Was neat and clean. Had everything we needed to cook and entertain. Only negative was thin, non soundproof accordion doors upstairs. Could hear snoring a little too easily. Other than that, our stay was very nice and relaxing.Firewood, skiing, food, bowling, and things to do located very close by. Will definitely book again. Host communicated everything and sent all information needed about the property well before needed.
The house is lovely, the photos do not do it justice, once you walk up the stairs to the main room you are greeted with a cozy kitchen and living room. The house has plenty of space to spread out amongst your group. The Location is wonderful, only about a 15 minute drive from seven Springs which is half what it would be to try and find a place in town. We were also fortunate enough that at the end of the street we would have snow plows coming in almost daily to help keep the roads safe when driving up and down from the mountain. The host is exceptionally kind and supportive. Being at call when necessary and ready to help if needed. Even giving us extra time when needed due to a major road being closed due to ice.For anyone planning a trip to Seven Springs, I highly recommend staying at this home, for its location, quality, and hostessâs support.
We were looking for a very peaceful, quiet, comfortable and cozy place in nature. This place is more than perfect if you are looking to relax in the mountains. Service was excellent, the place was neat and clean. We thank Sandy and Al for providing such a fabtastic place and service. We want to come back again. We highly recommend this place.
Not a long drive to Seven Springs. Grounds looked beautiful covered with snow. Would love to come back in spring/summer to enjoy the deck and waterfall.
Wonderful place a short drive from seven Springs. 7 slept comfortably, and more than accommodated our needs. Very cozy and picturesque.
Would definitely go there again.
Beautiful location! Ski weekend at 7 Springs w/ family/friends. Also able to take advantage of walking the grounds of Fallingwater (under reno until 2026) and a drive thru Ohiopyle. Well-stocked kitchen. Good basement entrance for leaving all of our wet boots/coats-plus a dryer. Nice hangout area in living room with fireplace. Played games/cards which were provided. Sandy was a good communicator but allowed us to have our vacation w/ family! Thanks Sandy!
This was a great location for a New Year's ski getaway. We had two families with teenage kids, and the space worked out nicely for our needs. The great room was perfect for celebrating with the group, and the slopes were a short drive away. Sandy was an amazing host, and went out of her way to ensure our stay was a memorable one. We would definitely stay here again.
The house and land is beautiful, country setting and very well kept! Our family has children that range from 15 weeks ( yes weeks) old to 18. My wife and I were looking for a place to go and unplug! Well we found it. There is internet there and tvs but we just didnât hand out the password and this allowed us to fully reconnect as a family. More then just everyday dinner table talk then everyone in separate direction. We will definitely want to stay many more times because itâs just what we needed! And itâs not so far off the grid that getting supplyâs is a total chore but the setting itself with the waterfall. Is perfect to recharge and enjoy your family, thereâs room in the yards to play any outdoor sport so we had water ballon fight and kickball games. Corn hole. Ext. we didnât have to leave if we didnât want to. So I recommend for anyone that needs peace and quite!!!
Property had everything we needed. Loved the back deck by the pond. Very peaceful listening the the birds and the occasional bullfrog. The kitchen had everything we needed.
We enjoyed our stay at thus property! There was nice space for eating together and playing games! Plenty of space in the basement to store the ski gear! Sandy was always prompt to respond and help in any way with our needs!
We wanted to celebrate an early Thanksgiving with family from Montreal, Dc/MD, Eastern PA, and Ohio. Serenity location and home was perfect. It was well equipped, everything was clean, easy to fine. The owners checked in with us, were kind and available. The land was nestled in the mountains. This was a great family reunion location
We spent a beautiful Fall weekend with our three adult children sitting around the fire pit and telling, "remembering when," stories. The home was comfortable and very clean. We used the kitchen for making our breakfasts and found all the utensils and cookware were very adequate. The beds were comfortable and the living room had plenty of seating. There are steps to climb both outside and inside so it may be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. We certainly would return for more, "remembering when" stories.
The house was great. Very clean. Loved the waterfall.
Sandy is very kind and helpful. Gave us lots of additional information. If it was something she didnât know, she found the information. She was easy to contact.
We really enjoyed staying in this charming county in Somerset County. Front yard has a beautiful design of rocks surrounding a waterfall so altogether it creates a really nice calming meditating atmosphere. House had everything what we needed, all cooking wear and the grill. It was nice staying around the fire-ring in the night. Lots of parks around the area to explore and hike. Seven Spring resort is located 20 minutes away from the location and it has all range of activities - definitely is good to spend the entire day there! Hosts are very welcoming and easy to contact with, they explain everything thoroughly over the phone and told us about the best things to-do around the area. Definitely would stay there again!
The house was clean and well supplied! The back yard is beautiful! It was great to relax and get away. The owners checked in to make sure that everything was going well. Very responsive!
This was a nice stay for us. We loved the rear deck and the view of the waterfall. There is covered portion of the deck not shown in some photos. The living room was relaxing. The kitchen is well stocked. Roughly 15 minutes from the nearest town. We had a good time and would stay again.
I grew up in the Pittsburgh area and loved the mountains. My husband and I had long careers with ATT. Close to retirement we decided to fulfill our dream of a home in the mountains of Pa. We just love our mountain home.
This home is centrally located to many activities and the mountain views are awesome!!! We are situated on 24 acres with a plateau of 5 acres that has a view that is truly amazing. We had a challenge of remodeling the home and adding an additional great room with a fireplace and truly love it! The home was built in 1860.
We are in the middle of so many activities. Ski, snowboard, horseback riding, golf, swimming, canoe, amusement parks, antique shopping and so much more. We are so happy to have this home for the past 25 years. The property is wonderful for children and adults. We have a fire ring for s'mores and to gather around and relax. You can play baseball, volleyball, badminton, and we have a horseshoe pit on the property.
