Thank you so much for the thoughtful review and helpful suggestions! We’re thrilled to hear your family had such a great stay and especially enjoyed the pool, outdoor area, beach shower, and kitchen. Hearing that the kitchen was one of the best-equipped homes you’ve stayed in during more than 20 years of family beach trips is such a wonderful compliment! 😊 We do provide an abundance of local restaurant recommendations in both our welcome binder and Happy Stays App, but we appreciate your feedback and will continue looking for ways to make that information even easier for guests to find. Thank you as well for the suggestion about including the best route to the beach; we will absolutely take that into consideration for our welcome information! We also would have been more than happy to help guide y’all in the right direction had you reached out. We’re always available and love helping our guests! 😊 We’re also sorry the wording regarding damaged or missing items caused any unnecessary worry during your stay. Our intention is certainly not for guests to feel concerned about normal wear and tear or items that may have already been that way upon arrival. Thank you again for staying with us and for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re so glad you had a great stay and would love to welcome your family back to Port A! 🌴☀️

We are so glad you enjoyed your time in the home. We cannot wait to see you again! We will bring this to the HOAs attention and see if this is something we can accommodate

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m so sorry to hear that your stay did not meet expectations. We hold our housekeeping standards very high, so it’s disappointing to learn the kitchen appliances were not thoroughly cleaned, I’ll be addressing this directly with our team to ensure it doesn’t happen again. In regard to the bugs, we do have a professional pest control company, ABC Pest Control, that services the property the first week of every month. While we do our best to minimize pests, since we are located on a barrier island it is not possible to fully guarantee that you won’t see a few during your stay. As for the pool area, unfortunately we do not manage every home in the community. However, if there are ever issues such as noise after hours or the pool area being messy, please reach out to us right away so we can contact the HOA and have them address it with the other management companies. The HOA also has a maintenance crew they can send out to clean and monitor the space when needed. We truly value your input, as it helps us improve. I hope we’ll have the chance to host you again and provide the quality experience you should expect.

Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re so glad to hear the house had everything you needed for a great family vacation. We really appreciate you letting us know about the noise near the pool in the evenings, that’s helpful feedback, especially for homes located right beside it. We’ll be sure to remind guests about quiet hours moving forward. We hope to welcome you and your family back again soon!

Janet, Thank you for the kind words. We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay at our home! We hope that you will consider staying with us again! Have a wonderful summer. Kim
