This remodeled slice of paradise has a full kitchen, vaulted ceilings, and ample space in the living and dining room areas. Both bedrooms and the living room have AC units to keep you cool. Or take in the cool, fragrant island trade wind, and truly experience what the locals call a "Hawaiian breeze". Enjoy each meal with a change of scenery as there are three furnished lanai's to choose from. No matter where you lounge or dine, everyone is sure to have an awesome vacation and want to return time and time again.

Loved this place. If returning to Maui, I would like to stay at same unit! Perfect for our family of 5. Very clean roomy, I loved the quietness jungle feel of the place . Nice having a washer /dryer . Enjoyed waking up early with coffee on the deck the sounds of all the birds , felt secluded and so relaxing, a nice change from the crowds and hot beach but just up the hill , so close to all the activity. The pool was also amazing, very kept up and clean.

Perfect location for our family

This condo was extremely cozy and even though we were not right on the beach the location was perfect to get close to many favorite beaches and shopping places. The space was perfect for our family with lots of room to spread out.

Great place in a great location

The unit was perfect for our stay. Great location with walking distance to the shops and to the beach (if you're up for a nice walk). The inclusion of beach chairs, beach towels and an umbrella were a pleasant surprise. The sunset view over the ocean from the back porch never got old.

Family vacation in Maui

We stayed for five days and the condo worked very well for our family. It was very clean and there was space for all five of us which included our young adult children. We spent a lot of time on the lanai. It was an easy drive to the beaches and shops. Kitchen was well equipped. Unfortunately the pool that was closer to the condo was closed for maintenance during our visit. There was another pool to use. We would go back again in a minute. View was beautiful.

Property is in a perfect location for shopping and nice dining. Got a view of the ocean from the lanai. Washer and dryer is useful for washing swimsuits and towels after a long Beach day. Quiet property (although you may be wakened by the birds and roosters) and well maintained. Only issue is in master bathroom; the shower head needs fixing.

Amazing location for girls trip!

Loved the condo. Great location and the space was as listed. Only issue we had was with getting the sofa bed folded back up but it was surprisingly comfortable. Very friendly and communicative property management. Grounds were so beautiful and well maintained. Very quiet location. Would stay again for sure!!

Great Getaway

This was a really nice space. It's just a liiiiiitle too far to walk to anything (like the beach or the shops) but it's less than a 5 minute drive to anything you would want from the island. There were a few little things (tile needing replaced in bedroom, kitchen faucet ending replacing, misinformation on pool access), but nothing that would prevent us from staying here again in the future.

Our Stay on Maui

We had a very enjoyable stay on Maui in Wailea! We loved the area and everything the island has to offer. The Wailea Ekolu unit was spacious and comfortable. The air conditioning and ceiling fans were a great addition and kept all living spaces very cool. The beds were very comfortable and the condo had lots of natural light. Some minor issues include the uncomfortable living room chairs that need to be replaced, broken beach chairs (did not have enough to seat our family of four) and a beach umbrella would have been a nice addition to have. The unit actually has a slight ocean view that is visible from the corner of the lanai and would be grander if the foliage on the property was trimmed back. The grounds of the property were very lush and beautiful, but there always seemed to be yard work taking place during quiet time (before 8am) as well as throughout the day. We would recommend staying at this condo as we enjoyed our stay overall!

The condo itself is fine. The owner has taken great care to provide everything needed for a nice stay. However, this is a second floor condo. The people in the lower condo are chain smokers. They lite up early in the AM and smokeuntil late at night. We rarely could use the lanai it was so bad. The smoke would fill our condo if we didn’t keep the doors closed. We registered complaints to the owner and her management company but to no avail. Nothing at all was done. If you have issues with cigarette smoke I recommend you take a pass on this rental. We certainly won’t return. In fact, we like some sort of compensation as the lanai was virtually unusable.

Small, clean, near great beaches

The property was very clean (major plus). We were told there would be a "Blue Book" on the table giving the details for the place. There was no book, no instructions on how anything worked. So we couldn't get tv in living room to work, which meant we had to sit in the master bedroom to watch a movie. We sent a text to property manager and explained, they gave suggestions, but weren't able to help us out. The next day was 4th of July so we didn't want to bother them, but they never made an effort to get back with us to get the tv working. The place is very small and very dark. If you want the ac to work, you can't open any of the wooden shutters as there are only screens, no glass panes. So that made the house very dark. The AC in the master bedroom doesn't make it to the bathroom/sink area so that is really warm. The lanai is nice, and it is definitely a peek-a-boo view of ocean. The "grill" is not really a bbq, just a small electric grill, almost like a grill pan. And they had us run the cord into the house to plug into the kitchen as the outside outlets did not work. Also, this unit seems to be on a busy road as sirens were heard several times each day/night, along with other traffic, and that was with us being gone all day. I hate to sound negative, but these are some of the reasons we wouldn't rent here again. I read the reviews before renting here and others seemed to really like it, so this is just our personal preference.

Maui stay

When we arrived at the property there were several minor issues. The unit was extremely hot as the air conditioning unit was not turned on and it took several hours to cool down which was very inconvenient after a 10 hour plane ride from Ohio.The master bathroom was dirty. There was hair on the floor dirty sink, and white deposits all over the shower doors floor and wall. Not sure if it was soap scum or what and 3 burned out lights in the main light above the mirror. Someone was sent to clean the bathroom. He mopped the floor and said he could not clean the soap scum out. The unit has a bad problem with ants in the kitchen area most but they were also throughout in bathroom and bedrooms. We left a coffee cup on the counter and it was infested with ants a few hours later. The refrigerator had a bad smell. The unit is described as having a couch with pullout bed. Well the couch does not pull out into a bed. The unit has a grill. However. It is electric and did not work. Called on location manager and she called back several hours later after we ate to inform us the outlet outside didn't work and we had to use an extension cord and plug it in inside the unit. The pool was closed the first day and on the 2nd day we saw a mouse in our unit. Alot of minor issues that you should not have to deal with when your paying this much money per night. Overall a great location, kitchen is updated with nice cookware,dishes, waffle maker etc. But the living area could use some updating. Only a couch, chair and 2 outside wood chairs to sit on that are not comfortable. Very disappointed with the unit.

BUGS!

I know this is the tropics but the second bathroom has a big problem with large red ants that should be exterminated. Also, decorative pillows on the couch and most window screens are covered in dust and should be vacuumed prior to re-renting the unit. There is also a lot of dust and debris/dead bugs behind the living room chairs. Finally, we were surprised that there was nothing other than salt and pepper for enhancing foods cooked at the condo. Nor was there a ‘welcome basket’ with staples like coffee, sugar, a Hawaiian treat or two as we’ve received from other rentals. Pretty disappointing considering what we paid for this unit.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely double master suite condo. It was perfect for 2 couples and very quiet. We slept great after spending most days at the beach and we were walking distance from the Shops at Wailea which included a grocery store. We will definitely return! Mahalo.

Loved the unit!! Beautiful and spacious

The unit was very clean and in a great location! I loved how spacious it was, great for entertaining. The location is perfect. The only bummer was check in is so late (4pm). And no exceptions for early check in. Our party flew in so early in the morning and very exhausted from the flight. Being able to check in earlier would have greatly helped. Hopefully the late check ins and early check outs can be adjusted, it sort of feels like your losing a whole day.

Absolutely lovely in every way

This property was everything we hoped it would be - and more. The condo is spotless and beautifully furnished, and we so enjoyed sitting on the beautiful lanai with our morning coffee, looking at the ocean and hearing the birds. Everything about this unit is special, and the location is very close to restaurants, shopping and beaches. We will not hesitate to book this unit again. Aloha.

Great apartment, horrible service by the agency

We loved this apartment, but had a horrible experience with the agency that rents it out, Maui Paradise Properties. If you consider renting this apartment, i suggest to try to rent directly from the owners or rent one of the neighboring apartments. We had a nightmare with our flights getting cancelled and Brittany and Maui Paradise was so helpful. We had to add nights at the last minute and she made it so easy. We only wish dealing with the airlines has been a fraction as easy as she made it. The condo was perfect for us (2 couples). We each had our own space but the living space was big and open and perfect for our dinner and game nights. We will definitely be contacting Brittany for our next trip!
