Cette maison de 7 chambres et 6 salles de bains est le lieu de rassemblement idéal pour une retraite en famille ou entre amis. Situé dans le centre-nord de San Antonio, The Star House, a une belle vue sur le temple mormon, L. D.S. Cette maison dispose de deux suites parentales dont une comprend des barres d'appui dans la salle de bain pour ceux qui en ont besoin. Les cinq autres chambres ont un décor qui pourrait être présenté dans un magazine pour enfants ou adolescents. Le salon, la salle familiale et le loft sont de grands espaces de rassemblement pour se détendre ou regarder la télévision. Il y a une grande cuisine gastronomique et une cuisine de service qui sont parfaites pour cuisiner pour les grandes familles ou les groupes. Il y a aussi un coin cuisine avec table pouvant accueillir 8 personnes et une salle à manger décontractée avec 12 places assises. Cette maison dispose également de quatre ensembles de laveuses et sécheuses situées dans toute la maison!

La cour arrière a été conçue et modelée d'après le Texas Hill Country Resort. Il y a un terrain de basket 1/2 terrain, un trampoline, un bain à remous, une boule d'attache et une grande aire de jeux de style cabane dans les arbres avec un revêtement en caoutchouc confortable. Cette arrière-cour comprend également trois espaces de patio avec des meubles, un grand gril extérieur et un foyer Texas personnalisé pour une nuit de smores de cuisine! Dernier point, mais non des moindres, les deux grandes piscines de style complexe. Une piscine a une petite rivière paresseuse et des profondeurs de 3 ', 5', 3 'et l'autre piscine est de 9' tout au long. Avec des balançoires, des sièges et des repas en plein air, vous pourrez vous retrouver en dehors de la majorité de votre séjour!

Cette maison a une disponibilité limitée pendant que les propriétaires vivent à l'étranger. Situé à distance de marche du temple mormon, il est également proche d'une grande épicerie HEB et de nombreux restaurants situés dans la région de Stone Oak. Cresta del Cielo est également à 20 minutes de Six Flags Fiesta Texas et à 35 minutes de Sea World. Il est également situé à seulement 30 minutes de Canyon Lake, à 25 minutes du centre-ville de San Antonio et à 15 minutes de l'aéroport. C'est un bel emplacement centralisé si vous visitez la région de San Antonio.

Maddox Christmas Vacation

Best VRBO we have ever had by far and we have been doing this for 11 years...If I could give ten stars I would...Everything you could possibly need was furnished and the house itself was off the charts..We had 18 of us and every room was perfect in size, beds beyound comfortable and spacious rooms..I haven't even mentioned the "mini-resort" back yard with a pool, hot tub, basketball court, playground and fireplace and hugh BBQ pit...Kids played tag and swam every night..Entire family would recommend this property 100%!!!...Loved it!!!

Fantastic Stay

Our family had a fantastic stay in San Antonio in a great location . The home was amazing and the photo's don’t do the home justice. The home was very spacious and clean for our family including the comfortable beds. 2 Kitchens were well appointed as well as the grill outside. Loved the 4 washers and dryers as well. Our granddaughters loved the girl bedrooms, secret hiding space and reading nook. The outdoor pools, playground and basketball court kept the family busy. Courtney was a very informative regarding the home and area. We would definitely stay here again.

Pop Pop's 75th Birthday Bash

Great Family house

Enjoyable but different

This home was very fun for all ages. We enjoyed the pool and the playground as well as the large living space for our large group! However, if you are an unpacker like we are, this home may not be for you. The family resides here when no one rents it out (which is stated in the description but we failed to see that part) so all of the closets and drawers are filled with their family’s items, which was a bit different to us. Just something to note! We did enjoy our stay and the hosts were very helpful. (:

Family vacation

The house and pool were amazing. We had our 3 sons and their families for a total of 8 adults and 6 kids (age range from 5-14). All found lots to do...basketball court, outdoor swings, pool, and plenty of chairs for lounging and visiting. Comfortable evenings outdoors with pool water fall and night lighting. We had one glitch with one of the AC units breaking, so one hot night for part of our family, but repairs were made next day. Repair guy wanted to come the following day, but host demanded the fix happen sooner and it did at 10 pm that night! Do check out the bed configuration before reserving to make sure your head count jives with number and size of beds offered. Nice part of town (gated community) and convenient to HEB, BBQ and Tex-Mex restaurants.

Something for Everyone

Great Place to stay. Spacious living space. Everyone will have their own space and living area. Seperate kitchens, living and play areas for every age. 6+ bathrooms. I never heard any of the kids getting rowdy playing their games and laughing and playing. Large living and large sofas for everyone to gather and play games watch a movie or just visit. Highly Revommended.

We all had a GREAT time at the Star House. We were traveling with 6 kids ages 3-11. They all had a great time. There is so much to do at this property inside and out!! House is HUGE and very comfortable!! Great location!

Host Courtney is extremely responsive. The property was amazing and perfect for our 9 adults & 8 grandchildren. It is a resort get away within minutes of the Big City. The grandchildren loved the children themed rooms & playground. Everyone enjoyed the 2 pool concept. The 2 large eating areas accommodated the entire group. We all enjoyed our stay.

Family Weekend

Spring Break

Family Break away from everything. No Seaworld. NO Six Flags. Just played on the playground and hung out and visited. Great house to have our 3 families together as one for the the long weekend. Fantastic.

A fun family visit to San Antonio

Great vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and LOVED the pool and were in it every day multiple times. There were 17 of us staying there for a family reunion and we had a great time. While it felt odd to have the owner’s personal items around the house, Courtney was very responsive when we had questions. Loved the convenience of the location with a grocery store 4 minutes away and lots of restaurants.

Perfect for our big family get together!

This house was more than what we expected! We loved how big and how much there was to do throughout the property. The hosts were great and extremely accommodating! Courtney was a pleasure to communicate with and any minor issues that arises she notified me immediately. Our only small complain was the pool had a lot of chlorine, the host explained the situation and I understood it was unexpected and they tried their best to make the pool be as clean as possible. But since one of the biggest reasons we decided on this house was the awesome pool it was a bit disappointing. Again, I think they did the best they could and communicated. The issue before we even arrived. We would definitely stay at this house again and would recommend it to our friends and family. The property was very clean and smelled really good when we walked in.

Large home with great backyard

Our family of 14 stayed at the home. Plenty of room for everyone to be together or places for smaller groups to be together. The backyard pool, treehouse, trampoline and basketball area were a big hit with our family. Hosts were very responsive.

Great Family get-away!

We had a large family of 18 and this property was perfect. It was very comfortable with a lot of space. The outdoor area was beautiful and we had a terrific time fellowshipping around the grill and pool area. A great backyard with many amenities for the kids to play. Courtney was a fantastic host and was vey accommodating and responsive. If you are looking for a great place for a larger group, you won’t find a better property. Thank you Courtney for your hospitality.

Lots of space for our family of 15.

The outdoor space was lovely for the children. They spent lots of time out there and particularly liked the hot tub as the weather was pretty chilly. It did take quite a while for the hot tub to warm up and it didn't hold the heat very well..but they enjoyed it regardless. Toys and games galore, and shelves of books available. We were encouraged to use them and the kids did. There was plenty of room inside the house to spread out too. The full kitchen had everything we needed for our weeks stay. The beds were comfortable . The owner was very receptive to questions and communicated well. The open kitchen/living /dining area had space for all of us when we wanted to be together , but there are other family type rooms to use also. Grocery store very close and you can walk to Starbucks if you are so inclined.

Family reunion/surprise birthday party gathering

We had 18 people (5 families) to house for a surprise party for my husband. I flew everyone in from out of state and we headed to the house. The kids LOVED the backyard! It was definitely the highlight of the trip! Having that many rooms gave the adults separation from the kids and the girls could sleep in one room and the boys in another. The house was great, the neighborhood is beautiful. Starbucks, H-E-B, great restaurants all close by. Courtney was quick to respond anytime I sent her a message which I appreciated. We would definitely rent with them again! The kids were so bummed to have to go home. Everyone had a great time!

Great getaway that's close to anything you could want

The pictures don't do the house and outdoor space justice. We'd originally planned to get out and experience some of San Antonio, but - aside from some morning hiking - we stayed at the house and had a great time. Adults and kids alike very much enjoyed it. Note this is someone's actual home with their things throughout, so it's different than staying in a space that is owned for rental purposes only. Definitely pay the $ for the rental insurance.

We love this house we have lived in for the past 19 years, and it has been taken care of like it's our 10th child. It is our primary residence that we offer to you. Since we have so many children we wanted to create our own resort style living and that is where the concept of The Star House came from. It has all the amenities you could desire. I am pleased to offer you our home and hope you would take care of it as we have. It is a sacred place full of many family memories and love!

The Star House is a perfect location for all things in San Antonio. With amusement parks, downtown, outlet shopping in San Marcos, the accessibility to many area lakes it is a great gathering spot. Even with so many places to go, you will probably spend most of your time in the backyard of the house because lazy days of family fun, is what this house is all about. Also, your rental of this house helps put our kids through college!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Being so family oriented this house has a lot of originality. We have four washers and dryers located through out the house, three refrigerators, beds for 16 and one pull out couch bed to make sleeping for 18 possible. We have a sunken trampoline, elevated playground, half court basketball, grill, two large pools and oak trees spread throughout this almost 1 acre lot. And toys and games for children and grand children's delight! It couldn't be a more family friendly home.
