks, several kayaks, a pool, a yard swing, and plenty of river wall edge for fishing. The huge kitchen dining table, which sat all of us simultaneously, was the focal point of all of our activities and the location of most of our family pictures. To top off the overall experience, the house manager and house owner both responded to my plea for assistance with retrieving some forgotten belongings. This was done with kindness and promptness. We’ll be back again.

Scalloping Trip

The house is in a great location and we loved being able to use the dock for our boat. Plenty of room for everyone and the kitchen has a large table that can accommodate 12+ people. However, there are not enough bath towels in the house and no pool towels at all. The range temperature readout is broken. The outside hose is full of holes. Many lightbulbs were out and need to be replaced. The master bedroom has NO blinds or curtains that cover the doors that lead outside so by 7:00am it is full daylight in the room. Outside by the pool area needs to be cleaned up as well.

Great location

Overall we had a great stay! I would recommend this house! We had several encounters with manatees out on the kayaks and just simply sitting outside watching the water. Amazing!!! I think it was overpriced but will be better as they finish updating. The updates they have done on the main floor are great! Will be nice for the bathrooms and other areas to be more modern. Beach towels would be great and some updated nicer regular bath towels. I’m sure the lighters for grill and firepit were just misplaced bc of installing new cabinets but a few of those would be handy! The new cabinets are nice! It was odd that there were several areas that had a bunch of black areas filled with dead bugs on ceilings. That would be an easy cleanup. We look forward to seeing the final updates and staying again! Thank you!!

Beautiful view

Pros: location is great, beautiful view, large home for multiple families to each have their own space. Cons: no beach towels provided, minimal bath towels provided kitchen equipment is minimal. A toaster or blender is not provided. There are no serving platters, mixing bowls, or bowls big enough for serving salads. Not one hanger in the home. There is not a mattress pad or pillow covers on master mattress. Pillows and bed topper are dirty with stains when sheets were removed at check out. Bath and kitchen mats needs to be replaced. Dock has missing and loose boards. No firewood is provided. Outdoor screened in porch has no furniture, black stone was filthy, grease drain was full. Pretreated pressured wood was left in a pile on cement slab for a fire. Bunk room is not decorated and mattresses were uncomfortable. minimal lamps mostly only overhead lighting throughout house. Wall art was on the floor downstairs assuming they haven’t gotten around to hanging them up. This house would be an amazing rental with some investment of adding the above to ensure guests feel they have what they need to have a stress free stay. A starter pack for the bonfire, shampoo, conditioner and body wash in bathrooms (small shampoo and bar of soap is provided). Simple touches that make the home feel warm and inviting. Would not stay at this location again.

Inside very spacious and clean. Location was amazing. The yard was overgrown as well as unkept growth in pool area. When contacting Host Ginger, she took care of it immediately. Despite some issues which were communicated to the owner and host during and after our stay, we had a great time with the family.

This Crystal River home was ideally located on the river, with great access to the gulf for scalloping and everything the river has to offer (springs, restaurants and fuel docks).We had three families staying with us. The house had plenty of room for everyone and great views of the river.None of my feedback would stop us from renting again, but like a few other reviews have mentioned, the owners should consider doing a walk through of the house occasionally to ensure there are adequate kitchen necessities (sharp knives, cutting boards, large pots, hot pads). Also, for those renters that see the blackstone in the picture, it’s not the same one at the house - it only has 2 burners and a requires significant cleaning (we chose to use the gas grill instead). Also, for those sleeping in the master, there are no blinds so you can enjoy the sunrise .For boaters, bring plenty of fenders. The dock is on the main river and you will encounter boat wake. The dock only has some pool noodles attached to the pillars. Also, as another note, the hose for wash down only reaches about half way down the dock.As I mentioned, none of the feedback would prevent us from renting again, just being provided as opportunities for improvement.

Perfect location for relaxing Spring Break

Our family traveled to Crystal River with 2 other families and shared the Million Dollar Mansion. It was perfect for our 6 adults and 5 teens/tweens. The house is perfectly split between upstairs and downstairs. The bunkroom downstairs fit our 5 kids and the grownups got the upstairs bedrooms. The big dining room table was great for shared meals and board games. The location, on the water, is gorgeous. We saw so much wildlife (manatees!) from the dock and while using the paddleboards and kayaks. The pool was a treat, too! If you like to cook for a group while on vacation, you might want to bring some supplies. There weren't any big pots, but plenty of bigger pans. We made due just fine. We didn't use the grill, but it's an option, too. The location is ideal. Quiet but close to the beach (9 minutes), boat rentals (Twin Rivers Marina - 5 minutes), and downtown Crystal River (10 minutes). We'd definitely stay again!

Great location and floor plan -- Many disappointing details

Great house for a multi-generational family group, Location is beautiful. To be fair, house was flooded by Hurricane Helene and there was evidence of major work done to restore it on the first floor, but the items below could all have been handled in advance of our arrival if the owner/manager had inspected the house carefully: All bathroom ceiling fans are inoperative. Some electrical outlets in kitchen inoperative. Gas fireplace shut off. Gas tank lying on its side in yard. Flat top gas grill too filthy to use. Propane cylinders empty. Ditto for Rusty Weber charcoal bowl. Solar pool heater disconnected. Pool needs vacuuming. Oven temperature display has burned out pixels -- impossible to set temperature accurately. Burned out light bulbs - no spares available. Spares delivered by UPS after we bought our own. Downstairs refrigerator inoperative but repaired promptly when we complained. Floors dirty - cleaning poor overall. Kitchen isn't well equipped - missing many useful items: pans, measuring cups/spoons, coffee grinder, matches/lighter. Mixer has no beaters. Minimal blankets and towels. Outdoor lighting on river side all inoperative. LR Furniture old, worn and stained. Cheap "camp" bunkbeds in basement kids' bunkroom. Poor quality mattresses in BR2 and BR3. Mattress pads stained. Few hangars in closets. Railing post at top of stairs loose - a falling hazard. Downstairs toilet burbles when upstairs shower used. No curtains/blinds on MBR deck doors.

Property Manager was very responsive and tried to help with minor internet issue. ( we used our hot spots/so no big deal) Great location for our trip,boat launch was easy as we put in at Petes Pier (Could almost see it from the dock) would note that this dock sits on a very very busy waterway so suggest that if you bring a boat you also bring a lot of dock bumpers as the water gets a bit rocky and your boat will move about! House was clean and ready! Check in was very easy and instructions were spot on! Pool was nice, clean and looked well taken care of. House had a lot of room and we had a great time. We saw dolphins and manatees from the dock...lots of fish jumping and sunrise was beyond words!! A few small items of note: The BlackStone Flat top grill needs a bit of love and a cover (we did not use it)! It was also out of propane if we would have used it we would have filled a tank as they had 2 others in the garage! Hammock seemed to be missing as well as the fire pit. And the racoons love the garbage :) Overall a solid 4.25 of 5...so worth it!!

The view! There aren't many houses on the river with such great views of the river. The house is perfect because it's wide open giving us plenty of room for our large family. It's a place where one can truly get away.
