This was a great spot to stay at the beach! The townhouse was perfectly equipped for a family, well-appointed, and so clean. We brought our 5 month old and the setup worked out perfectly. There is even a rocking chair in the second bedroom! Cannot recommend this place enough for a lovely relaxing trip to the beach.
Condo was great, super clean and had everything you'd need for a beach stay, including beach chairs! Sandie was wonderful and had great local information and tips, and was super responsive. Definitely would stay again!
Very clean & comfortable! Everything you need & want in a rental. Bonus was the complimentary coffee/tea bar complete with mini-muffins and snacks! Will return for sure.
Our stay was wonderful. The townhouse was nicely decorated and had all that we needed. Sandie explained everything well and even provided muffins and coffee pods.Highly recommend.
Sandie was wonderful to work with and her property did not disappoint. We were very comfortable in the townhouse/condo and appreciated all the many thoughtful details. Would 100% stay here again!
Sadie was amazing, she was there when we got there and informed us ac just broke was on it to get it fixed and she did. The space was cozy and comfortable. There was little things everywhere that if you forgot something it was there for you to use. So much better then any hotel ive ever been too. This was such a great stay, with puzzles, games, books and dvds for both kids and adults was amazing. She was so informative and we can't wait to come back down and stay in one of her properties again. So all in all you want to feel like your at home please look into booking her place for sure.
Located minutes from the beach driving. Property was well maintained. Owner met us there and gave us a tour. Left snacks and breakfast goodies for us, games and a beach play set for our daughter. It was an amazing stay and would recommend this place to anyone I know. 10/10.
We were thoroughly pleased with our stay. The property was very clean and comfortable. Fantastic location for dining and beach options. Highly recommend.
It was ok however there were three of us staying the week and only one washcloth and one bath towel for each for the entire week. I use a clean wash cloth and towel everyday. However coffee and muffins were provided.
Sandie was a wonderful host (she left us welcome snacks!) and the house was great. We were out and about mostly. The house is right off the "strip," so to speak, so shopping and restaurants and the beach are all super close. But we spent our evenings at the house playing games and eating pizza. It was really comfy-small but not cramped. The girls loved their beds (2 singles in the second bedroom). I didn't quite fit in the master bed but I'm 6'3. Everyone was really happy--our 6mo included! The pack n play on-site was really helpful. We had no complaints at all and will absolutely be back.
One of the best experiences! Sandie made us feel so welcome when she met us for a quick tour upon our arrival and shared all kinds of helpful info about the area. She has created a lovely, comfortable home away from home. Appreciated all of the details - thick towels, comfortable beds/bedding and fresh blueberry muffins to name just a few. Just wish we wouldâve had time to stay longer!
Sandie is a great host. The place is a great rental home, perfect for young family with 2 kids. The home has all the essentials for a pleasant stay. We were happy to find Sandie provided books and puzzles for kids. These help keep them busy. Kitchen have all the required pans and pots to make a meal. The place is clean and tidy. It was more than our expectation. The beach is in close proximity along with other attractions. Definitely recommend this place.
Great place to stay while in OBX. The house was super cute and comfortable. There were so many little touches that we appreciated. Communication with the host was easy - very quick to reply and very helpful. Thank you!
My husband of 30+ years and I moved to the Outer Banks after retiring from government service (me) and law enforcement (him) in the Washington, D.C. area. I am an Air Force brat who grew up primarily in and around the Nation's Capitol while my husband drifted into the area from Long Island when he was in in his mid- 20s.
I am now an artist working at stone carving and jewelry making --- an odd combo, I know, but it works for me! I also enjoy photography and some of my photos are on display in our Kitty Hawk property for your enjoyment!
I am also a crazed gardener --- I LOVE to play in the dirt --- and my garden keeps me centered. I suppose gardening is an art form and can be quite an adventure in the crazy climate of this place!
I now longer care to travel myself, but look forward to the opportunity to welcome those who travel to the Outer Banks and hope I can make some small contribution to making your visit here as wonderful as possible!
When our sons were young, we vacationed in a townhouse in the same development where our property is located. It belonged to the family of a coworker and worked well for our little family --- we have the fondest, most wonderful memories of our vacations there. When our current unit became available and we made arrangements to take a look, all those fantastic memories came rushing back and we were sold! I have done my best to furnish this home in the brightest, most pleasing way possible.
While this home can't claim a location right on the oceanfront, it is a happy and peaceful place in which to rest between adventures --- a great place to enjoy your morning coffee in the privacy of your own little patio (complete with small gardening touches because I can't help myself ...) or cook meals for your family on evenings where you'd like to stay in and enjoy movies, books or board games.
