Ce charmant chalet a été récemment rénové avec un accent sur le confort avec une pincée de caractère. Notre chalet dispose d'un grand salon et salle à manger adjacente à la cuisine moderne et efficace. Nous sommes situés près du village pittoresque et à distance de marche de tous les magasins, restaurants, plages de la marée contingente et une foule de centres de culte. Nous sommes situés sur la même empreinte que le chalet Adams (vrbo # 1243822) et partage le même bungalow de blanchisserie. Facilement louer les deux maisons ou juste une avec une porte de verrouillage. Les deux ont leurs propres espaces de stationnement.

The proctor cottage was perfect. Comfortable, clean, and homey. Even better than the pictures. Perfectly hospitable and sweet. Very close to the village which we enjoyed. A bit of a walk to proper beach, which didn’t bother us since it’s February. A lovely stay I hope to visit again.

A quiet and relaxing cottage with a great location.

We visited St Simons Island for a short mid winter vacation. The Proctor Cottage is an enjoyable accommodation with a great location in the village.

Great spot for a guy’s trip

Great location. Tucked away from the noise. Easy walk to downtown. Fire pit and a grill- about all you need!

Quaint and Great location!

Not luxury but perfect for a week at beach relaxing. Had everything we needed, including some bikes. Lots of wild life in the cozy backyard including bugs so take your bug repellent! We loved our stay.

Everything you need and great location

Up front, I chose this due to the location and price, which were both stellar. In the end, my husband and I were so pleased we found this cute cottage that we will definitely recommend it and stay again. It's perfect for a couple or a smaller family. The shower was great, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay!

a perfect fit for us

A simple and clean little cottage with a fantastic enclosed courtyard that was devine all times of the day and evening in April. With live oaks creating a full canopy and lush vegetation on three sides with the cottage on the other, the courtyard felt secluded and comfortable. And the fire pit was a nice bonus. The location of the cottage can't be beat with an easy walk to the beach and to the village, and the neighborhood was quiet when we were there for 11 nights.

Pleasant house but if you are a senior citizen...

We are in our 70's and the master bed was so high off the ground I could not safely get into it. There is a second bedroom with 2 single beds that I slept in. This has happened to us before as it must be a thing to have a high bed. We could not figure out the TV so we spent a few days without one. We would recommend a info sheet on directions how to operate. We enjoyed our time there and still would stay again.

Paintedcottage

Charming & newly painted - Unfortunately the cottage was very old and an odor that was similar to “cat spraying” lingered . The bathroom renovation was outstanding, but we had to leave because My daughter and I both have allergies and mine involves cats. Vrbo was fully understanding via phone in my situation.. as was the managing property owner BUT I am still waiting to hear on the refund... ? I am sure they are both going to honor what they each told me via phone and chat conversations.... will keep you posted!

Kathryn, We had professional pest control verify there were no cats living on the property. They didn't see any cats or any signs of cats. We don't allow pets in this cottage- ever. None of us, including 3 property managers, the 2 owners and the countless guests before (and after) you ever detected anything close to cat odor. This is the first time we've heard this from you. We can't correct an issue that is unfounded. Sadly, you put this on the internet. Karma is very real. Good luck with that.

Beautiful Beach Cottage in SSI

Proctor Cottage was as advertised. Nicely decorated, clean, and walking distance to the village. We’d definitely consider staying here again when we return to St. Simons Island.

Had a great stay at Proctor Cottage. Great location and very private. We were surprised to find there were 2 bikes for us to use, which we really enjoyed! Would definitely stay at this property again.

Great stay

We had a great stay here. My wife and I stayed at this property years ago and were happy to be able to stay again with our two children. It is a cute little house that was exactly what we needed. It is very close to the village so walking to breakfast and dinner was very simple. Even considering it’s proximity to the village it was extremely quiet at night.

Loved the place. Enjoyed that it was close to the village, pier, and lighthouse. Walked across street to Methodist Church. Used the fire pit several times, sitting under the large oaks and palms. Bathroom and kitchen are wonderful. Great, quiet neighborhood. We'd go back tomorrow, but It it's a long drive from the Kansas City area. So glad we found this listing on VRBO.

Place was cute and charming. Did have problem getting in as door needed to be pulled when entering security code, otherwise door couldn't be opened. Property manager graciously came right over to help.

Really enjoyed our time at the cottage. Loved the space and location. Cottage does not have much of a view. Located behind the main house. Other than that it was perfect.

This cottage was perfect. Quiet setting and private patio just steps from the beach and town. We walked to the beach and restaurants/ shops on a daily basis.
