Sunapee Cottage - Blodgetts Landing

Beau chalet confortable, 3 chambres, 1. 5 salles de bains, 6 couchages
La location est un trois chambres, 1 et 1/2 salle de bain à quelques pas
du lac Sunapee, avec vue sur le lac et accès direct au lac.
Les chambres ont un lit queen, un lit double et deux lits simples, qui devraient accueillir 6 confortablement. Il a une grande cuisine avec coin repas, salle à manger séparée et salon. Wifi, télévision par câble et téléphone fixe sont disponibles. Cottage dispose également d'un grand porche enveloppant, véranda et poêle à bois.
Votre escapade d'été idéale pour toute la famille. Les environs comprennent des sentiers de randonnée, la location de bateaux et la ville de New London pour faire du shopping. NOUVEAU laveuse / sécheuse pleine grandeur. S'il vous plaît renseigner pour Juin, Juillet, Août et Septembre seulement. Ce chalet n'est pas à louer pendant les mois d'hiver Merci

My wife, our two dogs, and I, had a lovely few days at Grey Gables. The cottage was clean, cozy, and only steps from the lake, private dock, and sitting area. Communication was excellent. We will definitely be back.

Paradise in NH

We all made ourselves right at home. Very easy and comfortable. Everything we needed was there. As a place to get-a-way, Grey Gables was perfect. A lake house as it should be. We roamed the area, walked along the lake, sat on the dock day and night, hiked a few mountains, found local events, dining out and ice cream were near by, and just relaxed. The boat outfitter we thought we had located prior to arriving wasn’t there so acquiring canoes and kayaks was not happening. Will come better prepared next year :-)

Grey Gables Late August

We spent a wonderful week at Grey Gables in late August with 2 teenagers, 2 young adults, and our dog. There was plenty of room for the six of us and in spite of poor weather, we had a lovely time. The house was clean, well equipped, and charming especially the wraparound front porch where we spent many relaxing afternoons, reading. When the sun finally came out, the lake was glorious and refreshing. Everyone enjoyed swimming off the private dock. Our host, Rebecca, was very helpful and responsive to our needs. We had several home-cooked meals, but also enjoyed the areas, restaurants, including Bubba’s in Newbury and the Smokehouse in Sunapee Harbor. The neighborhood was quiet, friendly, a great place for the kids to walk the dog or ride bikes. I would highly recommend it and look forward to going back again soon. .

Fantastic lake cottage

We truly enjoyed the chance to escape from a busy city week and relax at Lake Sunapee on their dock, play games in the cottage, and going for a moderate hike on Mt. Kearsarge!

An absolute treasure!

It’s like going back in time authentic Victorian cottage! I am an artist and absolutely fell in love with every room. This cottage is an experience, not just a vacation. You get an opportunity to go back in time and live with the elegance of what it was like in the 1800s to experience lake Sunapee But with all the amenities of today!

Quite location

The property was nice. House was old style. You can tell improvements had been done. Shower was a little small. It would have been nice to know you could not see the view of the dock from the house. We still enjoyed our stay. Neighbors were never an issue. Everyone was quite and kept to themselves. No issues with location. Stores very close. The only thing bad about our stay was the weather. Thank you to the host for posting and allowing my family to stay.

Wonderful stay at Grey Gables

The cottage was just as described and pictured. The owners provided everything as promised in the listing and we had everything we needed for a great stay. We loved the little dock and lake access with a spectacular sunset view. The beds were comfortable and each bedroom had a fan to keep the rooms cool at night. We will definitely keep the cottage in mind if we visit the area again and we’ll tell our friends about the positive experience.

Great Family Stay

My and my sister’s families stayed at this house and had a wonderful time. The house is lovely and exactly as advertised. We had a lot of fun swimming in the beautiful lake and fishing. Check in and check out were easy and the hosts communicated well. And the neighborhood felt very safe and clean with plenty of privacy while not feeling in any way isolated. All-in-all a great stay, and I would recommend this house for anyone looking for a relaxing lake vacation.

We had a wonderful family vacation. Enjoyed the history of the old cottage and loved the dock area. Great communication with the host, all requests were responded to very promptly. All the comforts of home, will definitely stay here again!

A house with a view

Our rental was tidy and had plenty of extras. The dock is shared and small but there is also a town dock within walking distance that has a small patch of sand and a couple of benches.. u can bring your chair and chill & swim from the dock. There is no grass on the property so if you bring your dog and they arent used to doing their business on gravel as mine arent (spoiled brats) There is no AC, so bring some window fans~ that helped us in the humid week we had. I loved the antique furniture ~ matching edith & archie bunker rockers. You cansee the lake from the dining room table and season room. The neighborhood is nice and great for walking. Everyone was nice and my early am walks along the lake were peaceful & beautiful.

Lakefront Stay

We had a wonderful family vacation at Grey Gables. Everything was clean and the appliances looked to be new. The location was right on the lake and we loved walking around and going down to the dock. We were there during a heatwave and there is no AC, so that was very hot. There were lots of fans provided at the house, which made a big difference. If you’re looking for a relaxing, beautiful vacation I would highly recommend Grey Gables!

Perfect Getaway!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gray Gables. There are so many great things to say. Towels and linens were plentiful, the rental clean, warm, rustic, and charming. The outdoor grill worked perfectly. Plenty of parking and the outdoor porches were spacious. Plenty of room inside for entertaining day visitors. All new appliances worked perfectly and the fridge kept refreshments ice-cold! We appreciated the long family history of this rental and thought of all the wonderful memories it gave so many and were able to make many of our own. The great water pressure in the shower was a huge bonus! Big thanks to Becca for quick and precise communication and thank you for allowing us to share your wishes lace on the lake. Old fashioned lakehouse

Wonderful cabin. So clean. Old fashioned place like we like. Would rent again. Having the W and D very helpful. Short 1 house away walk to the lake. Not good if one has mobility issues. I could not climb stairs so had to sleep on sofa…and sofa kind of short. Only 1 shower but downstairs. Would have been nice to have workable bikes to use. We borrowed a pak n play for baby from nearby hotel. Otherwise loved our stay.

Ideal cottage by the lake

We enjoyed the cottage and loved the dock, the ladder to get to the water and just found it to be the perfect getaway. Yes, the cottage is old and the beds are not fantastic but it was worth it. We enjoyed the location SO much.

Disappointment in a musty cottage

This cottage is very musty and much of the furniture was unusable. The bathrooms and kitchen were cleaned well, but the rest of the house needs a complete overhaul. We spent most of our time outside and departed three days early. We were refunded for those days. In fairness, the dock and lake were nice.

We are three sisters who have inherited this incredible property from our great great grandparents.They built this cottage on Lake Sunapee in 1898 for their children and grandchildren to enjoy as they did. Our parent upgraded each year and so have we to maintain the ambiance of rustic New Hampshire summer living close to the water and in the pine forest. We have been renting for a number of years now and all our renters leave happier than when they came and many continue to come back each year as we hope you will.
